If i were single and genie offered this, i'd say no. If evil reddit fairy would curse me and my husband with this hypothetical, I'd stay.

Huh, one could even argue that the more standards checklists and expectations you ditch for someone, the more likely it is you are seriously head over heels obsessed with them. ;)
/r/PurplePillDebate30/12/25 08:49 PM

Yeah, the women interested in partying and hooking up. There is also the 'find a wife' option, but apparently that's beta and boring, so idk what do you want? A woman who has roughly a new partner once in a decade, but that just happens to be a no strings attached sex with you? How likely is that?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/25 03:02 PM

28 & 35? Is this a bait? I think majority or at least a substantial portion of 28 year old women would be fine with a 35 year old dude. This is considered an age gap?

I think it's quite normal that I don't want to be divorced for any reason? I married my husband, I love him, I hope we grow superduperold together, of course I'd be heartbroken and probably also angry af if he divorced me. I also don't want to be abandoned by my parents, siblings and pets.

Yeah, I agree, it's usually an ok-time to have a kid if you are already married and ready to do so. Even women who used to have lots of kids have done it by having them well into their 30s and sometimes beyond. Each time you see a queen/noblewomen page on wiki that had 8+ children, look up the time of birth of the last kid. Good chance its something round 38-42. So yeah, women don't magically become interfile old hags once they are 30. However it's not a great age to be if you are single, want k…

I would be ok with it as an opt-out before intercourse. You sign a legal paper you will not be responsible for any children resulting from sex with Ms. X, she signs that she's aware of it, then you can both go casual sex as much as you'd like!

No, I recovered :D I think part of the phenomenon of gay stuff for teenage girls is that is hits a developmental period when you start to get A LOT of naughty thoughts and feels, but are nowhere emotionally ready to even visualize yourself doing it with a boy. Ok, let's bring back the trauma, lol: Assholes self lubricating when horny Sperm getting out of the penis in a long, continuous way instead of ejaculation. Just a boring het lady who read too much gay Harry Potter erotica in high-school 🙃🙃🙃 You've got every right to be amused, it was pretty hilarious at times. There was one community forum with a pinned post explaining basics of how asses and dicks work, sexual education style. It was a pinned post because most of the contributors were virgin girls who were knew nothing about it and wrote most ridiculous stuff in their stories concerning male biology. 😬

I think pretty often? Depends on definition. Like many responses here, I'm in the 'sexy situations/fantasies/vibes' camp. It is often a fantasy of something/someone, so there is an object I guess, but should i desire them? Or just desire the situation to happen in some general sense? Like if my fantasy is 2 guys (not real people, just hornybrain made up guys) making out and fucking, and I don't want to fuck them, them to fuck me, or anything like that, I just feel it's hot and sexy that they do.…

I don't have any hate for age gaps, but that's asking for trouble and heartbreak. My husband is 11 years older than me, and that is already making me stressed about the future. 20+ years of probable widowhood sounds miserable. Anyway, in early 20s it would be a disaster for me to marry&have children. If the choice was I either have to do it then or never, well, I guess it's spinster time for me

Debate if reasonable, tease if not, generally it wouldn't be a big deal unless it's extreme or impacts his everyday interactions. You know, like the newly vegan that can't shut up about being vegan. If he was a friend especially, idgf unless it becomes his all personality. I view it as the same sentiment as women wanting a man to be 'their rock'. Yeah, you can read it in bad faith and argue that it means they want them not to have any emotions and coddle her all the time. But in general, people want other people in their life to solve more problems than they create. And yeah, of course, life happens, noone is a a saint, your spouse can't fulfill 100% of your social and emotional needs yada yada yada But a general desire to have someone who is your safe place, your…

I think point 2 nails it. That makes it very location dependent. A conservative women in some trad-fantasy bible belt town might be a sweet gentle rose. A conservative women in a big, liberal city is probably someone who doesn't give a fuck about offending people and giggles internally when the gasp in horror at her opinions. Higher chances she'a an opinionated bitch if she didn't give into peer pressure. And conservative men usually have some opinions about femininity that don't make dating Ayn…

I don't think so, at least with the cheating revenge fantasies. However what I think happens is that a lot of men, maybe more in conservative men, as they tend to like the gender roles more, like normie women. Women who are like most women (but maybe a bit prettier ;) ) Agreeable, a bit conformist, with typical girly interests, going with the flow, etc. And in lots of places that skew more liberal, those are liberal women. In an environment where 90% people are liberal and conservatism is seen a…

I live in Europe and it's mostly fine. I read stories about US and it seems a bit to puritan for me, but I don't know if it's a representation of reality or just the algorithm feeding on drama. The level of nip freedom I like: - Breastfeeding is not a big deal. Wtf is "it all"? If it is like a executive level position, multiple mansions and great family life, then yeah, but most men can't either. Welcome to capitalism. We can't be all 1%. But a job/career that makes you self sufficient alongside a family? Lots of people do it. You propose it in a weird sequential manner, like first get to 100% financial goals, then start dating at 40. It would be as absurd as to suggest a man cannot be both rich and in good shape, because by the time you reached your m…

I don't think they suck in general. I'm a woman, lol. But this trait /tendency sucks, both for them and people around them. When you are super nonconfrontational you end up taking a lot of shit from others. But it also makes you more insincere, not a saint. What I jokingly pointed out, is that it's probably testosterone related, and being more aggressive has also an ugly side on a populational level. No, having hobbies that are more men dominated if you really enjoy them for their own sake is an incredible boost to attracting men. I don't recommend faking it, but it's like a guy who is a great dancer. Abundance of opposite sex attraction. I'm into shooting and fencing, and if I could give away guy prospects I wouldn't have any single friends, lol. Stop dating guys from whatever podcast.

