Well, sounds like the OP has had a very different experience.

I mean, this whole sub treats sex as the prize as far as I can tell. So, it's all a predator/prey dynamic. You evolve one strategy to get what you want as easy as possible, the other person has to evolve a counter strategy to keep their self-respect and not feel used. It's been that way since swapping genes became a thing.

Problem is, some men will stick it out a couple dates just to have sex too. If someone really finds they are being used, they should wait as long as it takes until they know the person is serious. A woman I know says she waits until she meets his friends and coworkers. Seems reasonable, because you gotta be real scummy to string someone along through all that just to get laid. And, yeah, if someone isn't willing to wait, that's their choice. Everyone should just part ways.

This guy kinda nailed it. Most men will have sex with most women just because. By saying "I'm not looking for anything serious," they are literally telling you they don't really want you, but are happy to have sex with you as long as you aren't a problem. The best way to deal with this is literally don't have sex with a man unless you have established a committed relationship. As soon as a guy says he isn't looking for anything serious, just walk away from that situation. It's not your job to tr…

Well, there's a possibility she didn't know. But, two wrongs don't make a right even if she did. Being petty and knowingly spreading an STI because you hold a grudge against one person is despicable.
/r/seduction11/10/20 03:36 PM

Also, you should be informing any sexual partners you are with from now on that you have genital herpes. They have a right to know and decline to have sex with you, especially because condoms are not as effective as they are for the other STIs.
/r/seduction11/10/20 04:13 AM

Ma'am, you literally said "I call bullshit" and gave no indication you could foresee any scenario where a woman continues a date with a man she is uncomfortable with. And, no, not everyone knows women feel unsafe in many different situations. Also, how could I possibly know you grew up on the streets and considered this? Not everyone has had the same experiences. I figure perhaps you were one of the lucky women who has never encountered this scenario. This is why people are here, to discuss the …
/r/seduction08/10/20 01:02 AM

I gathered that you were also a woman, yes. I was just saying, you couldn't understand why a woman would do that when you said you'd have no problem walking away when you wanted to. So, I thought I'd provide an alternative, logical theory for people here to consider.
/r/seduction08/10/20 12:40 AM

Just an FYI, this is something a lot of women are taught. You don't know how a man will react when you reject him, especially when you have lost the safety of being in public. She deescalated by suggesting continuing the date in public, where she felt safer ending it.
/r/seduction08/10/20 12:30 AM

You spend a lot of time thinking about how YOU feel about interactions with women, and that's the only accusation I'm making. I speak from personal experience where men have followed me after hitting on me and made me feel unsafe. Having it happen once is enough to put a woman on guard when guys like you ask if you can come shopping with me after I've already indicated I'm not interested. You need to understand that what you consider "confidence" is going to be considered creepy to 20 others. Yo…
/r/seduction18/08/20 06:20 PM

She probably wanted to make sure you didn't flow her. Dudes will follow you and harass you. Maybe she was lying about going shopping and was really headed home, but just wanted to stay where she felt safe until you walked out of sight. I've certainly done that. It's not someone's obligation to have to get up and leave where they are because someone is making them uncomfortable. It's your job not to harass people when they tell you no.

Exactly, it comes down to how much you trust the intent is really for you and not just for anyone. Anytime some guy starts of a conversation with me by directly complementing my looks, I just assume he does that 40 times a day with any woman he can find hoping to find some one willing to have sex with him. I can't take that guy seriously at all, I don't care how smooth or good-looking he thinks he is. So, I usually mutter a half-hearted thanks and remove myself from the situation as safely as po…

/r/seduction25/07/20 11:53 AM

In one of those scenarios, you get to live long enough to show everyone on the internet that you value your ego over a human life.
/r/seduction25/07/20 12:04 AM

Yeah, you know why? Because if she is worried you are the type of guy who is going to follow her back to her car, she can walk RIGHT back into the Starbucks and plan a better escape. I had a guy cold approach me in a parking lot of my work when I worked late one night, and it was terrifying. There is safety in numbers. "Men are afraid that women will laugh at them. Meet for dinner in public, somewhere you can sit down and talk. Do not, for any reason, suggest going back to her place or your place on the first date. I don't care how well the date is going, don't do it. It's an immediate red flag.

