What is the point you're making?

The qualities women are looking for in a short term sexual partner are often times much different than those they look for in a life partner. Men are usually given advice on how to appeal to the latter and not the former. Happy now?

Idk, maybe I'm weird but a woman just being present is enough for me, even if she just lies there. Probably why I dont understand what people mean when they say a girl is good at sex

No one really talks about women's sexual side. They only talk about what women want in a relationship when they're nearing/hit the wall and are looking for the beta provider.

Because I hadnt thought of it, and it didnt really seem contentious to ask in the way I did

Not sure what you mean by "trolling". I'm asking a genuine question, just because I dont know what people mean when they say "men and women are equal" (because I assume people say it for different reasons) doesnt mean that I dont see the phrase used. It's usually said matter of factly without any expounding and expected to be taken as gospel, how could I know what they mean? I guess a better way to ask would be "What does men and women being equal mean?" And "Why do you believe them to be equal?…

Well, I would assume that the people who agree with the sentiment would be better for setting the parameters, and know in which way they use it.

I see it used In other ways than that, such as in people believing that Congress should reflect demographics. I asked a person who believed this, and they said that they believed that, if you removed all barriers, people of all races, genders, etc are equally qualified. But it doesnt really show, just looking at Male vs female IQ, men are overrepresented near the high ends, so it would make sense that people in positions of power are more often Male (not just politicians, but CEOs, engineers, sc…

I'm not really sure, it's a phrase I hear often. "Men and women are equal" without any expounding. so I dont really know what it means either, whatever way they mean it I suppose.

I've seen plently of feminists do both. Scream all day about toxic masculinity and call men cry baby incels for not agreeing with them

Well, That was my justification for people attacking lack of masculinity. But yes even sexual prowess and virginity, are you saying you've never see someone suggest a guy isnt getting some as an insult meant to silence him? Edit: you dont remember just recently all of those people making fun of Brett Kavanaugh for being a virgin when he was younger?

Well, I cant pull up a statistic, nor can I quantify it, I'm just going by my perception. I dont think whether or not it is increasing is really the crux of the argument, all I know is I see it very often, it definitely exists and is overwhelming, and it seems ironic that it would exist with so much frequency, even being said by the ones who are most staunchly against toxic masculinity.

Do you think it isnt?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/19 03:04 PM

To your first point, I believe it would do good, because a lot of people would actually be able to make some changes. I think that a lot of people don't really connect the dots either, especially when people are telling them the opposite is true, that looks dont really matter. They know that being attractive is better, but they dont realise it's a completely different world. To your second point, I agree, I still wish people would be more truthful about how important looks are.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/19 07:43 PM
1

Well, the thing is, I have been a horrible person to women and still gotten laid, I have told women things that could have easily come out of elliot rodger's mouth, worse than that actually. I feel like people really underplay how important looks are. When I look on r/inceltears (bluepill city), the most common sentiment there is that incels cant get laid because of their personality. I do agree that personality can definitely offset some negative traits people have and help them get relationshi…

When you ask people for dating advice, they usually dont give advice about physical appearance. People definitely can come to their own conclusions, but often times people are not told that they're unattractive in order to spare their feelings, or actually mislead into thinking they are, people saying "your looks arent the problem" when they definitely are
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/19 07:08 PM
1

I agree with that, for a LTR. It seems like being your true self cuts out a ton of options though, but if you are looking for "true love" then in the end it is helpful. For STR/ONS or just trying to get as many girls in bed as possible, it feels like being deceptive is the most effective route.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/19 07:06 PM

But why do you believe that? You're just saying that its trash without any reasoning.

I feel like most people try to display themselves in a positive light so they remove their own negative qualities and selfish motives from stories. I dont think that having problems makes you immune to privelege either. I believe everyone has problems, but some people much more than others, and some people in other facets of life than others. I do agree that it would be good to ask more people their opinions, which is partly why I made this post, I really am trying to see other people's perspect…

I dont believe people need to be aware of TRP by name to have come to the same conclusions, the same way as you dont need to know what gravity is by name, or how it works, to observe an object falling to the ground. I think that many people are actually unaware of how important looks actually are, they have an idea, but not to the full extent. If that was the case, the number one piece of dating advice would be to improve your looks, a lot of times, it doesnt even make the list.