Considering the fact that brain governs body parts and is subject to hormones, and there are parts that as a sexed species we have only in one gender or the other, it is not surprising to me that there are distinct male and female brain patterns.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/24 08:08 PM

Well, yeah. It is true for most normie girls. Girls that go to college, have friends, parents who support them, a cat with a silly name. They operate in this modern paradigm and want a boyfriend to hang out with. But there are also poor girls, foster home girls, dabbled-in-prostitution girls. And because their basic needs are not met, the stability could be worth it for them both emotionally and in a pragmatic way.

Well, that's complicated. I'd rather not have 3+ kids and be the main caregiver forever, if that would be what he wants, that would be just incompatible lifestyles. I would not mock him for that, but doubt we could make it work. If it's more of a normie 'let mum stay a few years more with the kiddo or two' situation, well, let's talk and see if we can make it work. Do we live in a low cost living area? That depends on the situation and the legislation (aka default prenup) of the place I live. I am married and where I live the pre-marital assets stay with the original owner and it's not easy to co-mingle them unless they are cash put into joint bank account (so one spouses' house generally stays theirs even if they lived there together, even if their value is higher now, and even if they did some renovations etc, in extreme cases the other spouse might be awarded a portion of the invested money…

I've picked splendidly :) One way to do it, is just pick from the group of men who is already showing interest. And give various openings for them to show interest. Yeah, the pool is smaller, but it's imo better if the biggest funnel drop off is at the first (or even 0) step.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/24 06:24 AM

Men are less picky for whatever reason. If you have a group of 100 women, a given man would maybe say 'ok' to a date or fling if 60 of them approached him. He would approach maybe 10 of them on his own. It is in women's best interest to be in the 10/100 group and not 60/100. And the most sure way to know is to see if he approaches. I have not heard about men complaining that a lot of women are open to fucking them casually, but only 5% of them wants to commit afterwards.

Yeah. If someone is non-confrontative and conformist, it has an ugly flip side of more social shaming, scheming and backstabbing game. A testosterone driven response to conflict is more straightforward, but more likely to result in violence. And the ugly side of not being cocky assertive and competitive is being filled with self doubt, neurosis and other drama.

Also the time & economic cost of children go up in wealthy countries, even if you have a lot of government support. You cannot leave them unsupervised until they are like 10, you have to provide them leisure, sport, etc. You can't even put them in a car without a car seat, lol. While in some Shitholestan if the child is old enough to walk, they can run around the house and village, probably with a bunch of other kids. Sometimes one will get kicked by a cow and die, well, such is life, god gives …
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/24 12:35 PM

Oh, the reasons are financial, but you are looking at it the wrong way. The wealthier the country, less reason to have children. They will not provide help in the household, will not help gather crops, you can't send them to work, so they are basically useless. And also there are better ways than children (savings, retirement) not to starve when you are old.

Why irrationality? At the end of the day, you don't fully control what causes you positive vs negative/meh feelings, and it IS rational to optimize for the positive ones. Let's say you are quite opinionated beer connoisseur. You have your strong preferences for the sourness, bitterness and whatever the hell there is to beer. You get a bottle that matches all the ticks - but still, is surprisingly unremarkable. It is quite puzzling, and maybe one day you will learn what parameters are missing tha…

I don't think it proves what you think it proves. Passion, love, desire is fickle and weaning. It is quite hard to keep in the long run. Hard to keep it with children in the picture. A lot of couples fail. If the marriage was based on passionate love, unfortunately it is quite likely the divorce rates will be higher. On the other hand, social status, money, compatible religious views are more constant. If you married someone just because you view them as a convenient way to get the lifestyle you…

8 episode of thriller crime tv series where a troubled, broody protagonist brilliantly follows leads but messes up his personal life, but is always helped by his snarky partner detective. The plot is also pretty good. And then whole episode nine is just the two of them fucking for 50 minutes.

Pearl Davis, a woman mentioned in the opening post as one of the pickmes. She's a youtuber, hosts some shows/podcasts and generally tries to be an influencer in the manosphere. Pearl is the imaginary cool low-cost girlfriend for her sad boys audience. If she had a boyfriend they would get jealous. She's probably fucking someone on the down-low and doesn't believe much of the shit she says, but having someone publicly could hurt what she can milk of her brand.

'Softer' crafts like sewing, embroidery, some leatherwork. It's super normal in my social bubble, I know a few professional tailors, I almost forget it is seen as nonstandard if I answer 'Thanks, my husband made it' after someone compliments my dress. But I value competence, skill and there is something really captivating in watching a man with handsome hands do some very time consuming, detailed work in complete focus.

You could also ask 'What do you think of handsome, but troubled billionaires falling for mousy women, who open up to love and commitment for her'? Not much. They don't exist. It's a fantasy, this is a male fantasy about an extraordinary, quirky, bubbly girl falling for a nondistinctive, quite dull boy with little passion for life, who helps him reignite that passion. But there is a feedback loop going on there. Your reasoning is quite right, there are probably underlying reasons why this guy is popular & well liked. But women also semi-consciously follow this (quite valid) reasoning, and are more interested / willing to give a chance to the popular guy in the first place.

Illicit romances, unfortunately. Your married boss, the bodyguard at the harem you are at, your best friend's husband. When a woman is compromising her morals and facing big personal risks to fuck a guy, you can be quite sure the lust mode has taken over the brain. With ONS in a ONS-designated spaces (like bars, college parties, tinder hookups) - it's more of 'i want some sex, oh, this guy will do'.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/02/24 08:48 AM

Even less pressure to settle down and start a family. Some women doing it on their own, barely any man. Couples would form in their 40-50ties now to start to have a baby via artificial womb. The 'dating for fun' period would extend to about 45-50, that's when women would decide they are emotionally and financially ready for a baby.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/24 12:29 PM

Umm yep, probably. I don't think that a woman dating a guy with 3 baby mommas, a prison sentence and a face tattoo spends a lot of time carefully weighting the pros and cons of such decision.