Definitely never approach a woman on an empty street. Indeed, we feel safer with other people around. We are also usually going somewhere, and not looking to stop and chat. Also, never bother anyone with headphones in. It's the universal signal for "do not talk to me." Never hit on a woman when she is at work. She is trapped and forced to be nice to you. Finally, even at a bar or restaurant or anywhere else, if the woman at any time in the conversation says any version of "No thanks, not interes…

As a women of 5'10,' I'd say the same proportion of women who insist a man be 6'0' and over is probably equal to the number of men who want a woman to be under 5'7.' And, yes, I've had men indicate I'm "too tall" for them. People have preferences, nothing much you can do about it but be the best version of yourself you can be. I've dated men of all heights, and I actually like being about the same height. You can hold hands when walking with ease, and no one gets neck strain kissing anyone.

My reasoning was different, yes. But, being scared and choosing not to do any elective medical procedure is also up to someone's discretion. That's their right.

I'm not missing the point. Birth control is absolutely something that people should both consider. You can, and probably should, end a relationship with someone who isn't doing what they sincerely can to help. I agree that if a married couple want a better, permanent form of BC, and the man is happy to have the vasectomy, that's ideal. But, in the end, you can't tell someone what to do with their own body. Hopefully, FDS helps women find good men who will offer to do it instead of having to even…

sigh I'm going to have to say I disagree, and for a few reasons because I have actually been in this situation before. I wanted a tubal ligation. I did not want to have natural children for many reasons, including a health reason that unfortunately not all doctors take as seriously as I do. I had to go to a few doctors before I could find one willing to do it. All the other doctors said basically the same thing, "well, why doesn't he just get a vasectomy, it's easier?" Me, "why are you pushing t…

No offense OP, but this is a good reason why you should never go to someone's house on a first date/ first meeting. He could have gotten aggressive towards you, and now you are away from the relative safety of being in public and also in his territory. Honestly, guys will make up a lot of excuses to get you to their place. Not saying his dog wasn't sick, just saying that in general. Even if a date is going well, and he needs to "swing by home" or whatever, don't go. Say you'll wait where you are…

Alternative theory. I hear from a lot of guys about how "one day I want a wife and family." Not, "I want to find love and happiness." And, they all coincidentally seem to find this wife somewhere between the ages of 30 and 37. It made me start to wonder if the woman herself even mattered. Like, a guy knows he wants to finally get himself the status symbol of a family, so he marries the first agreeable woman to come along during this time frame. So, some guy dates tons of girls "casually" for ove…

I would say if you have good evidence, (screen shots of texts, etc.) Do it. I had a similar situation where a particular awful ex of mine was cheating left and right on his GF, and everyone in the social circle knew about it, but no one would tell her. I didn't want to know, but you know how it is, everyone always wants to tell you about your ex, even if you don't ask. I taught a genetics class that was required for pre-med majors, and it was only ever the men asking "why do I need to know this? This isn't that important for the field I'm going into." It was utterly frightening to me how many of my doctors might have had that attitude. As though being well-rounded in science as a whole is bad, but worse, not understanding how important GENETICS is in medicine. Indeed, I always got a feeling of some people liking the "prestige" more than focusing on what the ca…

I could see this confusing a lot of women. There was a time when it was polite and expected that a man would pick you up from a date. I could see guys using that as an excuse for why it should be fine. "Oh, men used to pick women up all the time. With this virus, that's how it will become again, so we can keep you safe, blah, blah." No. It was dumb then, it's dumb now. Don't do it.

Keep that mentality up. They pointed out the crux of their strategy relies on their assumption that women are going stir crazy for dick (lol), and will do things they wouldn't normally do. The strategy includes face timing to show how clean your house is and to say you haven't been near any people, and of course have another activity ready that can be done at your place to get them to come over because they will be so starved for company. They are basically preying on desperate loneliness to get…

Mates look for different things, you know. You have to keep in mind, sincerely, that men pick women too. You are not out literally trying to have sex with any woman you see. Women also have to put in some kind of effort to attract a man. Think of how variable personalities and sociability levels are in women. The reality is, sexual selection in humans isn't an easy game of rock, paper, scissors or even rock, paper, lizard, scissors, Spock. It's 4D Magic the Gathering. There is no one way to be t…

1) Can't speak to it exactly. First, don't listen to people spouting about caveman crap. As a species we have an approximate 50/50 ratio of men to women and are a quasi-social species that practices serial monogamy. In other words, men and women have to impress each other, and people get nervous when being judged. It's pretty simple. 2) Humans practice "social Darwinism" now more than survival Darwinism. Condoms won't protect you from HPV.
/r/seduction16/04/20 09:38 PM

Well, in truth, I'm sorry your doctor didn't make it very clear. In all honesty, I'd get another doctor. Also, sorry about poor reproductive health classes. HPV lives in skin cells, not genital fluids, which is why condoms won't protect you even if it covers a wart. The whole area is active with virus, not just the wart. And, while the virus is MOST active and likely to spread with an active outbreak, it can still be passed on without one, or most likely before one. If people only had to not hav…

