I’ve seen this for a long time and even in medical care. I remember having a really stressful career and I’m still doing a variation of it. I worked network operations and other titles in banks and management would yell at you, berate you publicly, just high pressure. It was an all out an abusive environment and the company tolerated and encouraged, often actually providing, drinking. And I believe drugs were a common coping mechanism behind the scenes based on coworkers erratic behavior after a…

I just take some comfort knowing those guys time will come when they’re the “abuser”. And they go all shockedpikachuface.jpg when it does.

Staring and or acting inappropriately sexual or even creepy. And you'll almost never hear their behavior called out as creepy.

I used to tell friends etc, as much as people won't want to hear it, that a woman doesn't typically leave until she has someone else lined up. Most of us guys will just dip out if it comes to it.

I went through this. The court actually laughed and said that my receipts meant nothing, and told my ex (who is a pos) that "IF SHE SAY NO SHE GET MORE MONEY" when asked if I paid her. She said I did pay her (it was between jobs at the time). They repeated it and she still stood firm. They were so angry, commissioner and assistant DA, that they threatened me with contempt of court. Apparently for just existing. So no matter bad she is, the courts can be worse.

I personally think these things are designed to weaken/destroy the bond/foundation of societies. They are being sold a bad bill of goods.

I too am a believer in the Kinsey scale, despite there being more modern theories/scales/etc. But something I have thought about is that using two very mainstream examples. George Michael said he thoroughly enjoyed sex with both men and women. No preference one way or the other. The only reason he came to identify as gay was he said a man was the only person he ever 'fell in love with'. Then we have Freddie Mercury. Who a lot of people argue/accept/insist was actually gay. Who admittedly loved a…

I remember a guy I worked with being mad saying he was ordered to pay support to a woman that lived in his home with him, for free. Apparently that part wasn't even a factor. I personally went through it where my daughters mother tried to get child care reimbursement, to which the court said (kinda educated her on) that she couldn't ask for that if she didn't work. So she went and got a part time job waitressing 2 days a week, at a restaurant her friend was a manager at. That qualified, and I wa…

I hate the misuse of that phrase. I'm no grammar nazi but c'mon people. "So...you could care less about it? That's a good thing?". That and irregardless.

I know I've done it. I think sometimes we don't like to admit defeat or think we can fix things. I've learned more and more, you can't rationalize irrational situations or people etc.

Yeah, pretty much this. I too think, and from experience believe, that a lot of guys (from average Joes, to judges, cops etc) look for any chance to bully/f*ck over/etc another guy. It's like people looking for ways to knock down anyone who may be competition, instead of building up or bettering themselves. It to me is like that meme/saying where I want all of us to do well....and you do not....We are not the same.

Even my mother was all inappropriate for young Leonardo Dicaprio when he was underage. I found it creepy. And if I had gone around saying how hot and bothered I was for underage Lindsay Lohan I'd have been treated like a creep, and probably a pedo even though that's not what a pedo is. Gotta love the double standards.

God that article was written terribly. I think I lost an iq point just being exposed to it. I do wonder though, entrapment seems to have long ago been given the thumbs up by the courts etc. And cops were ruled by the Supreme Court long ago to be given the OK to lie. Professionally. They can tell you "I will send you to jail forever if you don't get me some weed!" and if you don't know any better, or have the backbone to stand up to them well that's apparently on you pal. But I wonder when entrap…

Well, two things come to mind. I try to treat it like the cops "Anything you say can and will be held against you". Better to err on the side of caution. That and the old joke/adage it's mostly not creepy if they find you attractive or are into you. It's shitty but sometimes they fantasize afterward about the interaction(s) and then the power (playing) gets into their heads.

I saw a bumper sticker recently that said "Forced motherhood is female imprisonment". I can't get over the fantasy world some of these women/feminists (read:feminatzis) live in.

They, coworkers and likely the company, would possibly retaliate and fire you. If you aren't an established protected class you're not as protected or safe as you may think from illegal behaviors or acts.