I'm actively non-attracted to ambition. I mean, maaaybe if it is something very passion driven and niche, science-related, I could respect that, but probably would not be lifestyle compatible. But the mainstream 'ambitious corporate pencil pusher' thingy is super off-putting, especially if they buy into this moronic idea that it's about something more than money (bonus-stupid points if it makes them accept less money for progress/development/ambitious projects). It postpones the problem for 2-3 generations. Either those immigrants assimilate like you, and eventually stop beating kids and decide they have to save up for their university, which will make them drop below replacement level, or they take over and we become Shithole-Country-Stan when once again it's acceptable that you keep 4 kids in one room and they just run around playing with dirt and sticks.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 12:59 PM
6

Yeah, "if" you had one. How many did your parents/uncles have? How much rooms they needed to have in a flat to decide it's 'enough' for 3 children? The better standards are an obvious improvement from humanitarian perspective, but damn they do make fertility rates drop.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 12:54 PM

I'm sorry. Yes, none of those things were good by our current standards. And I rather like those standards too. But they make having kids a way worse deal, from cost-benefit perspective.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/24 12:48 PM
16

It's a benefit, of course, but I seriously doubt the "obviously the main" part. I'm glad we treat kids better now, but there is a hierarchy of needs. And as it shifts form 'very helpful in running a household and surviving' to 'a lovely, self-actualization thingy to share love and mature as a person' - no wonder we have now 1 or 2 in our 30ties, instead of 6 right after (much earlier) marriage. Children are more expensive because our standards of acceptable treatment of a child are higher. The expensive costs are holidays, doctors appointments, baby food, extracurriculars, private schooling. Same with pets being more expensive - you could have a dog 50 years ago and just feed it table scraps, keep outside and mercifully shoot in the head once it grows a tumor or something. Now there are vet bills, regular check-ins, toys, grooming, and high-meat food.

Children are now useless - they don't give you a better chance of not going hungry at old age, they won't take over your farm or business usually, you cannot get them to work the field starting 7-10 year old. Not only their utility diminished, but they are more time and money consuming. They no longer can walk home from school when they are 7. You have to entertain them, and not just let them run around with a bunch of neighborhood kids. If your 10 year old cooks and takes care of a 4 year old, …

Awww, let's pretend it's 2010's rp forums again: It is seen as low status in female social matrix to date older without any additional benefit. Women shame other women who are not conforming to the norm, as they are selling themselves cheap. There's also the thing that women love making lists and other navel-gazing activities. Sometimes the granularity of the aspects covered in the list is not even that related to whether the requirements are to harsh or not, and some of them are kinda 'preemptive disqualifiers' that would come up in the dating process and would lead to 'we were just not compatible' ending. I think small age gaps with women being older (4-7 years let's say) are not that frequent because of women's reluctance to date younger, not the other way around. I don't think most 20 year old guys see 25 woman as 'too old'. Men are not that picky. Idk about bigger age gaps, 10+ years with older women.

Marriage is a way to make someone your legal family. My husband is my family, and it is nice we can have it recognized as such. The government cannot really 'stay out of our lives' if you want to have any rules regarding next of kin, inheritance, shared property, hell, in my country I couldn't even give anything over 2-3k $ to my husband without him have to pay about 20% of that in gift tax if we were not married.

Sugar dating is brutal. If you want to go in, you have to have a gigantic SMV difference between you and the man that is sponsoring your life. That's what is balanced off by his paying you rent after all. You must be a girl that would make people 'wtf is she doing with him' without the money aspect. If you don't look like a girl someone would take to a yacht party to show off, that ship has sailed for normal-looking men with less than 10yo difference. You can go older, you still have to be hot, …

I think people meeting 300 strangers via OLD and not clicking with anyone is the abberation, not the norm. Most of people are heterosexual. You put 30 of those in a group setting where they meet often enough and soon you will have some of them pair off, feel lovesick for one another, all that jazz. Cynical people will say 'oh, what were the chances that your perfect soul mate just happened to attend the same highschool'? But from the inside of the hormonal brain it feels just like that.

Do you live on a farm? Most city-dwellers like me and almost everyone I know, have to face maybe one 'manly' task a year, like idk, putting an Ikea shelf together. And even then its done by the couple usually. The rest of the shit (renovations, repairs etc) gets outsourced. That would give you like, one dinner a year, provided you make dessert afterwards, if you want to keep it fair and balanced ;)

If the relationship is shit anyway, then yeah, it is better to live with a friend. But then, if it is shit, it would still be shit if he paid 100%. I lived with 2 men in my life, my ex fiance and my husband now. And even if you take love out of equation, it's pretty sweet & comfortable to live with a man you like. That's 50% less taking the trash out. 50% less doing groceries. Half of the time someone else cleans the bathroom and half of the time a meal for dinner appears without your effort. An…

Is it possible you overestimate the man's looks in a couple and see him as 'more attractive' because you find men more attractive in general? I had a lesbian friend and she commented every couple like 'what great girl, what is she doing with this absolutely mediocre guy?'. The guy could be a male model, she'd still see him as 'mid at best' and the girl as 'she could get so much more'.

Huh, I see some similarities. Men will write that nobody ever ever wants to marry a single mum, yet I see such couples all the time. Same as with age-gap relationship, it's not the majority, but it happens frequently enough, no reason to scream at reality for not conforming to your expectations. And when it does happen, they try to either picture it as a terribly bad deal for the man (same as with younger women with older partner, they will get exploited) or somehow devalue the man/young women (…

Yeah, and I would be more accepting to this. If someone had threesomes only in casual, noncommited relationships, but doesn't want to do it with their wife, I get it. And if the threesome thing in the past wouldn't bother me, then I'd be fine with 'I had 3some but I don't want it now in my life with you', even if I were a little curious.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/23 08:26 PM

Depends on what it is, I guess. I'd understand if it was something non-monogamy related with a serious partner. But this is heavily theoretical, as I don't want to try any threesomes and I'd rather my partner didn't have such colorful past. For the rest of the stuff, as I'm pretty vanilla, I think it would be an incompatibility regardless if they did it with previous partners or not (like a guy not performing oral, or idk).