"This is the last possible issue that I could have imagined myself dealing with at this point in my life." First of all, I'm not sure why you are saying that considering what you claim as your sexual history. Did you think you were immune to STIs? Secondly, no, not everyone has a form of herpes or genital warts. And, yes, it can spread even without a condom. Lastly, sit and think about what you are going through right now. How it feels. The cost to see a doctor. The effect on your social life. D…

Hey, we shouldn't advocate for anyone to destroy other people's things. We don't want that kind of abuse, we shouldn't wish it on others. People just need to leave.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy15/04/20 03:57 AM

Well, if I take into account my other females friends experiences too: about 95% absolutely do not want to be approached at either their work or on a street walking somewhere, ever. It's immediately off-putting. If you see a woman in headphones, leave her alone. That's how every woman feels. She doesn't want to talk to anyone. Oh, God. I have no respect for any scientist who uses the word "proven" even in a media publication. That's a no-no in science. From what I can tell about him (the author), he is absolutely no expert in epigenetics. And, there is no data to suggest X chromosome inactivation is linked to any cell types. Additionally, we don't have a SPARE X in case one breaks. You have 1 X used by a cell, and the other is inactive. Take a look at a calico or tortoise shell cat. The colors indicate which Xs are ac…

Not every high value male is going to be the one. Besides them being a good person, you also have to be attracted to them. It's one thing to lose interest in sex for a bit, but it's another to know you dread it with someone. Like you said, over time, you realized you don't seem to have the same intellectual interests, which probably means you are running out of things to talk about. Your high value man should interest you. I had a guy like this once, and I chose to end it. As someone who was hel…

To be fair, that's just a ridiculous interpretation of the science of X chromosomes. I'm a geneticist. Our extra X chromosome isn't even used, and only small snippets occasionally get transcribed off the barr bodies. There is evidence to suggest we differentiate between a few more wavelengths of color better than men because color vision is carried on the Xs, but any genes that used to exist on the X that truly required 2 copies to make enough of a necessary gene product were lost during the evo…

I've honestly never known religious men to be any different in terms of watching porn and doing everything else atheist men do; I just can't stand the hypocrisy of the Christian men doing it but continuing to do things their religion says is wrong.

My parents were atheists that came from different religions, so we didn't really have any religion growing up. The first and only time I ever dated someone who was the kind of Christian who actually goes to chuch, it was pretty damn insane. He literally lived in a house on the same street as his parents, which sort of freaked me out. We'd been together a few months, and when he would spend the night, he'd always get up and leave at like 6:00 am. He always had somewhere to be. Finally, I told him…

Maybe, but that's secondary to actually telling her. I imagine most people not wanting a relationship aren't going to spend a lot of time with a casual hook up. But, regardless, you should say it out loud so there is never any confusion.
/r/seduction10/04/20 03:12 PM

I wouldn't call that obvious. People's relationship experiences are different, and not everyone is going to recognize some vague amount of communication and sex as clearly something casual. He should tell her before sex if he is not looking for a relationship so that the woman has the choice to continue with someone who isn't interested in the long term. Anything less is unethical.
/r/seduction10/04/20 01:01 PM
2

Well, you could be an adult and tell her immediately you aren't looking for a relationship (you don't even have to say anything about sex) and accept/respect the fact that she may not want to continue seeing you. Then, you are freed up to keep looking for a girl who also just wants something casual as well. Any other tactic of "getting close, but not too close" is just a vague manipulation used to make people feel better when the other person gets hurt. "Well, I mean, I only text her once a day …
/r/seduction10/04/20 12:58 PM

You are talking about a substance that impairs someone's judgement and ability to make rational decisions. Regardless of how you feel about it, the law thinks it's a pretty bad idea. And, admitting you need someone to be dumbed down to have sex with you is really just sad and creepy.
/r/seduction08/04/20 04:53 PM

"If this girl I know took a date rape drug wants to have sex and I also take the date rape drug too, that means it's not rape anymore!" That's what you sound like. Specifically targeting "drunk" women because you know they are easier to manipulate is unethical, predatory, and yes, probably going to result in a rape charge. If you can't get a woman to have sex with you sober, that says everything about you as a person.