I agree that people have their own struggles, but it makes me believe people have even more of a vested interest in misleading others for their own gain, to minimize their own pain by passing it onto others.

Well, I'm a Male, my first time was when I was nearly 21, and was with a 16 year old (legal where we were) I had sex with a handful of 16 and 17 year olds (among other ages) when I was between age 21-23, the last girl I had sex with was 18, I'm almost 24 now.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/19 03:16 AM

This is totally bs and negated by "rules one and two" just like pretty much everything else. Just look at Richard Spencer. He has a liberal gf. The last girl I fucked was a hippy liberal too, I'm not going to go into detail, but what I told her about my thoughts on women could easily be something you could find posted on r/inceltears, she still ended up cheating on her BF to fuck me. The real protip is, if you're going to have extremist views, make sure you're attractive first.

I don't think this is usually said in reference to romance What do they say it to? Part of what lead me to believe this is seeing a very highly upvoted post on reddit talking about how women thought abusive men make lazy guys be able to get away with being lazy. Basically the thought processes being "theres so many abusive men, that lazy men get a pass because women think 'well, he might be boring, and not do much, but at least he doesnt hit me, at least he isnt emotionally abusing me'"

Thanks for the advice. My problem is this, I realise that not all women are bad, but there are a lot who are. My rationale of treating women bad (by bad I mean vengeful and in my own self interest) is that, if I treat all women as potential bitches, that I will not be letting my guard down when I do meet one that is, even if innocent women get caught in the crossfire, I see negating and combating any pain I would recieve as a better alternative than letting my guard down and allowing a woman to …

Theres no covert contract, just asking them not to talk about it as a courtesy because it makes me uncomfortable , not that I am inherently entitled to it. I dont think that it's odd or weird or overly demanding in any way. If someone told me "Hey can you not talk about x, it makes me uncomfortable" I wouldnt talk about it anymore.

LMAO damn I've said this about 600 times. The standards are not the problem, i understand people wanting to be attracted to a partner. being a rude bitch while rejecting someone who did nothing to deserve it is the problem, thinking you're better than someone and treating them as lesser because you're more attractive. not the rejection itself. stringing men along for attention/favors/free dinners/validation is a problem. Being offended because a guy you consider ugly "has the nerve" to hit on yo…
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/19 09:38 PM

Because men are led to believe that looks are not that important to women. To "just have confidence" and "personality is everything". Also that "looks are subjective" I dont believe that a person's looks are a measurement of their worth. But again, this is not about being rejected, this is about being rejected in mean, hurtful, and dismissive ways that I wouldve never done to anyone else.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/19 07:40 PM

I mean, they could be nice at times, sometimes they made me feel like they cared about me, and we would joke and laugh with each other, talk a lot. I was attracted to them physically too.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/19 07:38 PM

Well. I didnt really have any other options, and they did give me a small about of validation but it was like a 10:1 ratio in their favor.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/19 07:33 PM
3

It's not about rejection, nor were all of them online. It's about being rejected in an extremely rude way and treated like I'm below them and stupid for even thinking I had a chance with them. I have had "ugly" and "fat" girlfriends before.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/19 07:18 PM

I still consider myself a loser, just a loser with a more attractive physical appearance. But I would say it's been about a year since I live been "attractive"

It's not 3 women, it was 3 women I got some revenge on. The amount of women who were shitty to me when you include online is in the hundreds.

They were leading me on for attention and validation. Giving me just enough to keep me interested. Sending me nudes, saying shit like "I could see us being together one day". Playing hot and cold games, Talking about other guys they're having sex with when I kept telling them it made me uncomfortable just to get me jealous. Things like that.