A straight-up like can backfire badly if it's happens to be with someone you will find yourself building a serious relationship. At early stages, if you feel it puts you at disadvantage: feel free to downplay it, be vague, eg 'you are my first serious girl' - can mean both you are a hopless virgin, or that you had some casual experience only. If she wants to know exactly what and how any many times you did with what partner - well, that's not really discreet nor tactful, and you can point it out…

I think it boils down to this, and it also applies to men (even more so with the beta-bucks fears etc): If you provide enough acts of service that being with you you would be a pretty sweet deal even if the person that is with you doesn't particularly like you a lot, you run a risk of having an indifferent partner that stays out of convenience.

Single primary caregivers suffer more, because of logistics and life expectations (moving in means living with a child fulltime, holidays are with kids mostly, etc). Women just tend to be primary caregivers if parents split in the majority of the cases. Women don't compare men with themselves, they compare them with other men. I think that's the part of hypergamy that has some truth to it - when considering immoral sexual strategy that would satisfy most people there is a gendered difference - men would usually get a harem if they could get away with it (so ALL women) and women would just get the top 1 male (but branch swing if he loses that position).

I guess (no casual experience) that's because there is roughly the same amount of heterosexual people of each sex interested in relationships and way more men interested in casual than women. But early 20s girls do not suddenly start desiring them more. But that's a tricky was to define peak, as the the absolute best would be about 70s. I think 'great lovers' don't do anything extraordinarily different than 'meh lovers', and the difference is in the level of mutual desire. I take that as a general 'reasons for breakup were complicated and it's not like one person was clearly wronged' statement without going into details, plus he doesn't want to talk about his ex in a bad manner, which for me is an okay-sign. It may sound like bullshit if you were his psychologist trying to get to nitty gritty stuff, but outside that context the platitudes of 'It fizzled out, maybe we could have worked if circumstances were different' are just a polite way of saying 'I don't want t…

Depends on our financial situation, childcare status, and hours of work + commute. I'd hope to make it a fair system and discuss with him, not order around. If the situation is that we are financially struggling, but it just doesn't make sense for him to work (like childcare would take most of his paycheck) and the home workload is heavy - toddlers, no preschool or childcare, rarely eating out so full time cooking - it's a 'all hands on deck' situation, I'd aim at equal split after workhours wit…

Thanks, I guess I don't really see the thrill enough to try that, but I think it makes some sense with the high feeling, I notice when it gets really nice I tend to hyperventilate / hold breath a bit, which maybe an instinctive way to get my body/brain oxygen level to that state. But I can't even wear turtlenecks because they feel choky not in a fun way, so I'll pass on that activity. Pressure to the back part of neck is yay for me, front not so much.

Choking is retarded, do you want me to die or puke? However a nice, strong hold on the back of the neck without touching anything that has to do with breathing (like the kitten grab) can feel super good in a way that intense massage that almost hurts feels good. Heck, I sometimes request it when sitting on a couch outside of any sexual context because I want my neck muscles to relax. Same with hair pulling, a strong and quick pull by the pony tail is super unpleasant and unsexy, but running a ha…

There is this basic sales tactic of creating illusion of scarcity. Like, there is only one item left and you have to make a decision now! It's dumb, people still fall for it. The long lists are created by women who just like creating long lists. It's half introspective excercise in thinking about what attracts you, half imagining perfect boyfriend ala sims creator. I guess the tendency to make long lists correlates with tendency to navel gaze, find joy in figuring out your love language or MBTI etc. Long list does not mean there are any more requirements/higher bar than in 'I have to like him and he should not be a serial killer', it just means the lady making the li…

It's reasonable. Especially if it's falling for a friend scenario, there are probably deeper feelings involved and the level of emotional intimacy friendship offers clashing with unrequited crush can be heartbreaking. None of them will be enthusiastic about dating that person anyway. As for classifications & reasons, there seems to be a type of 'lifestyle cheater' for men - they never intended to be that faithful in the first place, use prostitution, have double standard regarding female vs male cheating, that tend to be the most 'sleazy' and obvious douchbag, and I think the female equivalent is not that common. I think there are 2 cases here: For extremely attractive / influential men, there will be a minority of women who have no problem sharing, or at least agree to it (might be jealous a bit, but still consider worth it). Think rock stars and groupies. It is by no mean majority, but even 1% of hot women is too much one man can handle if they get effective access to him. So the result is he's drowning in women. If we have sex then he's mine Prince Charming of course, and it's us against the world, and we do a glorious last stand and then still die because most people can't really fight ;) (or one of us flees because humans are humans and often less heroic than we think of ourselves, and then the shame and emotional fallout makes the whole thing unsalvageable)

I don't. Maybe take a quick look if someone is dressed (or undressed) in a way that stands out, has a cool outfit, unusual hairstyle etc. But it's the same thing as looking at a person dressed as a living statue, a fleeting curiosity. I would never 'hope he notices me' from a guy just walking down the street, maaybe on a concert / party / convention or some other activity were socializing is part of the gig.

The data says "one third of marriages start with a hookup" not “One third of hookups ends up in marriage.”. It may as well be that out of 3 women who do 100 lousy hookups each, only one of them eventually finds husband this way. So it might be simultaneously true that 1/3 marriages start with hookup, and that 1/300 hookups end with marriage.

Poly means you are in multiple relationships / have more than 1 person you consider romantic partner. Open generally means sex outside relationship is allowed, the details vary, but it is usually much more casual than in poly and you don't consider the extramartial flings your partners/girlfriends.

