| -1 | Why does most of reddit dislike /r/mensrights? (X Post from /r/Askreddit) Would you all like to weigh in?A large brigade of people people flooded a harmless website with false rape accusations. The exact same thing that MR complains about all the time. How can people want harsher punishments for false rape accusers if THEY THEMSELVES are the ones trivializing it? | /r/MensRights | 18/12/13 07:37 PM |
Why does most of reddit dislike /r/mensrights? (X Post from /r/Askreddit) Would you all like to weigh in?See this. This guy explains it eloquently. | /r/MensRights | 18/12/13 07:08 PM
Violence against men, still ok...That's really not a healthy mentality to have. | /r/MensRights | 26/11/13 12:55 AM
MRAs want peaceful dialogue and open conversations. Feminists want to violently protest peaceful speeches, ran away, and call names. What does that say about who is right?Playing devil's advocate. Where are these invitations to friendly discussions? Most of what I see here is just circle jerking over how awful feminists are, nothing that could even be construed as "friendly." It's even evident in this very thread. For all this talk about "open mindedness" that we seem to adhere to, many people are ready to write off all feminists as man-hating irrational misandrists. A proper debate requires at least some respect espect for your opponent, something that many MRAs… | /r/MensRights | 07/04/13 06:13 AM
Saw this license plate frame at my local thrift store...I'm sure it was right next to the "My woman doesn't belong in the kitchen / I like my sandwiches in the den" one. C'mon, this shit is stupid, it's not really worth getting worked up over. | /r/MensRights | 01/04/13 09:09 PM
| -1 | Feminism versus FACTS (RE Damsel in distress)Dude, YouTube comments are GARBAGE. You can't honestly assume that she's not accepting feedback because she disabled them. She's stated she's accepting actual criticism, which is not something that you would at all get from the YouTube comment section. | /r/MensRights | 15/03/13 07:29 PM |
"...Open mic off limits to cis-gendered men (we all know you talk enough)". And they really wonder why some people feel feminism is anti-male.Seriously guys? Who the hell cares. A bunch of girls start a club in their treehouse with a "no boys allowed" sign and everyone here starts whining about how they weren't invited. This is just stupid. | /r/MensRights | 05/03/13 05:45 PM
Girl who cried RapeNext time you're getting with a girl, as you're getting her all hot and ready, get on top of her, look her deep in the eyes, and whisper, "Do you want me to fuck you?" The mood will not be killed and you will feel alpha as fuck when she says she wants you. | /r/MensRights | 27/02/13 07:08 PM
Girl who cried RapeHaha, if the mood can be ruined by something as simple as that, you're doing it wrong mate. It's not like you're asking her to fill out a form. Just a simple verbal affirmation is all that's needed, then you proceed to pound away knowing full well she's into it just as much as you are. Girls I've been with have all appreciated it. | /r/MensRights | 27/02/13 06:56 PM
Girl who cried RapeIt's still always good to explicitly ask though. | /r/MensRights | 27/02/13 05:41 PM
Girl who cried RapeCan't read her mind? Freaking ask her then. If you ask her, there's no ambiguity. Just assuming she wants sex because she didn't say no leads to situations exactly like this. I'm not saying this is evidence that he raped her, but c'mon people. There's shit you can do to prevent this stuff from happening. | /r/MensRights | 27/02/13 05:34 PM
I was so happy to see this in the women's washroom! Why is it wrong? Legitimately curious, since the 1 in 4 is basically all I've heard my whole life. | /r/MensRights | 16/02/13 02:55 AM
It's been 9 months since feminist martyr Anita Sarkeesian received $150,000+ in sympathy donations, yet she's not yet produced a single entry in her "Tropes vs. Gaming" series. (X-Post from /r/gaming)Fair enough, guess I hadn't thought of that. Point conceded. | /r/MensRights | 28/01/13 08:13 PM

(X-Post from /r/gaming)Still don't see how this affects the rights of men. This just seems like she's being a shitty person and the only reason we're poking fun at her is because she's a feminist. | /r/MensRights | 28/01/13 05:41 PM |
Feminism and post-modern discourse: Why feminists "will typically try, not to answer opponents with better arguments, but to silence them completely as ‘hateful’, ‘intolerant’, ‘bigoted’, ‘misogynisSaying your subreddit looks good in comparison to SRS is kind of cheating. | /r/MensRights | 22/01/13 01:31 AM
The Looming Sexbot ThreatIt's a shame the crazies out there cause certain people to hate an entire gender... kinda hinders progress when you immediately write-off half the population. | /r/MensRights | 16/01/13 09:56 PM
The Looming Sexbot Threatonce they have the “perfect” programmed girlfriend at home, there really won’t be any reason to interact with women unless you’re at work. Dude really doesn't like women. | /r/MensRights | 16/01/13 08:47 PM
Reddit White Knight humiliatedIs a well thought out, rational argument that makes intelligent observations and conclusions suddenly less of an opinion because the person who stated it is a feminist? | /r/MensRights | 15/01/13 01:14 AM
| -10 | Reddit CEO Yishan - A feminist and SRS supporter. So by supporting SRS, he supporting censorship of any dissenting view of feminism and feministsWhile men die much more often than women via suicide, women are estimated to attempt suicide three times more often than men. Given this, I don't see how this demonstrates that women somehow have a privilege over men in this regard. | /r/MensRights | 03/01/13 02:03 AM |
"Black people are oppressed, so I joined the KKK!"Sure thing, here's a survey conducted in 2003 by the US Department of Justice. See table on page 9, 19,670 male victims vs 179,170 of rape/sexual assault. This is simply one study, but all studies indicate a vast majority of victims of rape are women. Wouldnt raising awareness of rape contribute to "rape culture" since women would be more scared? That's not it at all. The "rape culture" that people fight against is the tendency our society has to trivialize rape and its effects on people, causin… | /r/MensRights | 20/12/12 09:21 PM
"Black people are oppressed, so I joined the KKK!"In many countries a woman is forced to give birth to a baby that was raped into her. 9 out of 10 rape victims are female. 17.7 million women have been raped or attempted to be raped. These are real issues that matter. Feminism actively fights and raises awareness for all of these. Clearly it has it's flaws (one of the reasons why Men's Rights exist), but to say it has no place in today's society is just ignorant. | /r/MensRights | 20/12/12 04:02 AM
"Black people are oppressed, so I joined the KKK!"You act like women's suffrage was the only justified issue that feminism has fought for. | /r/MensRights | 20/12/12 12:45 AM
