Easy, Right wing ideology emphasizes the value of independence and personal responsibility, which aligns with masculinity.

Women used to be more conservative than men, I wonder if that was reflected in Orwell's opinion of young women

I'm not gay but I do have some experiences with women tokenizing gay men. Some young women have a completely warped understanding of male relationships. for example, I was on the phone with my best friend's girlfriend and during the conversation I wanted to address that I felt uncomfortable with her shipping me and my friend together. That it felt like it cheapened my friendship by making my close bond with him seem romantic. She responded very defensively saying that it wasn't her intention to …

"feminism is one of the greatest ideas of the 20th century because it allowed women to examine their place in society from a distance and truly evaluate whether society's role for women is what they truly wanted. Men have not yet had such a revolution, we are still operating with the same framework we were given in the 1950s. By allowing a movement that prioritizes the issues that face men and that is primarily led by men, we won't just enable men to live better lives, but help society as a whol…

I think the idea is that the qualities that older men tend to have are the qualities that women tend to find attractive, not that older men are more attractive physically. These qualities include things like money, status, maturity.,

I always thought it was funny the stat I saw going around that 95% of accusations are true. Now I have no idea the validity of that statement, but I always thought it was weird the confidence people had in the data around these accusations. Doesn't the idea of a fake accusations sorta obfuscate accurate data collection? For all we know, maybe it's not that most accusations are true but rather that fake accusations are really hard to uncover.

As hard as it is to admit, people need each other. I don't think there is going to be some mass crisis of Chad's banging all the fertile women leaving scraps for the rest of us. I think women (like all people) want to feel desired and want companionship, so relationships are going to stick around for quite a while. But I do think we're going to connect with each other more and more over text and online forms of communication.

I got that far but like what does the rating signify? A better criticism, a more concerning claim, is it arbitrary to fit the theme

I get it. It sucks when your partner isn't pulling their weight. As men, we do need to do better. But overall I think "weaponized incomplence" is a bit dramatic and that all they really need to do is have a conversation with their partner.

Well to put it bluntly, if you were attractive before you're going to be attractive afterwards. And vice versa. I know plenty of guys who think pixie cuts are hot. There's something enticingly counter-culture about them. Just look at Natalie Portman in that snl rap. Plus the combo of being traditionally feminine but with a pixie cut could totally be a unique style that you could own.

I do not recommend psychoanalyzing your friend and then provoking an argument. Patronizing and hostility is not how you solve problems

Honestly, It might not be ideological. He might just be depressed and frustrated. And in that case he would probably need therapy but I doubt he would be receptive to that idea. But imo, I guess the only thing to really do is be upfront if he does anything out of line but give him time to open up again.

Neither are your clothes, but having a sense of style has a dramatic impact on the attractiveness of one's appearance Is it disingenuous to wear anything other than a white tee and a pair of jeans, because it might make it harder for suitors to compare your physical features relative to other potential mates?

There is no such thing as dishonest appearance. Whatever you can make yourself look like is what's considered your appearance.