My desire (sexual and romantic) is very, very possessive. I cannot unlink 'I want you' from 'I want you to be mine & mine only'. Even the thought of previous partners is unpleasant, let alone this poly stuff. And if I somehow got over the 'I want you only for myself' that would probably lead to emotionally/sexually checking out of the relationship at all, like 'I don't care what you do with other women bc I don't care about you'.

I think so, yeah. Maybe if it's after some time for health reasons, like an obese american couple trying to get in shape, that's applaudable. But basically if you accept someone as partner and take what they offer - looks, personality, money I don't think it's fair to change your mind and put pressure. Ofc you can always leave if you start thinking that's a bad deal, but going 'i told you i want to be with you, but now I think you were from beginning too ugly/too poor/to stupid, improve or else'…

Yeah, most women have eyes and know that you are more fit than them. Some of them are self-conscious about that (body issues are huge among women anyway), some not. I'm not any fat acceptance / health at every size advocate, but still think it's a bit shitty to start going out with someone and then hold their weight against them (unless it changed dramatically). If she was good enough on day 1, what's the deal now?

I don't do this 'standards' things in the usual way. I can give you a list of attractive qualities, yeah, but that is more of a post-hoc, introspective thing that I know about myself - I'm most likely to fall for man with those qualities. Then yeah, it's a good idea to be loving and caring. It's sad when couples take each other for granted and stop showing warmth and taking little steps towards making other one's life easier. There was an interview with divorce attorney I watched on youtube a few days ago, and he told a story of when one of his clients felt it was over (not the actual reason of course, but the sign that things are broken between them). The only open relationships I've seen, it prolonged the otherwise shitty / dysfunctional relationship/marriage as it was easier to stay together if you get to sleep from time to time with some other person that doesn't despise you / isn't bored with you. Still, all ended with divorce/breakup eventually, but it was clear that the openness gave them 2-4 years of suffering together more.

I'm all for being caring, gentle and serving. After all, my man is my favourite person on earth, who should I be kind to if not him? But there's an ugly side to overly 'mummy' type of relationship. Putting down, assuming incompetence, disdain is way easier when you feel like a caretaker of an adult partner. All the 'aww, my poor little husband, he wouldn't survive a weekend without me'. Bleh. I hope never to enter such dynamic. It also kills desire.

I've seen a few of your posts, and that answer seems misleading without context. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this FWB of yours your exclusive, 10+ years long life partner where you were each other firsts, and loved each other, but you just don't want to label it 'relationship' for some quirky reason? It reeeally stretches the definition of 'casual'.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/21 06:43 AM

Just for the sake of argument, as it is shitty either way: You say women cheat mostly if she's fed up with relationship already, while man can cheat when everything is fine. Cheating obviously harms the relationship. It is worse to damage something good and functional than something broken anyway. Like putting a nice brick house on fire is worse than flaming old rusty shack, even if the house has a bigger chance of 'surviving'. Therefore it is way worse when a man cheats.

Like evidently scammed, with loads of cash disappearing and being used for something else, not just 'he enjoyed lifestyle more than you' used. Teasing, slightly charged conversations, little nicknames, accidental touches, declarations made in an over-the-top, joking way. Every interaction a man initiates with a woman is a probe for sexual availability. You mean just cold approach or generally in every social situation? You are exaggerating a lot. And even if, there is still a little dance to be made so there is no 'eeew, creep!' thing going on. Which is, one person gives a signal which can be interpreted either way (but leaning to the flirty side), if it's ignored or responded in a clearly platonic/friendly way we assume that's totally what we meant and everyone…

And it isn't just you - it's every woman who does this. Women always leave themselves an out, a way to plausibly deny interest in case they have to do so. This is why women's IOIs are so damn subtle - you're indirect communicators, and you need an escape route if it doesn't go exactly the way you want. Flirting is mostly about plausible deniability, on both parts. People don't go around asking 'can i have some sex please' because rejections would make things totally awkward. I think that's the p…

Doesn't escalate commitment at any point, is just 'going with it' with some kind of relationship inertia. They go exclusive after she initiated 'what are we' conversation. They move together after some nagging on her part. They get engaged after 7 years and lots of social pressure. Heck, they even get married and she if she pushes for children enough, he'll finally agree to them.

Nah. The age-gap hysteria in US is quite amusing. But still, TRP overestimates number of young women interested in dating older men. I pretty much agree, it captures female point of view nicely. I don't argue it somehow is more pure or mature than typical male desire. As for office politics, they mostly tend to leave people who don't want to go management route in peace, software houses still need actual coders and you can go up to do some architecture/whatever, plus the job market is still pretty nice, so leaving doesn't strike me with fear. For the upcoming revolution however, I welcome any advice you have. :D

Money. Working is something adult people have to do, unless they are very lucky. I would not call myself having a 'career', just a well paying relatively easy job (IT). I'm very happy it's not a high-stress, life-eating career, as it would kind of defeat the purpose - I work so I can do cool stuff outside work, if work would be so demanding that much free time is impossible, what's the point? Unless that's a Very Fulfilling And Cool Career, like in a space program or something. But I'm a dropout…

Have you ever had a serious (but very sexual) crush on someone? Full on hormone hurricane, disruptive thoughts through the day, getting lightheaded at the brief touch of that person? Those feeling take time to develop. There needs to be some space to get that silly physical longing. Jumping to sex stright away feels like a skin deep experience, like a itch to scratch, not some big passion. I never got that visceral lust for someone just by meeting / looking at them. Girl needs some time to becom…

If a man doesn’t become attractive until he’s 36... Men are most attractive before 36. If he was not attractive then, he won't become attractive later, but women in his age bracket can get less picky, so he'll have more 'relative attractiveness' in 'divorced 35 year old women' demographic.

