I'd like to inject some evolutionary biology into this discussion. Women select mates based on status then "strength", and then attractiveness. Attractiveness in this context means something approximating "desirability," because your attractiveness is based upon how many females you are attracting generally. Ever wondered why they tell you to go to the club with girls, even if they're only friends? You just found out. So, don't get caught up on the attractiveness. It's only one of three elements…

Yeah, you're pretty much on it. My persona is somewhat is a somewhat aloof, funny, and intellectual, so it works quite effectively for me.

Touché. However, if you can have a five minute chat with someone and appear to determine the deepest elements of their personality, they're gonna want a taste, regardless of temperature

Well, the meat is the easy part: "high maintenance" As for the bread, you've got this from the article The strangest of all may be that those who wore "uncomfortable looking" shoes tend to have "calm" personalities. So, I think you can take that to the bank, as it is statistically sound. I would also add "disciplined" or "ambitious" because any woman who can put herself through the pain of rocking that type of footwear for the evening definitely has both

I agree with the other comment here, however I will say that these small, subtle details you notice are of particular importance in an environment of enforced conformity. Any deviation from the dress code, or conversely, strict adherence to the dress code, may tell you quite a bit of information on its own. Ya dig?

It's a bit in-depth. If there's sufficient interest I'll definitely share. Edit: An Edit to the main thread has been made in your favor

A point as fundamentally true, as it is simply phrased. Seconded.

I've been contemplating deleting FB for quite some time. There's been many great posts about FB and what one of the mods calls "missed connections" meaning you can still keep in contact with missed targets from the past, and passively communicate value. Although I am souring on FB, I must defer to the mods on that one. I think FB is good for exactly that purpose, meaning "keeping the light on" As an example, I moved from CO to WA a couple years ago. Now, when I go back to see family/friends, all…

Hmmm, bold move OP. Bold move. I, also, don't give fucks about karma, so let me completely agree. I consider myself merely proficient as a PUA, meaning I can get what I want, from whom I want, when I want it, but I do not consider myself "teacher material" With that said, I am actually a rather gifted microeconomist, so perhaps this thread will indulge me while I provide a very cursory overview of two economic concepts that I think anyone downvoting OP should consider. I will then end with a mod…

Ah, that makes more sense. Open disclosure, when I started, my only goal was proficiency and that is what I feel I have achieved. It's a modest gain from a respectable and fulfilling amount of learning, but I don't want you to think I'm a master. I'm sure someone more qualified may soon offer more solid advice, and justly so I might add. So here's what I'm not going to touch upon. There's a lot of what I call "pop" psychology on this sub, and in the community in general. You're bound to get a lo…

I am hoping this one doesn't get buried, as it has been on my mind lately. Why can't I bang a girl I like? So, I have a fairly robust sex life, but I feel as though I have to find something unattractive about the chick before I am able to not gives fucks, which is central to my game. I've got a g/f (we're open) who I adore. However, other than her, and also previous to her, this has been the iron law of my sex life: Find chick who I consider girlfriend material = failure. Find chick who I either…

OP, why do you feel this is about scarcity? My inner, nerd economist is dying to know.

Here's an upvote for positivity. I recently experienced a very similar revelation, the fact that I'm now proficient, and it feels pretty badass. Don't fear it going back to the old way. NLP has a four-tiered concept to learning that basically goes like this: Unconscious incompetence(you suck/don't know it)>conscious competence (you realize you suck)> conscious competence (for my money, the most painful step, learning and eventually seeing the effort pay off)>unconscious competence (you no longer…

So, "The Red Queen" is a great book, but more for the material behind why the routines work. If you're looking for something about the inner game in terms of mindstate, Style recommends "Mastering the Hidden-Self" http://www.amazon.com/Mastering-Your-Hidden-Self-Guide/dp/0835605914 I know, I know, sounds super new-age. However, it's actually a basic primer on huna philosophy that worked wonders for me and several of the friends I subsequently lent the book to. Otherwise, I think the only honest …