Different hobbies impress different people. I'm very into crafts and woodworking, so anyone who can help with/complement those skills I have always been very attracted to. I don't necessarily think that makes me "smarter" than him, except perhaps in my own field. His career goals simply didn't require continuing his academic education. /r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/04/20 12:11 PM

Well, you may not call trying to convince a girl that her concerns over going home with you are not valid "arguing," but I do. When a woman says no, that should be the end of the conversation. Because of this, like I said, it's gotten to the point for some women that a man even asking or implying it could happen is an automatic red flag that immediately turns them off from that person.
/r/seduction03/04/20 11:16 AM

I'm sorry, but I was having trouble following what you were trying to say. But, first and foremost, it's unsafe for anyone to go home with anyone on the first date. Second, the point I was trying to make is that even if some guys genuinely want to get to know a girl and they just happen to hook up on the first date and they become the loves of each other's lives, that scenario is the exception to the rule. If I saw equine tracks in the dirt, I'd be on the look out for horses, not zebras. People …

It's so we'll understood at this point that men will try to get first dates back to their places with all these variations of behaviors, that a lot of women are immediately shooting men down permanently for even suggesting leaving the safety of public spaces. It's understood that this is a behavior they do over and over again, and you are made to realize real quick that you aren't special, you are just the next mark.

We really clicked, and no one seemed to really care or notice. The older you get, the less the gap matters. We'd basically done all the same stuff in life: college, jobs, etc. I didn't feel like I had to train him. If someone is good to you and they want you, let them want you. So, what you are saying is this a pattern you are okay with. He has sex with you, goes back to his ex, breaks up, lather, rinse repeat. And, it's okay, because he should expect the same from you. Well, if everyone is happy with always wondering when is the next time the cycle gets to begin again, I guess go for it. Every time he goes somewhere without you, you get to wonder if he decided he wasn't happy with you and if there was some girl there he could mess around with to confirm his feelings. …

"He said that he is in the process of breaking up..." Girl, he cheated on his girlfriend with you. You are broken up, or you aren't. Even if, EVEN IF, he breaks up with his girlfriend and decides he finally wants to be with you, this is how he chooses to behave in a relationship? When he breaks up with you, you'll get to enjoy wondering who he slept with right before breaking up with you as a way of solidifying his choice. You made a mistake, but you don't have to keep making it. You should walk…

Your not listening. I have no children. I will never have children. I will work as much as any childfree male counterpart. But because it is perceived that I am capable of having children, I am already at a disadvantage to getting a job. That is NOT a personal choice. Economics is the "what." Sociology is the "why." Maybe you don't care if people don't have children anymore. Congrats, I'm in that boat too. But, if people like Paul Ryan want women to have more children to grow the economy, their …
/r/seduction14/03/20 01:26 AM

Not true. It's not economics; it's sociology. It's associated with the lack of transparency for what jobs pay and the implications of women possibly having children. Women are conditioned to not haggle, and it puts them at a disadvantage when negotiating salaries. Starting low keeps you lower than others. Fields that were previously dominated by men that become more populated by women generally lose earning power over time. Also, yes, women generally get stuck with the brunt of childrearing and …

I used to be accused of "flirting" with people when I swear to God I was just chatting and making small talk. I like people. I'll talk to damn near anyone. Then I hear a phrase that rang so true to me, I hold it in my heart: I'm not flirting with you, I'm trying to establish myself as the funniest person in the room. If people think I'm flirting, that's their problem. I don't say anything to anyone I wouldn't say to my grandma.

I think there is a 99% chance you will at best insult her, and at worst scare her. I suggest if you REALLY just must show any kind of "romantic" intent, just try to ask her out on a date. Don't try to have sex with her right there. Like, Jesus, why isn't the girl worth a damn date?

Someone is your friend, or they aren't. A guy who is only nice to you wanting to be more isn't in the friendzone, he put you in the sex zone. I was in a financially abusive marriage where I wasn't allowed to work and was given a small amount of money to buy groceries and such for the week. I'm an American. Also, I said "many" women. There are some women who are better at casual sex than others. There is a saying, "women don't have one-night stands; they have failed auditions."

Here's the deal. I woman who is willing to go to your or her place on a first date has no concern for her personal well-being. Frankly, it's unsafe for men too, yet many men seem to make this a goal. So, what kind of mental state do you think a woman has to be in to disregard their own person safety for the sake of intimate personal interactions? Sapphires, emeralds, and rubys are all pretty strong stones (basically the same rock with different minerals that give them different colors). As strong as a diamond? Not quite, but I'm not trying to grind things up or cut glass with my ring. These are good stones in my humble opinion. They can take a beating. If people like diamonds, that's cool. It's time for some new traditions. The diamond ring thing is a scam made by the diamond companies (hear me out before the downvotes). That's not to say we shouldn't have lovely rings we want, this is to say that this stuff USED to be decided by the couple together. Proposals usually didn't have rings in the past. Minimizing career sacrifice is impossible if you take off from work to have a child. I learned in a sociology course that a woman will lose 7% of her lifetime earning potential for every child she has. The best you can do if the marriage ends is to get alimony for the years you were the "at home support" system, and try to live comfortably as you build back up a career. I had to do that after after my ex wouldn't let me work for 5 years during our marriage.