There is maybe 1 out of 10 posts there with 'good' content - really ridiculous expectations, sounding entitled, etc. Rest is just depressingly average people trying their best at dating market - e.g. mother of two, likes hiking, looks for something serious. What's so funny about that? Kinda bland, like most people are. Average smarts and looks. Not ideal life path, again, depressingly common. You can pull this off if you are Pablo Picasso or some other mentor/celebrity figure. Otherwise, women interested in serious relationships and caring about your financial status (let's say trads) would write you off because you are way to old to start a family, provide for her and her children education (you will be about 70 when they go to university, lol), and generally even if she wanted more stable, well off man, aiming for early 30 guy would be much better bet. The non-trad, who just wants …

Most women say they would not date a virgin in a sense that if they had perfect okcupid selector for men, they would not check virgin. It's less part of virginity itself (unless she has big past and is insecure that you would judge her) but more of what she thinks it indicates - awkward, weird, socially inept. If those things about you are not true - she first meets you, finds you handsome, finds you funny and charming, then maybe learning about virginity would be 'wtf' moment, as it doesn't fit…

No, i don't think so. If we are talking onetime or rare events - there are really physical reasons, that can also be frustrating for the women. Medicine, allergies, hormonal fluctuations can create a situation where no moisture can be made and that's it. There's a lot of nonphysical reasons she's not that excited that don't have anything to do with her partners' skills. Stress. Sleep depriviation. Her pet rabbit just died. She's not that into you. Nobody (except vampires) is as conventionally sexy and attractive aged 80 as they were when 20. It's a no brainer that somewhere in between the attractiveness drops. You may argue it happens later than TRP claims, but damn, it's pretty obvious it happens. Everybody gets old and ugly, unless they die young.

You could die in childbirth, yes. You could also die in a car accident. I heard of more people from my friends and family group who lost someone to car crash than to birth. Do couples that drive cars don't love each other? What about those who ride motorcycles?

I think it's tolerated when women have little choice, or does not see her men primarily as a lover/partner (as in modern relationships) but as a household head, provider, etc. It's more acceptable in 'traditional' relationships which are mostly economic arrangements, passionate love was never in the picture anyway, and after a child or two wife doesn't want to be bothered by husband in any form except for caring for her and offsprings, so as long as he is discreet side chicks are a relief

Ok, if we're being all cynical and assume you can cheat wrong and right way.. she would disrespect him by sleeping with his business partner or rival, yes. If you are celibate, asexual or whatever then 60 and virgin is fine. If a person wants relationships and sex, and it hasn't happened by about 25, then I think it's kinda sad. Things are obviously not going as planned / intended. And even if it's not beyond hope and they find someone around 30, it's still most of the youth spent alone.

Hmm... Star Trek stuff and general sentiment about space exploration. Jesus Christ Superstar musical. Watchmen, in parts. Some fav parts of Shakespeare or Paradise Lost if we move beyond popculture. Average is important - very, very attractive people don't have problems at all, and incels, well, they did not do awesome in their youth anyway. It's easy to be terrible online. Most people are neither saints nor psychopaths, something in between. Lack of face-to-face contact lowers the emotional price of treating someone like shit. Tinder / OLD makes a literal marketplace, which eases the process of treating other human like commodity. Firstly, no reason, an instinct level I guess, like 'why do you like hourglass figure'. I'm not (and I suspect most women are not) attracted to an individual feature in a way men often are, e.g. nice butt, but the whole picture/story. Being desired by a sexy man, as Atlas wrote, makes a sexy story. Running around trying to convince men to fuck you makes a story of either you being ugly or him being gay. Not very arousing. Depends on what you mean by peak. Men peak in terms of 'being attractive to the most attractive women' around 23-25 I think, as 20yos don't really want to date much older as first choice. Men peak in terms of 'being atttactive to the most range of women' about 28-35, as usually he is atttactive to his peers, but it's a sweet spot age where he can still pull some younger chicks without sugar daddying (provided he's not too picky)

Where I'm from (Europe) split custody does not mean lowered child support, and usually it gets higher when men want to see their children more (you can either propose terms agreed by both parents, or court decides, so it tends to be 'pay 2x and get 50/50 or 40/60 or risk getting default 2 weekends a month'). Yeah, it would be also lovely if people would 'adopt' elderly lonely people and visit them every day and help with groceries. Or if all doctors and lawyers would do 5h of probono work each week. Adopting an older child is noble and awesome etc, but it's much different situation than getting a toddler because you want nuclear family but have fertility issues.

Yeah, but you have timelimit on adoption, at least where I am from. They calculate the age gap, and it has a maximum, of about 40 years. So if you are 45, you won't get a brand new shiny baby, a 5 y.o. traumatised by foster care is best you can hope for.

I haven't said he's bad. I don't regard every person I don't want to have sex with as 'bad'. I think this stereotype steams from seeing 'strong independant' / ruthless bitch women as generally more feisty, kinky and adventurous or 'into some weird shit'. The whore, not the madonna. There are two big jumps you make here. First, is that all flirting is done in a cutesy-little-girl way. That's not true. The lovey-dovey stuff is mostly mutual, with man being often equally as 'childish' in hugs, babytalk, kisses and over the top love declarations, and I think it's just part of oxytocin rush of NRE. The female flirting (as in creating tension, not deescalating it to hug and cuddle) is much more of push-and-pull, engaging in a teasing banter, teasing in a sexual manner (e.g. bold…

Capital European city observations here, so may not be applicable elsewhere. Almost everyone puts off having kids for the longest possible to have fun, life, career. But a minority is truly childfree, most of people want children eventually. This creates a rather tragic dynamic. Most women react differerently than men to homosexual attention, if heterosexual. If anything, I'd say women are more likely to feel flattered by a chick being into them, even tease a little in a friendly setting (with whole 'oh, what a pity I'm hetero, I'd do you otherwise, tehehe). Unwanted men's attention is less pleasant. And I havent seen hetero men react with positive giggles when other men flirted with them.