My last had NPD (narcissistic personality disorder) and man was she like this. She would even say things like "I felt like you said xxx". And when I'd say "I never said that..." She'd say "I know...but I FEEL like you did." Like you'd walk on eggshells for any small infraction they might pick up, or make up. But they could do anything and you're being abusive if you don't engage them, do engage them, call them out, look at them funny...you name it.

Sounds like it's turning into an agenda space like Quora. Hell even Fark isn't funny anymore. And some (maybe here) want us to pay for the privilege of being gaslit and abused.

Well written brother. Reminds me of the meme: "A womans intuition is never wrong!" ... "Way too many single mothers for that to be true."

"Take you to jail for concealing your identity". Is that legit? I imagine it may depend on the state, but wow what wording. Detain you, take you to the station while we attempt to identify you, but to flat out lie/implicate you're going behind bars? And "I heard you are a victim of xxx, now I HAVE THE POWER OVER YOU" (paraphrased) also starts off seeming crazy. I bet if it was a woman a lot, most, if not all cops would've been off their higher power abuse trip. They love repeating "take you stra…

I could've been a little more clear. Like when people of the same sex get married and people (jokingly or not) ask "Who's the Bride, who's the Groom?".

From experience they likely can. You have to fight/pay to enforce contracts the courts already put in place. And they may just say “…she was emotional” while threatening you, the hard working cash machine.

Been there. I was %70 financially liable at one point and she would send my daughter to me with old shoes that didn’t fit and her complaining of pain from it. In her words “To not waste while visiting her father.” While she had designer handbags etc.

You can’t. I went through it years ago. They call it earning potential. Whatever you made when she first filed/made the money grab is now the bar. Even if you lose a job due to no fault of your own, the economy collapses, whatever you can never pay less. And if your company closes, you lose your job due to illness etc, the payments don’t stop even though your unemployment check won’t cover it. So you can go into massive arrears in a matter of months while still paying a third of your take home w…

I had an Uber driver that I gave a bad review to, which I hardly ever do (figure people are trying to make a living). I was going to a mall, and she asked if I was going to KOP mall. I said no, that mall has gotten too much crime lately. I said "The last carjacking there was done by teenage girls that weren't even old enough to drive." She went full rage despite being on the job. I was just commenting on out of control society, and it was in the news. She turned around, full violence in her eyes…

I've said I'm not "worried" about it, I'd just appreciate a note from your Dr. Personally I'd take a lady whose had a lot of partners through relationship attempts (averaging their age and length of time etc) vs the ones who think they're better for their low count but those include married men, raw dogging high risk classless dudes in parking lots, etc. I remember when I was young a female friend told me she was a virgin. I was like oh, that's something. Because I didn't ask or care, I wasn't i…

Could be. We don't know, and neither do you. There isn't a are we dating the same woman group. Not saying you couldn't be right, but reading into things and reading out of things because they benefit your team or views don't make them safer or truly better for <insert reason here>. Of course I've learned to just ask. Not just on this, but most things.

I've had experience with women "who were lied to and abused" and they were liars and abusers. It's almost, or just plain is in some cases, just boilerplate talk for some women. It's like a card they play. For sympathy points or excusing their manipulative behaviors. If we said we were, I can imagine we'd often get looked down on. For daring say women were capable of it, for not making excuses for "why she probably did it, because she may have been a victim herself making her that way", or just c…

That's what I used to say when young (and married). If you can start it, you can finish it. But if someone else started it, that's different. Older I've found more issue having women not liking women hitting on or complimenting me, but damn near getting in the car when a guy hits on them. And then acting like wtf is my problem, they were just being friendly.

I'll add another element to this that I've gotten. Sometimes when out with friends or a girlfriend, when passing a couple, I'll get what I call the dirty once over from the woman. And it's obvious, no attempt to hide it. It reads like "How dare you be better looking than the guy I'm with".
