2	Is there a scientific or evolutionary reason so many women are so negative towards their husbands after kids? Womens sex drives are actually super high in their 40s so they want to bang quite a lot if they're physically healthy. Sounds like OP is missing the obvious- that this women is exhausted/overwhelmed. I've seen it a dozen times with my friends- all of the kid and household duties tend to fall more on the women, especially when the kids are younger. 6	Prevalence of the Modern Walk Away Wife Walk away wife is happening because marriage is generally an impossible set up for so many. Hey let's get hitched in our 20s or 30s (and sometimes too quickly) for the rest of our LIVES without any further contract re-negotiations in the future no matter what life experiences we have.