The SMV is a relative thing. Men tend to get more choice as they age, but not in 20 year old supermodel women. A vast majority of women prefer relationships with few years age gap max. However, let's say: 5% of 20 year old women are willing to date 40 year old men. 10% of 25 year old women do the same. 40% of 30 year old women would date a 40 year old men. 90% of 35 year old women would do. Kind of, not all status, yeah. Much of female desire for a man is considering him awesome/cool. Fame adds to that in a pretty obvious way. High status in a field that is relevant to the girl and the group she's in (so a popular band member for a goth girl, a talented painter for someone studying arts, popularity in any given subculture the girl belongs to). Losers are not sexy. Winners are contextual, a CEO status does probably nothing for a biker gal.

Yeah, I see it more as as sublimated sexual desire than result of sex. However, many women state that hearbreak would be much worse after sex, and I kind of agree with that, it feels like rejection vs loss, and rejection is something more spread in time and less sharp (after all, all the time spent wanting is time spent not having, so rejection after a long limerent crush is like more of the same terribleness)..

And the 'n count destroys pair bond' argument is therefore 'after experiencing that crazy hormonal thing multiple times with different people, the women, unless she's IQ 60, would learn that it's just her horniness clouding judgement, not some mystical thing, so she'll be disillusioned and won't let herself be tricked by her brain chemistry, like you stop reacting to 50th jump scare in a row in a slasher movie'.

I have quite the opposite intuiton, based on anecdata and own experience. Funny. I think women are more prone than men to experience desire as limerence, as opposed to simple 'would bang' skin-deep feeling, and therefore more likely to attach to it more romantic, truelovey meaning. I mean, when you experience sexual desire as 'feeling lightheaded, can't concentrate, obsessive thoughts of his smell and that moment when ours hands almost touched, butterfiles in stomach, I'm going to die if I won't…

Some wrong heuristics. IQ 100 => not that bright, when said 'average' people think "People of Walmart" average IQ 120 => Normie smart, an internet nerd or someone casually in the chess club or studying something STEMish is usually in that 115-120 range. therefore Very Smart ~ 140 IQ. And my partner is of course VERY SMART (when most of the cases, they are average, because most of people are average). Women in muslim countries have it even shittier than before. Hiding infidelity is impossible. I wonder if the second thing shouldn't remove the 'buuut N count is a good indicator of future cheating' argument. If she cheats, you'll know. No reason to guess based on N count.

Under 10 from early teens to 30. But genuine, lustful attraction for me is something that builds over time (in contrast to noticing someone is objectively cute) so that is infuenced by the fact I wasn't looking to build that kind of relationship most of the time

Women were physically incapable of raising a child in the caveman era and also providing for them at the same time. To argue that is to argue insanity as your defense. Yeah, but that does not mean monogamous prostitution for resources is the only possible model. A small community could divide labour (hunting/domestic stuff/taking care of younglings) without monogamy. Males could provide for females they were related to. It depends what do you define as 'peak'. I think men's peak at 30-35 is defined that way not due to being 'objectively' most attractive then (e.g. more than he was at 25) but because women tend to be willing to date slightly older partner, and being around 30 is the sweet spot for hitting largest demographics of women. As in (statistics are made-up but seem believable to me, you can change it to different %, the general tendency is important: 22 year old guy: 90% of 18-22 years old women are wil…

I agree a lot. Even if me having sex with someone else was for some reason fine by my man, me desiring sex with a new guy would make me think 100% time of him and idea of someone else touching me would make my skin crawl. NRE is a powerful drug. And it would be destructive for the old/main relationship. Only way I can imagine having two or more partners at the same time is when all of those relationships are very lukewarm/casual, and I don't need lukewarm/casual sex in the first place.

Oh come on. I agree with you that sexless relationships are a no-go, barring some extreme accidents, but there are obvious differences. Biggest one is a mutual agreement for building a life together, nesting, plans etc. It may be sad that a good friend moves to another city, but it's generally not expected that he won't and it's not perceived as betrayal. You don't make life plans (building home, jobs, children and childcare) with platonic friend. He's not expected to be primary caregiver if you…

I think it can be 'repaired' if he's a good father and a household teammate in a sense you can stop arguing and make it work, provided you just stop viewing him as 'your man' and romantic partner. I really enjoy teasing flirt, firstly just as a fun interaction, and secondly in appreciation of social skills to do it correctly: the thin balance between being bold and witty and actually offending me and thus blowing the conversation (and the social cost of that if we share friends circle) is quite a thing to achieve and so I value it in the same way I value acrobats who walk on line. Nope. In a way, negging is the opposite of teasing. Teasing is delivering a message that at face value is negative, with a clear intention of communicating it in playful/joking manner. Negging is sending a message that is neutral at face value, with hope that it will be read as a negative one or at least there will be doubt about intention.

Yes, i think it's crazy and a reason why so much 'first date then ghost' situations. I mean, I have visual preferences, but they are not primary attractor. Female sexual arousal is much less straightforward than male. Looking at a photo, I can't really tell if I would find the guy hot (apart from obvious NOPEs, like 90 year old or obese). Not saying it's more 'pure' or 'mature' than just big tits==want sex, but way more factors, some of which, like 'coolness', 'masculinity', 'confidence' can change a lot. Ok, let's agree to the 'all women want sex with 1% of Chads' belief. Even then, the hook is to be wanted and desired by 1% Chad, even for a brief moment. Payment cancels that. Noone wants to have paid sex with pretty boys, except gay guys.

