I am married but my shit isn't going anywhere because I didn't marry the first gold digging skank that crawled into my bed.

Acknowledging that someone can be oppressed is not the same as stating ALL human interaction is the attempt to gain power over others. That's what Marx posits. That's why he's responsible for this thinking that ALL interactions are between oppressed and their oppressors .
/r/MensRights16/12/18 08:04 PM
15

It's a level of abstraction beyond what Marx explicitly laid out. They take his premise that all human interaction is oppressor vs. Oppressed and label men the almighty evil oppressors.

It's not a coincidence that everything they proclaim is not only wrong but the opposite of truth. It's a marxist, post-modern critical theory subversion tactic to brainwash a society until they can no longer recognize objective truth.

Of course it is but what difference does that make? I bet single mothers are doing most of the murder

I don't know, its seen as barbaric and we want to be seen as morally above those that do these things but I say if the evidence is all there and we can convict someone beyond the shadow of a doubt then we are morally bankrupt if we do not visit the harshest possible retribution on them.

I have no respect for a parent that refuses to protect their children. This woman should be pursuing the maximum possible charges against these girls. Don't worry, none of the charges will stick anyway. But maybe that would scare them enough that they'll think twice in the future.

Dismantle the military and see how long we maintain our freedoms. I don't speak for individuals' motivations but by and large they do it for more than a steady paycheck. You seem pretty delusional.

Bouncer was just hoping to score some easy pussy. I bounced for 4 years and most of my coworkers were dirtbags but I would never let one of my boys pull some shit like that.

You must have it all figured out then in your vast 20 years of life experience. It is also a job, but it is first a service to your nation and a show of pride and a willingness to sacrifice for others and for the greater good. Without the military there is no freedom. If you need that explained to you then there's no hope for you.

Except that there's nothing to fix. Why is it a problem there aren't many female programmers? Also what does consumer electronics marketing have to do with coding? Billions of people use tablets and smartphones and don't know a damn thing about coding.

What are they asking local men to do? Engage in vigilante justice? Piss on that, there are police for this reason. If I'm walking down the street and see someone trying to rape a person, sure I'll help. But I'm not starting some crusade to protect the women in my community, I expect them to be able to keep themselves out of trouble.

Title 9 is a turd. College sports programs are used as extra revenue for the school, lets not kid ourselves. If the softball field sucks its probably because no one is paying to watch college softball.

Yeah I wasn't commenting on the legitimacy of this outcome, just that its sad to see people go to jail for nonviolent, victimless crimes.

Here's what these people don't understand about equal representation. Say the population men vs women is 50/50. They think that means half of congress should be women. Well here's the reality. The ratio of men and women actually trying to go into politics is closer to 100:1. So true equality would mean that we'd have 1% of congress being women instead of the 20% or so we actually have.

I love that she even brings up hating when people assume she's voting for Hillary. "Sorry I didn't mean to assume... So who are you voting for?" "Well ...Hillary."

Of course. But I'm saying that neither of them should. An eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind.

Personally I think most cases of consensual sex with a minor (say 14 plus?) should be handled this way. No one got hurt. Unethical? Of course. Illegal? Shouldn't be.

This makes us look just as bad as victim complex feminism. Let's stick to the game plan and just keep using the facts to our advantage.
/r/MensRights16/12/15 12:57 PM
1

Well clearly, I don't even think they are in the same ballpark. I know everyone is different but I had the self awareness to know I wanted to have sex at 14 or so. If I were having sex with an 18 year old girl at that age I don't think it should be any of the state's business as long as no one is being hurt by it.
/r/MensRights15/12/15 01:13 PM
2

The accusation was that it was real rape, as in against her will. We were both in high school but yeah it would have been statutory (me 18 her 16) but it was certainly consensual from day one
/r/MensRights15/12/15 02:06 AM
11

Yeah a girl I hooked up with on and off for 6 years started telling people that I raped her at the beginning of our relationship. Pretty much everyone was like, "so why did you keep hooking up with him?". We never actually dated or lived together or anything, so its not as if I had my hooks in her in any way. Girls just seem to be so ready to throw out the rape card when they start to hate you.
/r/MensRights14/12/15 06:01 PM
10