Old school Latinas would hit you back then go get their girl friends to come beat you with their chancletas. You went way past machismo to full on physical abuse. I don't know any of my girlfriend's that would tolerate that. And, yeah, they tell at men who bother them, loudly and proudly.

Men aren't just "sitting and being happy" if they are out trying to get women, right? Sure, if you are a total hermit, enjoy being a hermit. But, don't be mad if a woman sees that and think, "Oh, so I guess it will always be my job to make sure guests are comfortable." 🙄

Absolutely not. Sometimes when people get heated, they can get louder. But, name calling? They way I was raised, if you resorted to calling someone a bad name during an argument, then you lost the argument. I was dating a dude once who got mad at me and called me a whore. I was so stunned. I just calmly replied back, "I do not accept money for my services" and walked out. He tried to tell me that just how he was raised, and his parents who have been "happily married" for years call each other na…

It's a brave new world, and lots of women are now earning more money than men. I did briefly date a man who turned out to be ridiculously wealthy. I was comfortably middle class. I, personally, prefer to pay my own way too. But, he kept trying to do bigger and better things, and when I told him I didn't want to do that because I stick to a budget, he would just buy the tickets or whatever but anyway as a "treat." Yeah, no. He wasn't listening to what I needed. I ended it. If he had just been coo…

Well, to be fair, if every guy is hoping you think they are cute and can get a goodnight kiss, they'll always do it. One guy isn't really creepier than another for trying regardless of looks. Like I said, I never liked to kiss on the first date, but not because I think it's particularly inappropriate. I discovered I kinda knew if I liked a guy based on how much I think about him after a first date. I suppose it's a pretty delayed response. And, kissing someone I wasn't sexually attracted to felt…

In some cultures, cheek kisses are common. So, I would often try to go for that too on a first date, as it's common where I live. But, yeah, a dude who is trying to "sneak" lip contact will not turn his face like a polite person should. I had to start fighting instinct to go for a cheek kiss and making sure I turned my face as far to the right as I could when giving a hug goodbye because I got tired of that crap. If a dude wants a mouth full of my hair, that's on him.

I have been on dates with many nice men. Many well-meaning men who seemed to like me a lot. But, if the chemistry isn't there, it just isn't there. Like people say about "nice guys:" nice is a default. It's a bare minimum expectation of how to behave toward another human being. Nice people are good people, they just might not be the right person for you. You don't need to feel awful for not liking every nice man who comes along.

If a parking lot is very crowded, my husband always asks if I'd like to be dropped at the front so I don't have to take a long walk. I'm not particularly fragile, it's just that Florida gets hot, and when I get sweaty I get cold indoors. It's a sweet gesture (possibly in his favor so he doesn't have to hear me complain about being cold, but I'll take it.) 😊

For every one of you who thinks your game is good, the 100 others who are trying it are creating a pattern that women pick up on. It was sort of half-sarcasm, but sure. Indeed. I suppose a guy could smile and wave and hope a girl comes over? Better than cat calling. Honestly, that's not ideal either though. That's also a thing people do to try to kidnap you. It's advisable of people want directions from cars to shout at them and not get within 10 feet of the car. Frankly, I don't know a relaxed or good looking enough man I would make me get closer to his car to talk to him. It's all just unseemly.
/r/seduction21/01/20 08:43 PM

My dude, it's called a date. Some people like to meet other people first in a safe location to get to know them first. Sometimes, and I know this is a shock, they even do this a few times before attempting to have sex with them. /r/seduction21/01/20 06:29 PM

I'm glad she said no to your place. Any person who goes to someone's place for a first (blind) date has no sense of self preservation. That's just dangerous. You going to instantly turn off many women by asking them to come to your place first. It's a total red flag. You should always try to meet first in a safe public place, and if you are ballsy enough to try to get them back to your place, fine. But, seriously, no one should ever do this.
/r/seduction21/01/20 05:36 PM

Please don't. As a woman, if a man pulled over in his car and approached me, I'd probably run in the other direction. That's what people do when they go to kidnap you. Just roll down your window and cat call so they can respond (probably with ignoring you or a rejection because that is also awful but at least less frightening than someone pulling over and getting out of the car to try to talk to you).

