So many good points here.

There's a reason those stuffy country clubs and exclusive city social clubs have the rule, NO SMARTPHONES.

That discrimination on the basis of gender in women's favor is a type of discrimination that hurts nobody and helps everyone.

The tone is set at the top, and among those at the top of the film/TV industry is Stephen Spielberg. Now please consider Stephen Spielberg's films, and name one of his films in which the father is the good guy, and the mother is the villain. I suppose you could point to Lincoln, but even in that film, Sally Field's performance as Mary makes her seem as if SHE is the one who suffered the most at Lincoln's selfishness and lust for glory. It's the same in all his films. I'm not saying Spielberg is …

Amen to that. Such garbage. There is genuinely nothing coming out of Hollywood that isn't being done better elsewhere, for less capital outlay.

I used to love The Guardian. There was a time when it really was a fair news organization which provided coverage of important news, intelligently. However, about 10-15 years ago, it fell prey to woke, feminist ideology, and I stopped even bothering to look at their website, so pathetic. They even stopped taking comments - once, ironically, to a news story that was covering a free speech development. So, no, it's not worth getting upset about this, because I would EXPECT The Guardian to cover th…

Maybe, but she doesn't listen, and she doesn't accommodate those who come before her, when they have compelling reasons why they did things that weren't totally kosher. She likes to grandstand. So if she had to support one side over another in a paternity case, even when the mother is wrong, she'd AUTOMATICALLY support the mother, because our society AUTOMATICALLY supports the mother, a priori, in advance. That's not fair, and a judge who isn't fair is not a judge, but a partisan.

Don't even get me started on family courts in the US. Such a shitshow. Imagine courts with nothing but Judge Judy's as far as the eye can see. Then see if you still need to ask why courts and judges oppose paternity tests.

Men and women mostly can't be friends because women cling to their womanly entitlements in every relationship with men (whether the relationship is platonic or romantic), meaning that such a 'friendship' relationship is not one between equals; it is one in which the woman dominates and imposes her will on the male 'friend'. There is nothing fair or attractive about such a relationship. Some men might engage in such friendships due to mommy issues (i.e., "look, mommy, you might hate me and this m…

WHAT never happened? I never got mugged? Yes, three times, by men. Have I been snuck up on by women? Yes, many times, and once she picked my pocket. So when an individual sneaks up on me and invades my personal space, do I know in advance whether that person is male or female? NO, you know - at best - that someone of unknown gender is sneaking up on you, and is a potential threat, and if you were mugged before, you know how that leads to serious PTSD and physical injuries. So you respond defensi…

The irony is that young women will sneak up on a man aggressively, in the street, scantily clad, as if they have a RIGHT to sneak up on you, as if you must WANT them to sneak up on you. And then when you object, they retort, "What is your PROBLEM?" If you have ever been mugged you will understand why sneaking up on people - regardless of gender - is ALWAYS a bad idea. And another thing: they ALWAYS find a way to walk too close to the man or RIGHT BEHIND him. Like a dog. It's so annoying.

Arwa Mahdawi is one of the worst. Super woke man hater. I see her tag line, and I know I can dismiss everything she writes as basically gibberish being forwarded by a human example of AI.

It's the culture. It's been polluted with so much woke garbage. As an example, I've watched Survivor since Season 3 or 4. Those early seasons were okay, since it was still a new entertainment genre and people weren't playing into archetypes, they were simply playing Survivor. The last few seasons, however, it has gotten so predictable and tiresome, at least as far as the contestants go. And I'm trying to get through the new season, episode 1, but these people are all such losers, fake careers, p…

Coming full circle to my original point, "Not speaking with or acknowledging men is fine. I have no problem with that," I still have no problem with that. You do. I don't have to explain my indifference to this practice. There are, what, 4 billion females on Earth, each of whom has their own reasons for behaving as they do, though it might not make sense to others. Democracy is messy.

If what you are really asking me is, "are you a racist, " then acknowledge that. And if you are, then I would counter, this is a gender discussion, not a racial one. You are being racist by attempting to redirect the discussion into a woke one. Further racist is your assumption that I am not black. And that if I am black, I am not entitled to my opinion on gender issies, if that opinion doesn't conform to DNC dogma.

