My missus had her sussed years ago when she appeared on Top Gear. Quite funny to watch the interview and compare her mannerisms to what we know of her now

The way she turns to face the jury to answer every single question drives me fucking batty.

Because all the "ToRiEs BaD" people will vote for literally anything that disagrees with Tories.

Yeah I see an ophthalmologist regularly at the moment. She just says I have to be careful and work on keeping my blood pressure down. Things like cardio I can do, so I'll get on with that

So they won't actually pop, that's just how I explain it to try and make light of the situation. You can't feel when the new vessels are going to leak, the first you know of it is when you see a big black streak in your vision. I can do light things, I can go for walks, I can do the stationary bike etc. I really do think weights are out of the question unfortunately.

Yeah sorry, bit of context needed. I'm diabetic and have some pretty bad retinopathy. The new vessels are apparently super weak and I'm worried any activity that forces blood around could cause a bleed. Things like boxing a definite no-go as I've had my retina detach twice already.

What if you can can't do any contact sports, BJJ, MMA etc or lift heavy shit because your eyes will explode of you do?

I mean, I kinda get it, my girlfriend is pretty tall and she would feel uncomfortable with a guy shorter than her. Same for short guys, I know a few who get really weird about girls being taller than them. And of course, it could just be personal preference, nothing wrong with it. The main issue is the way these women act when men ask similar questions, it's a two way street flower.

That's what I did when my ex-wife refused to sell the house. I stopped paying the mortgage, she sold pretty quickly then

I assume you're in the US, do you not have laws surrounding constructive dismissal? Whereby you are victimised to the point where you quit your job.

And I'm triggered by the McRib. Mainly because it isn't available in the UK.

Yep, Daily Mail does this. But they also find the most inflammatory comments and make out that those are the opinions of the entirety of reddit. E.g. An American posted on one of the UK subs about the full English breakfast she made for her other half and was asking for C&C. There was a huge outpouring of "just do xyz, otherwise great job" type comments. A few days later I saw the headline saying "American woman receives scathing critique for her streaky bacon, floppy hash browns, bland mushroom…

Is there a term for actively looking for something to be offended by? Because that's how a lot of people appear to be these days.

So many people are actually desperate to be triggered by something. My missus got a message on Instagram complaining that the colours she used on her post were insensitive to colourblind people. The person who said it wasn't even colourblind.

My missus is 5' 9". She doesn't so much prefer taller guys, just guys that are taller than her (this sentence makes no sense haha). I get the viewpoint of not wanting to date a guy shorter than you. But being 5' 1" and preferring 6ft is a bit excessive.

This whole vigil is bollocks. Utter bollocks. A report last year showed a woman was killed by a man every three days in the UK. Where's their vigil? It's all just for people to put on social media how wonderful a person they are. The village I live in has an email group and someone put on there that they're holding a vigil outside their front door. Like, good for you, aren't you a wonderful person, but have you done it for every other woman that has been murdered or just the ones that the papers…

My missus tried the pay for our second date, which was a meal out, because I paid for the first date, which was a beer. Definitely lucked out with her.

His missus locked him in a third floor flat. He tried to open the door but the handle came off in his hand. He had to jump from the balcony and cut all up his arm.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