Makes sense if you do that. But, I've never been good at being attracted to multiple men at one time. So, since my brain wants to do it one at a time, I never wanted to waste too much of it.

It got brought up in the r/seduction too. Got in a couple spats with some idiot misogynist who is clearly an incel but claimed to have a wife, lol. I don't think every FDS strategy will work for every woman, but figuring out what rules you need to get what you want out of a relationship is absolutely vital. They are just mad we all found each other and it's easier to spot the LVMs now. It's 4D chess, ladies, and we are protecting our queens like champs!

I get the 90 day thing, I really do. But, I'm not sure I would ever want to invest that kind of time into liking someone just to find out the sex is the God damn worst. I definitely believe some kind of commitment, for sure. We should all do what is comfortable. But, there is a saying I fully believe in: "women don't have one night stands, we have failed auditions."

Yeah, I think the rule is supposed to be half your age plus 7 or something (assuming everyone is legal age). I'm 6 years older than my husband, but the age gap isn't noticable at all. When I was 30, I could never have been with a 24 year old. When I was 34, his being 28 didn't seem so bad.

Definitely take your time. I was in a similar situation where I left one abuser just to jump into a relationship with another abuser. You definitely need have to be careful with love-bombing. You left a situation where someone was so awful to you you end up thinking the other person is a life raft when really that ship is getting ready to sink too. Everyone on here has different circumstances and is basically trying to avoid the same mistakes. For me, that was not getting married too fast again,…

My motives were to take care of my body and make sure everyone was STI free. BTW, he was okay with waiting too. He also takes sex seriously, and didn't even want to kiss on the first date. It's more like WE chose to wait 2 months. Power dynamics, lol.

I think it's the perfect example of a predator/prey dynamic. As you said, some guys use all sorts of manipulation tactics to get laid. Those women use all sorts of manipulation tactics to avoid being used for sex and degraded as a second class person in their relationship. It's all a "game," right? I think the advice they give women is very acceptable depending on the situation. Yeah, but there is too much variance in accounting for each person's perception of beauty. Even if you are going to make the very hotly debated "symmetry = beauty" argument, you can't assume everyone is capable of discerning minute details of symmetry. When I was getting to know my husband, we used to dare each other to sing particular songs at karaoke each week. It was a fun way to be ridiculous and gave us a chance to hang out and get to know each other.

Touching people's waists is absolutely sexual and inappropriate without permission. I don't know any man besides my significant other that would ever touch my waist without expressed consent.

It's not my place to say. I'm not a citizen of the UK.
/r/seduction10/10/19 10:09 PM

Good. I'm glad the UK is taking unwanted touching (aka assault) seriously. I wish the US would get on board with this. Don't want to get a speeding ticket, don't speed. Don't want to get arrested for assault, don't touch people without their permission. It's pretty easy. Sorry of your "game" isn't good enough that you think you can't attract a woman without pawing at her.
/r/seduction10/10/19 03:26 PM

Back in the day, women couldn't own property or vote. Preaching to women about "quainter times" isn't gonna win you this argument. Keep your hands to yourselves, kids.
/r/seduction10/10/19 03:22 PM

He blocked a girl's path, and only said the word "stop," the reached out and touched her. He did this twice. That would also scare the hell out of me. That girl was within her rights to report such behavior.

Google voice numbers are very useful for this reason. You can cancel them immediately and get another one if someone tries this. I did get one guy once who got all bent out of shape when he realized I had given him a google voice number and not my "real number." As far as I'm concerned, that's a red flag I'm happy for a guy to wave early on.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/10/19 01:25 AM

Are you suggesting someone pursue someone who is actually in a committed relationship by manipulating them into think you aren't trying to do so?

He was arrested for acting in a threatening manner. Cornering girls alone in Ally's, following them and harassing them as they try to walk away, and one woman testified that he grabbed her by the back and face and tried to kiss her. That is assault.

If you think that is too curt, I think maybe something like smiling and saying, "fair enough. I hope I didn't disturb you, and maybe you feel a bit flattered. I hope you enjoy the rest of your day." You can end the conversation there. It shows you 1) understand that talking to a stranger is a bit off-putting to anyone, 2) you do hope she takes it as a compliment, and 3) harbor no hard feelings towards her because she isn't interested. If more men who I turned down acted like that, I would be muc…
/r/seduction28/09/19 04:37 AM

Because sometimes you enjoy the company of someone when you aren't sexually attracted to them. I think people called them "friends."

