A large brigade of people people flooded a harmless website with false rape accusations. The exact same thing that MR complains about all the time. How can people want harsher punishments for false rape accusers if THEY THEMSELVES are the ones trivializing it?

Playing devil's advocate. Where are these invitations to friendly discussions? Most of what I see here is just circle jerking over how awful feminists are, nothing that could even be construed as "friendly." It's even evident in this very thread. For all this talk about "open mindedness" that we seem to adhere to, many people are ready to write off all feminists as man-hating irrational misandrists. A proper debate requires at least some respect espect for your opponent, something that many MRAs…

Haha, if the mood can be ruined by something as simple as that, you're doing it wrong mate. It's not like you're asking her to fill out a form. Just a simple verbal affirmation is all that's needed, then you proceed to pound away knowing full well she's into it just as much as you are. Girls I've been with have all appreciated it.

Can't read her mind? Freaking ask her then. If you ask her, there's no ambiguity. Just assuming she wants sex because she didn't say no leads to situations exactly like this. I'm not saying this is evidence that he raped her, but c'mon people. There's shit you can do to prevent this stuff from happening.

While men die much more often than women via suicide, women are estimated to attempt suicide three times more often than men. Given this, I don't see how this demonstrates that women somehow have a privilege over men in this regard.

Sure thing, here's a survey conducted in 2003 by the US Department of Justice. See table on page 9, 19,670 male victims vs 179,170 of rape/sexual assault. In many countries a woman is forced to give birth to a baby that was raped into her. 9 out of 10 rape victims are female. 17.7 million women have been raped or attempted to be raped. These are real issues that matter. Feminism actively fights and raises awareness for all of these. Clearly it has it's flaws (one of the reasons why Men's Rights exist), but to say it has no place in today's society is just ignorant.