I think there are guys that do treat women badly, and that may be a big motivator for why women treat men badly, but then I think, well if that is justification enough for them, then why should I take the high road?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/19 06:24 PM
5

I have been going to therapy for a few months now, I've made some progress but everything still feels extremely raw to me, even though this has been a multi year processes so far. Logically I think I should stop, and I want to feel better, but logic isnt making me feel any less bad on the inside. It makes me feel extremely bitter that I can be a piece of shit on the inside, but look decent on the outside and women prefer that over the opposite. It makes me feel like I'm justified "you made your …
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/19 06:22 PM
2

Well, I'm trying to tell you what is the motivator for my actions. I do want to change though, but I also need to be able to come to that decision as a logic conclusion. It's hard for me to just take advice if I dont feel like it makes sense to me. Basically. I want someone to change my mind
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/19 06:18 PM

I understand that, but theres a difference between not being interested in someone and politely rejected them, and treating them like shit and thinking you're better than them.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/19 05:55 PM
3

By straight up laughing in my face, insulting me, or being overly rude and dismissive. You could see the disgust in the eyes. Treating me like I was subhuman and crazy for even "thinking I had a chance with them". Not saying all or even most were like that, but there definitely were some and those experiences stick out in my mind and were extremely hurtful
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/19 05:52 PM
10

Majority were not. 3 of them were, they were always giving me the hot and cold treatment, constantly shoving their sexuality in my face in a tone of "you wish you could have this but you cant" talking about other guys to get me jealous when I specifically told them not to, etc. Same event happened with all 3, I cut them out of my life for a long time, fixed my attitude and my appearance, slowly came back into their lives, got what I wanted. Wrote them really long hateful messages insulting them …

I want to do that, but in the back of my head I'm thinking "would they have treated me this way if I was my old self?" And the answer I come to is usually a no. And it gets me upset

1

What do you mean by deprogram myself?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/19 05:38 PM

I do it because I dont know if they realise the pain they are causing to others, I want them to get a taste of their own medicine
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/19 05:36 PM

Yeah man, that's exactly how I feel. In the past, if I was not attracted to a woman, I would NEVER be a douchebag to her about it, or feel like I am above her in any way. I would try to let her down as nicely as possible, and I would feel bad and guilty about doing it. The amount of times women have intentionally tried to hurt my ego for no reason is a big part of why I'm bitter.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/19 05:35 PM

I can see how that can happen to a woman, but I dont understand what conclusion that is supposed to bring me to. Are you saying that some of the girls treating me that way, that was the experience they went through that made them treat me that way? If so, that just makes me think "well, if they did that, why shouldnt I continue doing it?" I do understand I should have more empathy, but whenever I look at it from the other side, I dont think any of their actions are justified, I only started trea…

I've had sex with a double digit number of women. All of them I met online, I would likely be a virgin if it wasnt for the internet. I've tried approaching IRL, but either I got rejected or was too nervous to try and close, a few most likely wouldve said yes though. Definitely have gotten IOIs I didnt follow up on, but most girls "signaling" were ones I wasnt attracted to. /r/PurplePillDebate11/02/19 12:54 AM

Well, SMV would be to measure the most attractive guys they could fuck, on a reliable realistic kind of basis. Like guys they've actually had hit on them/actually fucked, because you could argue that if an average looking girl was laying naked infront of a Male celebrity and he had nothing else to do, he would probably fuck her, but that's not really realistic. RMV would be the most attractive (and I'm talking about including all factors, not just looks. Stability, personality traits etc) they c…

I agree with you. Reminds me, me and this broad I was smashing went to go see the white house. There was this muslim dude holding a sign screaming incoherent religious babble. Virgin women are the least likely to divorce, that's rationale enough for me. Even if there was no rationale behind it, it's just a preference. No different than someone preferring blue eyes over brown. No different than a woman who prefers getting spit on and called a whore while getting fucked to a woman who prefers vanilla sex. Preferences dont have to have any basis in logic, they're just things you like.

I'm not quite sure, I just have a visceral feeling of disgust. It's not something that's tangible, just a feeling. The same way a fedora and neckbeard might evoke a feeling of disgust in you

I mean. It's not the most important thing to me, I wouldnt say it's an absolute requirement, but I would highly prefer it, and it's something I'm willing to put in a lot of effort to get, to end up with less would be settling to me. Anyways, the reason why Is because I think that it is one of the most precious gifts a woman can give to a man, especially if the woman also believes that.