I disagree. Perhaps someone will read my interpretation of the situation and realize that treating a female co-worker that way can be construed as sexual harassment in a work environment.
/r/seduction24/09/19 08:13 PM

Well, as many women who find this sub realize, a lot of men here are encouraging other people to engage in activities that are, at best, harassment. In this case, I spotted a post indicating that the person thought it was a good idea to treat a female coworker in a way that is inappropriate. Maybe that guy (and others who read this) didn't realize this, so I told him. Why are you so upset that someone is trying to help people parse out what is and is not appropriate behavior in the workplace?
/r/seduction24/09/19 04:07 PM

Human resources and the U.S. government when I file a lawsuit against the company. That's who.
/r/seduction24/09/19 11:33 AM

I would argue "blocker" is a common colloquial term for someone who is getting in the way of two people hooking up. "C**k blocker," in essence.
/r/seduction21/09/19 11:49 PM

Short for Human Resources. Most large companies have a department that handles employee complaints against other employees. In this case, I'm referencing a sexual harassment complaint. You should never comment on another employee's romantic life.

He's not a random guy, he's in her class. As a person who teaches undergrad classes, we suggest that if people are comfortable with exchanging contact info with a classmate to do so in case they need something. Seems to me she is comfortable enough to give a classmate her number, possibly be friends, but made it clear she has a boyfriend as is not interested. It's the same thing I would do in her position.
/r/seduction19/09/19 12:19 AM

Nothing says, "this guy really cared about me" like asking if he can still at least have sex with you after you break up. Girls do not want to downgrade to FWB after a break up. It's insulting. A girl who breaks up with you definitely has no interest in that. I doubt a woman would have stayed with you as long as 3 months if the sex was particularly bad. So, perhaps take some time to personally reflect on your own personality and actions as a person to determine how you are turning these women of…
/r/seduction17/09/19 12:55 AM

I'm not gonna lie to you. It's possible she didn't enjoy the sex. My friends and I have a joke, "women don't have one night stands, we have failed auditions." If a guy can offer us what we are looking for in bed, we at least consider keeping him as a FWB. I have definitely had a few failed auditions in my past. I usually found a nice excuse never to do it again.
/r/seduction15/09/19 10:02 PM

It's instinctual to look away. I think if a woman were interested, she'd instinctually look back to get another look. Assume that not looking back up is an indication of disinterest.
/r/seduction15/09/19 09:39 PM

That is an excellent question. I have been thinking about it for like 10 minutes. The answer to that is, I just can't see that happening. It literally has never happened in my entire life. I have never seen a man so appealing I decided to send him some signal to talk to me while walking. I generally walk alone to get somewhere, and I'm uncomfortable with the idea of being stopped on my current trajectory so even the most amazing looking of men can talk to me. But, in the off chance some woman wo…
/r/seduction15/09/19 07:58 PM

Do unto other's as you would have them do unto you. You are right to feel bad about that. You would not like to have feelings for someone and have them use you for a selfish reason. You should be honest with her, and move on to a girl who either A) you do want to be with in a relationship, or B) you are willing to make clear to that sex is what you want out of the relationship and not to expect more than that.
/r/seduction13/09/19 06:15 PM

"If the game is done right, the woman shouldn't know she is being gamed." That's the difference between politely chatting with someone (a genuine interaction) and being manipulative. Also, we can tell the difference between someone hitting on us vs someone who is just chatting with you to pass the time standing in line or something. I used to like to be that person. But, once most those interactions turned into a man becoming flirty, I stopped being that person. I wear headphones and play a game…
/r/seduction12/09/19 11:14 PM

I mean, I get there is some pay off for now, but I think you underestimate how much this strategy turns off every other woman who sees it happening regularly. I found this forum to ask a question a while back about 2 weirdly similar cold approaches in a short amount of time. I've come to the conclusion there must be some kind of "group" operating on the campus where I work. The more you people do this, the more it's going to turn off all women who hear about it. You are practicing manipulation t…
/r/seduction12/09/19 09:42 PM

Right, that's the weirdest part for me. Every time a guy "cold approaches" me my first thought is "how many women do you do this to?" This is not how I have ever met any of my significant others. There is no amount of "hot" that has ever made me interested in giving someone my number within 5 minutes of meeting them. Do these guys think most women think like this? I've seen the questions on this forum. These guys talk about girls as numbers, "I was talking to this 9." You think I'm number rankin…

I'm going to say kudos to those women for not being too intimidated to keep looking where they are going than trying to avoid contact. If she doesn't look directly at you and hold eye contact for a solid second and give you a genuine smile, she is not interested. Most women do not want to be "cold approached" by men when alone and walking. It's aggressive and puts us in guard. Look at some of the posts on here. Guys will say they approach 100 women and maybe 1 will give them a phone number. I'm …

