Pretty sure they have a lot of testimonials from the police attending affirming this initial reaction. 1	hi i want to learn more Yes Yes In terms of legally defined rights, I'd argue that men and women have it the same. A societal shift is what's needed i.e. a change in culture that can accommodate domestic violence support for men, better anti-suicide help etc. I'm not against using government funding or acts to achieve that though I don't think it should be encouraged (alternatives should be pushed, like the pill and IUDs) but it's a necessary evil in a lot of cases. OP: Female students want the right to wear skirts. Special privilege for female students. Boys at schools rarely get an option to wear shorts. I actually mentioned this in another comment - most cheap school shirts are super short, at least from my experience. Or maybe it's just girls wanting to break the rules, who knows? I always broke my sixth form dress code because I hated ties, so it's definitely believable that girls want to wear shorter skirts because that's what they wear outside of school, even though they know the rules. Doesn't help that most places that make navy skirts, like Primark, M&S and whatnot, make them short. Did you have to buy specific branded skirts or something? Our school only requires a blazer, which is £25 (And would cover this cost to most low-paid parents).