I'm not sure what year was the tipping point for this, but TV commercials became - at one point - a white male bashing ground. The white male was the stupid one and everyone NOT a white male somehow had found the secret to life and happiness. This was probably during the Clinton administration's second term, and I recall being so turned off, that I stopped watching primetime legacy broadcast TV. I mean, the sitcoms, the crime dramas, etc. I do watch reality shows, but since they are unscripted (…

I would argue that a man who distrusts other men by default - this is a man who is not trustworthy. You see this all the time - the paranoid guy who thinks you are trying to rape him is likely to be someone who rapes. The guy who thinks when you smile and say hello that this means you are flirting with him is the guy who is secretly gay. Maya Angelou said, "when someone tells you who they are, believe them." Same thing here: the guy who distrusts other guys is not a trustworthy guy, to begin wit…

Money, that's why. Someone is jealous for your job and is trying to hurt your career. They may succeed, and you will have no recourse about it. Get out of there ASAP, would be what I would do if I were you.

Not an incorrect approach. However, you have to be mentally prepared to be treated as a bully. And most days I can NOT deal with that. If I sense further engagement is forthcoming, I drop everything and run, literally.

Because women crowd behind men, invade their personal space, as if entitled to do so. I have no patience to play these games with them, so I ALWAYS defer to the woman, letting her go first, and any other women in line. Which means I either wait longer, or else simply go elsewhere. As far as public transit goes, sitting down is a trap, and again, women crowd men, flash them, work OVERTIME to get men to defer to them ... so I simply stand, almost always. If the car is super empty, then I might sit…

I was recently watching an interview with Sigourney Weaver in which she reflects on her career as an actress, and I forget the context, but some feminazi loser (worse, ugly and old) was grumbling on about men's attachment to their penises. She used the word "penis", and I thought to myself, are you attached to your breasts or your vagina? Let's talk about your attachment to your vagina. (Let's not and say we did.) How typical. Feminists today are ugly and revolting, in more ways than one.

Yes, in theory, it's possible. As a man, I used to call myself a feminist. No longer, however. Not for many years. While I am fine with equal rights, I am NOT fine with the obvious ways in which men are discriminated against in service to a female supremacist society.

As every American adult male can attest, there is no going out to do anything - exercise, get a drink, get a slice of pizza, etc. - without some fat, half naked woman trying to stuff herself in your face or view or to gobble up all the oxygen in the room. Because they are desperate to find a man to snag to support them. Having male friends gets in the way of that agenda, and so every man with male friends is, somehow, "gay"/bad. And so, pursuing and cultivating ordinary friendships as a man is d…

I like this subreddit, not just because I agree with the ideas in general here, but because most members understand that in genuinely democratic elections, voters can do many different things as a way of participating. On the other hand, you appear to be someone who needs more time in figuring out that last bit.

I'm not here to engage in argumentation or to entertain an argument with others. I'm going to say what I have to say about the topic, and that's about it. This concept of the "male loneliness epidemic" applies almost exclusively to Western cultures. Westerners pridefully brag to non-Westerners about their comfortable material way of life and how proud of themselves that they are free to take their clothes off anywhere and everywhere and do hardcore porn on Twitter and do any and every drug they …

Men who do everything with their girlfriends - jogging, commuting to work, shopping - are quite literally pathetic - behaving in a way that screams "I am weak and vulnerable" and I want everyone to know it. This is almost all young American men today. It's not attractive, but since women gain advantage in this arrangement, our feminised society applauds men like this. (Yet another reason I don't enjoy participating in social activities in the US, but that's another topic, I guess.)

LOL - making a purely intellectual argument, without providing ANY concrete, real world examples in support. FAIL. By the way, Saudi Arabia is so successful that they regularly host the POTUS, the British monarch and other world leaders - and yet, it is a state held up repeatedly by feminists as one of the worst in terms of respecting women. In that light, your argument seems like nothing more than balderdash.

If you don't give it up, then they proceed to invade your space, as if to say nonverbally that you are occupying a space that is rightfully theirs, just due to the fact of their presence in a place where there are men also. I just avoid all these games and never sit down. It's a trap.

Showing my age, Marcia Mason's character in 1977's "The Goodbye Girl" has an apartment in New York, with her boyfriend. But he dumps her, simply leaving her a note. Minutes later, she gets a knock at the door - her ex-boyfriend sublet his half of the apartment to a friend, played by Richard Dreyfuss. She won't let him in, and he won't stop knocking, it's raining cats and dogs and he has the right to his half of the apartment. She makes one final attempt to make him shoo, saying, "If you don't le…

Reddit (like most all social media and Big Tech) is headquartered in San Francisco (or the SF area). If you are sentient, you know that San Francisco is the gay capitol of the world, and everyone is gay this and gay that, and lesbians are to a large degree separatist and womyn-supremacist. So therefore, Reddit is all this, too. I mean, I'm generalizing, but it's true, in general.
