...If you're honestly the kind of person who doesn't want to put a toilet seat down because of energy concerns, I don't know what to tell you.

Just leave the seat down. Math ain't on your side. Man pees, he needs it up Man shits, be needs it down Woman pees, she needs it down Woman shits, she needs it down. Three of the four times your toilet gets used, the seat needs to be down. This is a non issue

It's made me work a lot harder at helping the men I meet out there. We've got it tough, so I do my best to help. Even simple stuff like offering a bus seat to a dude with a bunch of groceries can go far.

You're basically advising us to spend time thinking about frowning and mugging at women to keep them bitches in their place. That's asinine. Complete waste of time.

How do you define "fighting"? I think never criticise is bad advise. I expect certain things from a partner, when I don't get them I will make it clear. Otherwise, how will they know to fix these problems so we can have a better relationship?

I view holding frame as keeping a grasp on your original intentions and your personal narrative independent of the outcomes a given situation. So when I look at this, the fact that he gets applause at the end doesn't matter to me. He changed based on the whims of the crowd. He allowed their terrible attitudes to control the situation. Oh man, unless Burr's view of himself and his comedy is "guy who bites back and makes you laugh with it." Maybe that's the piece I'm missing. Maybe for Burr, faili…

Is this holding frame? He went there with the intention to do a set, and then let the crowd dictate what his act would become and clearly became emotional about it. Sure, it's funny and it's a ballsy display but I'm not sure I'd hold it up as a great frame example.

I think you killed it and some of the reactions suggested here are asinine. You're the goddamn captain, you're confident in that. If the captain gets a stupid suggestion, he doesn't flip out and overreact. He calmly states his case (I'm not changing who I am based on a random article on the internet) and moves on. You had a good approach and got a good result.

GREAT response. Made me grin.

It does. Surrounding yourself with the kind of music that matches up with the kind of person you want to be influences you to be that person more and more. When I listen to music made by dominant men, I influence myself to be a bit more dominant for example. If I want to see the world clearly, listening to music that lays out the world as it is reminds me to do that.

Don't see the problem here. Successful marriages are a team effort, she's supporting her husband and taking credit for that support. Blind hate is useless. She sounds like a good woman.

I know right? I raised an eyebrow and my roommate muttered "Sweet little footsweep" when he saw the trip. Both of us have been playing judo for a few years, and it's exactly for crap like this.

Yeah, THIS was a huge thing I took from my early TRP reading. It's been fantastic. I feel better, it's lead to more personal and professional success. Little things that turn out to be huge.

One of the most interesting things about this, for me, is his view on gay people. He drops "fag" in conversation and then literally the next line is showing support to the gay community. It's an important lesson in how men speak. Strong vocabularies and an understanding that you're not going to police your language to make sure to not offend.

Calling women insane is lazy. They work in a fundamentally different way than we do. Writing them off as insane is an excuse for us not to do the RP work

There are a lot of posts on TRP that seem disgusted by the idea that men should ever have to deal with adversity. People are so willing to sneer at the concept of putting in some work instead of just letting everything fall into place. Swallowing the red pill has made my relationship and my job work better than I'd ever imagined, sure, but I recognize it still requires a lot of effort on my part.

I see it as a personal narrative. You choose who you are and how you want to represent that to people. In your personal interactions, you keep that narrative in mind in how you speak, act and react to others. It's work. But it's worth it to consciously dictate how your interactions go.

I firmly advocate martial arts. A real martial art. Something with pressure testing. Wrestling, boxing, BJJ, Judo, Muay Thai. Anything with live sparring against resisting opponents and that isn't a choreographed dance or a series of "What Ifs". It's good for you. It builds a backbone. It builds confidence. When you know you are physically capable of handling yourself in most situations, it frees you from having anything to prove. It helps you own the room. It helps your attitude. Your posture. …

You're building muscles. That takes time, and sometimes you're sore after putting in a hard day's work. You're not failing or anything, you're being honest that sometimes the progress feels like a slog. That's normal bro.

This is how I found Red Pill. I find the article grossly distorted your positions.

I'm brand new to The Red Pill. After hearing years of feminist theory seeing my friends have their lives fundamentally change because their partners demanded it, I felt like I needed to think in fundamentally different ways. And yes, I've heard all these criticisms of TRP. So this was a great introduction to what ACTUALLY goes on here.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
