Are you talking about yourself? Because if I hadn't used brackets, the tax rate would have been 32% which would have made his taxes above $64,000. Which is wrong because tax brackets exist, which is why I posted the correct numbers. That's also with the 2019 brackets. His taxes would have been higher other years.

Filling single, with a $19,000 401k contribution, $12,000 in deductibles, you'd owe $36,000 in federal taxes. Don't you know how easy it is for people to call you out on your bullshit? On the off chance you're not lying, you better contact the IRS before they start opening your asshole.