Better answer. You are right. That's the key. Accidental eye contact happens, looking away immediately is the reflex response. Looking back at them again is a conscious choice.
/r/seduction11/09/19 11:51 PM

Never. I've never appreciated being approached by random men trying to get to know me. It feels agressive. I suppose I feel more comfortable when I'm with friends and feel safer and not cornered. I met my husband at a weekly group event with friends and we were friends for almost a year before we began dating. I'm not saying their aren't girls who are open to meeting guys by chance in the street. I am saying that the girls wearing headphones, on their phone, and/or avoidind eye contact almost ce…
/r/seduction11/09/19 11:47 PM

Exactly. It's an indicator to anyone I don't want to interact with them. Walking while looking at your phone accomplishes the same goal. You can glance up to see where you are going but it gives you a reason to not accidentally make eye contact with someone. I work on a college campus, and I walk around with my headphones in my ears and playing pokemon go. Half the time I'm not even listening to music.
/r/seduction11/09/19 10:59 PM

As a woman, the reason behind 99% of women making eye contact and looking away is "I was looking at something else, accidentally made eye contact, and I'm now looking away in hopes this person doesn't think I'm interested." When walking, we look down for the same reason. We look up for a bit to see where we are going, see someone coming (almost always a man), then look down so we don't make eye contact so that they don't think we want to talk to them. Then we look up again. I'm telling you this …

I do not care if I sound like a woman. Why does this matter? Do women's opinion and thoughts not matter to you? You've pull that twice on this thread. I can only imagine you give off this energy at your place of work as well. And, if a man said to me, "I'm not a blocker" in the context of me talking to another male co-worker, that is absolutely a subtle sexual statement. I'm not saying she's upset. I'm saying I would be upset. Other women might be upset in a professional environment. You should …
/r/seduction08/09/19 02:20 PM

You were walking with a coworker. This co-worker stopped to talk to another co-worker. You kept going without a word. Upon asking why you did this by the co-worker, you indicated to the co-workers that you didn't want to get in the way of possible sex... Where I come from that is an HR violation.
/r/seduction08/09/19 09:43 AM

As a woman, I cannot truly imagine a scenario where I can ignore a man who has waved his hand in my face to get my attention while I'm sitting on a bench with headphones in while looking at my phone. Even if I know for SURE this person's intention is to hit on me and I would love nothing more than to pretend he's not standing there, I know I have to deescalate the situation as politely as possible because sometimes when you reject men they physically attack you. I have to take off my headphones,…

Indeed, it's not just to fend off men. I work on a college campus. It makes it so people handing out fliers and stuff don't try to hand them to me. It is truly a signal of "do not want to interact with anyone" moreso than just "don't hit on me, boys."
/r/seduction01/09/19 08:57 PM

No one should do this. I'm telling everyone right now. Women wearing headphones do not want to talk to men. We understand that it sends a "not open to be flirted with" signal. I don't have to listen to music when I walk around because I'm afraid to be alone with my own thoughts. I do it so I don't have to make small talk with people at all.
/r/seduction01/09/19 08:54 PM

My mood is generally pretty good until some guy asks me to take my head phones out to ask for my phone be number. As a woman who is trying not to get stabbed for rejecting someone, I usually mumble "no, thank you" and put my headphones back in. But, frankly, I want to speak up and say, "no, and I think it's rude to interrupt someone listening to something. Clearly, I'm not trying to interact with other people right now."

The only thing you can catch from kissing is mono and cold sores. I'm going to make a suggestion that is going to sound mean, but comes from a truly good place in my heart and a concern for your well-being. I do not know if you are very young, inexperienced, come from a religious family, some combo of all of those... But, I do not suggest you engage in any sexual contact with women until you study up on STI prevention and contraception. Go to Planned Parenthood, speak with a doctor. You owe it t…

Maybe you misunderstood me. Tipsy and or drunk is my way of telling people I'm not thinking straight or my motor skills are impaired. Frankly, if I tell a guy this, it's usually my lead into why I'm definitely NOT interested in in doing any activity he might be suggesting. It's a soft let down. I don't want to be mean; I want you to go away. I know many women like this. Again, I'm also a woman. Choosing to ignore what a woman is literally telling you is step 1 to a sexual assault charge.
/r/seduction21/08/19 12:29 PM

That is a saying that means "not feeling well/feeling yourself."
/r/seduction21/08/19 12:08 AM

I'm a woman. False. Utterly false. If a guy tries to make a move when I've indicated I'm not on the up and up, I'm mad. That's rapey.
