It can just be a balance, thats the solution. Your corporate job sucks? Find another one that lets you fuck around even more, work on your own side business in your downtime, aim for a manageable goal of $1k a month additional income. Save your money. Invest it wisely. Work out so you feel good. Use drugs in moderation, don't go overboard. Have a solid social circle. Date pretty women. Grow old. Die, hopefully its a pleasant death. The End.

I figured this out in college. Never directly say you like them early on, but make your intentions known. Its still honest, you aren't being a coward toeing around how you feel, and women are intuitive and will pick up on it. The message will ring through very clear. Learning how to convey your emotions to women without seeming needy was a good skill for me to learn.

I used to be chubby. Now after 3 years of consistent lifting, I'm in alot better shape and can't stop looking at myself in the mirror. I get alot more attention now too.

So you were an engineer, decided it sucked, so went back to school to be a surgeon? You have more drive than 99% of society.

You know, I'm gonna go ahead and agree with you there. My aunt/uncle were never married (my uncle was sick with a chronic condition that is very costly, didn't want all those bills to go under my aunt's name as well) and they were fine. They were together for over 30 years, and were very happy together. She was faithful and took care of him until his dying day (literally). Once my uncle passed away, all those medical bills wiped and the company's had no one to go after. So it worked out there.

This is a good thing. Drug addicts should get all the help they can get. You should be bitching about the outdated practice of alimony.

There is a recurring theme on this sub that marriage is a bad thing. I know many couples that have been happily married for years, marriage doesn't come without trials, but its not impossible to do. My parents fight and yell at each other all the time. They still love each other and get along for the majority of the time. Just don't rush into it. If it doesn't happen, it doesn't happen. If it does, it does.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
