1	As a man you should not date if you are broke Honestly, each woman who wants to stay home at some point has their own plan and reasons, so I am not going to justify on here all the hows and whys. Some simply want the bare minimum of financial stability needed to stay at home until they stop breastfeeding. 1	As a man you should not date if you are broke If I get married and have, let's say, 3 children, with a 2 year gap for each, that's about a 10 year period from the start of the first pregnancy until the youngest is old enough to not need to be around their mother most of the time. If I do have kids, those first few years are way too crucial developmentally speaking for me to just put them in someone else's care for most of the day. I do not expect the majority of my peer group to start talking about marriage until we are on the other side of 30. I do not expect most of the relationships they are in now to last either. It does not help when most mainstream feminists coddle them about it as if the choice was out of their hands. As a rule, any woman who wants to have children should ideally want to marry the top 20% earners for their area.