Yeah but any physical violence just validates their narrative. What we are doing is working, slowly. Pointing out hypocrisy and double standards. Pointing out flawed logic in their ideals, this is how we sway public opinion and correct the feminist movement.
/r/MensRights14/12/15 03:48 PM

I'm glad he was resentenced but holy shit a month in jail for raping a minor? I don't even care about the sexes involved, that's just insane.
/r/MensRights14/12/15 03:46 PM

What does more women than men graduating from college have to do with title IX? Is he actually implying that there are enough men expelled/terrified of college life by this for there to be a shift in the numbers? And when is inequality ever a great accomplishment? That doesn't strike me as a good thing.

I don't recall either but I have to think not. I feel like that would be met with far more scrutiny than what's happening here.
/r/MensRights28/10/15 07:18 PM
29

Honestly its the exact same sentiment. That's the hypocrisy around that statement. Replace the word "woman" with "white" and you'd get a very different reaction. But its the same thing, "I am superficially different than Obama, that is relevant."
/r/MensRights27/10/15 05:52 PM
24

My problem with it is that it's lazy pandering while simultaneously avoiding answering the question. I would actually like to know how her administration would differ from the incumbent for because there are just so many similarities and I don't want 8 more years of the same corruption and negligence. But rather than give a succinct, convincing answer she went for the cheap applause and pretty much solidified the peoples' concern that she is just a reskinned Obama.
/r/MensRights27/10/15 02:57 PM
70

It just KILLED me when her response to the question "How would your administration differ from Obama's?" She literally replied, "I'm a woman." And she got uproarious applause. I hate this world.

What an absolute turd of an article. The woman complains that rather than having to communicate to her partner how to help her get off, she simply wants him "to care enough to ask". If your partner doesn't know what they are doing wrong then they don't know there is anything to fix. God forbid you just tell them what you'd like.
/r/MensRights20/10/15 03:41 PM

Regardless of the double standard here, I wish all drug crimes were treated similarly. No one should be doing hard time for doing drugs.

I don't think the government should have anything to do with marriage. The biggest arguments I hear for marriage are things like insurance benefits, hospital visitation, legal rights etc. But I think those are things that should be left up to us. If I'm paying for insurance I should be able to let it apply to my kids and my partner, married or not.
/r/MensRights06/09/15 04:45 AM
1

Child support has nothing to do with marriage.
/r/MensRights06/09/15 04:39 AM

This title is a bit misleading. The article mentions that she has already been charged and sentenced (albeit her sentence was a joke) she is a registered sex offender for 25 years as well. The prosecutor was just saying they weren't pursuing any additional charges in regards to her other offenses.
/r/MensRights05/09/15 10:33 AM
6

I get what you are saying. I sure as hell knew what I wanted from say 14 years old and on. But that's not the issue here, the fact is that this woman committed a crime for which, if committed by a man, the punishment is quite severe, and got a slap on the wrist.
/r/MensRights05/09/15 10:26 AM
3

The "bias" you are talking about extends to either gender. Its perfectly legal for a 20 year old girl to fuck a consenting 16 year old boy in states that allow those provisions.

It may be a part of your routine and clearly you have great discipline to maintain it, but I think you are in the upper tier. If we held every marine to your standards I think we'd have far fewer marines, haha.
/r/MensRights14/07/15 12:15 PM
3

And yet you still think 30 should be the minimum for the average marine? Bear in mind most marines have no combat duties whatsoever.

Have you ever done a pull up? 30 genuine pull ups is amazing.

My mother is a nurse, she had my older brother circumcised and, upon seeing how barbaric and ultimately medically unnecessary it was, decided not to have myself or my younger brother circumcised. She speaks out actively against it and I couldn't be more thankful that she left me intact.

I've read articles that discussed similar results. Men typically performed worse on cognitive and logic tests when in the presence of women. The results were even worse in the presence of prettier women.