This whole debate sounds as if instead of people we were dealing with AIs with 'optimize sexual value of partner' function. Many people, apart from extremely cold and jaded ones, don't do it. We have lots of hormonal & emotional wiring to pair with each other even if they are not perfect by some objective measure. And I wouldn't call it settling, as settling requires some premeditation, and calculated decision. If I just fall in love hopelessly with a guy, my whole brain is screaming at me 'you …

It just clamps alpha == success / beta == looser without underlying theory, so it's an extra pair of terms to describe something we already have words for. Long term/short term mating strategy definition or arousal/comfort oriented ones at least provide different angle to look at gender dynamics.

If he's not putting 150% of his mental and emotional attention into getting me, we're not on the same wavelength. I don't need an interim, not that great but not that bad bf. Roleplay it is. And most contemporary people prefer it a lot to the alternative. It is roleplay and charade and make-believe because at the end of the day there is no authority that could enforce this submission, at least in most parts of western world. Every RPWomen, every tradcon wife and 24/7 bdsm slave can wake up and decide she doesn't feel like doing it anymore and leave the guy. No amount of promises and books about being obedient little wife can take away that nuclear button. Barring eco…

Wild? I mean, the gtfo part was a bit tongue-in-cheek, but the general sentiment is there. PIV is crucial to me. Sexual release, physical closeness, emotional closeness. Whispering each others' names in ecstasy. Feeling my man shiver from pleasure INSIDE MY BODY. Feel him twitch and cum. Postcoital bliss. I've tried mdma twice and it's comparable imho. To stop and suck dick for a few minutes after would be a bit of a mood killer.

I'm 'shallow' in the sense that desire is non negotiable and does not depend on how good and valuable person you are. Be sexy and seductive. But looks are, like 20% of that. Gay men care about banging male models. For me, it's more about cofidence, suave, good game. Prettiest man ever does nothing for me if he turns out for example to be awkward and terrible dancer.

You asked 'honestly'. Yeah, it's pretty bad imho. Of course, if magically sex would still be amazing, we would have crazy chemistry etc maybe that one thing wouldn't be damning. But prima facie it sounds like a bummer and awkward and bad sex life. Not fair, I know.

How does that work? The more 'feelings' is associated with sex, the more it becomes an important part of the relationship. Like, if it's all about feelz, and expressing love and connection, isn't it more crucial and needed than just 'fun thing, can create babies' (assuming same base libido level)?

No, but I had a sudden experience of falling out of love with Nirvana songs in late teens. It was weird and sudden, a click in my head and all the magic and spark was gone. One of the most curious mind-chemistry moments without drugs.

Why? A 'yuck' reaction mostly, same as when seeing a grown man dressed in fursuit doing a sexy pose. I can try to guess the source of that yuck, but that's always retrospective. Care to explain in which sense 'our' ogic is weird? It's stereotyping, yes, in a way all heuristics are. There is some chance that he has no issues with thinking most women are out there to get his money and he wasn't burned badly by an ex who used him, but statistically he may give an impression that he was. And people judge by impressions, even if he's a great guy with a clumsy dating strategy.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/20 10:02 PM

Yeah, I agree. And I don't mean it do devalue him and say everything is his fault, but that's weirdly specific case to just say 'bad luck'. In general, being weird/obsessed about your money is a turnoff. Poor guy, ok, I'm in if I like you. Rich guy, cool too obviously. Rich guy pretending to be poor for first few weeks - screams baggage and issues.

Agree a lot. 3 months seems like a lot for dating (as in exclusive romantic meetings), but it's not that long if you start as complete strangers on date 1. OLD is deleting lots of social dance that happens before people start going on dates. From my observations it's like that with double second marriages between age peers (e.g. both 35+ with kids). When the second wife is 10+ years younger it's often overcompensation on man's part top the first wedding in attempt to hush new wife's insecurities, so it tends to be over-the-top lavish with massive displays of financial commitment.

The 3 month rule is more for the guy's benefit. Men do not develop oneitis for some broad they bang after going for coffee. They might say they want it, but it leaves them barely satisfied. What they really want is to finally seduce the women they obsess over, with kind of 'let's-burn-Troy-for-you' intensity. And that type of connection builds over time. So I kindly offer men time to desperately fall in love with me ;)

Yeah, it's default. I'm 30 but my social circle consists of many 20-30 y.o. people, with quite a few on a younger side (20-23). What seems almost unnoticed is how much online dating changed what this whole 3/4/5 date timespan means. Scenario I, no online dating: A guy knows a girl, maybe a work/school/gym colleague, a neighbor or whoever. They chat a few times on some parties and are at least casual acquaintances. He thinks she's pretty and sweet, and catches himself thinking about her more and more. So, he decides to ask her out. Turns out she fancies him too a bit, because she accepts the invitation. No, that's not. Otherwise a relationship would be indistinguishable from FWB arrangement. There's nothing wrong with wanting to get physical early on, but come on, the flirting / courting / romance elements are separable from sex and clearly separate dating / relationships from hanging out with acquaintance or meeting with casual sex partner. Again, you may argue that doing those without sex is unwise or whatever, but it still happens.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/19 11:58 AM

That's FWB, and some women are fine with that. It's still casual. If it's not monogamous (barring special-snowflake-polypeople) and permanent in intent, it's casual.

Not a deal breaker if it means fast ejaculation. A deal breaker if it means fast loosing interest in sex. What I mean: if we both feel a quickie would be fine, great. If it's a lazy sunday morning, and we're having sex I don't care if you come from PIV fast if you are up to more in next half an hour, or if you postpone it with lot's of foreplay and in-between-play, or you can make me come afterwards. Longer penetration is nice, but not mandatory. Long and intensive sex-session is.

In this scenario number 2, but I don't think it's a very good thought experiment. It's pretty primal for me, my sexuality is very possesive in general. Rage, disgust, despair. Hell, even thinking about his past lovers is an unpleasant thing. It doesn't extend to emotional aspect as much, hearing a story about how once he was completely in love and rejected triggers more of 'aww, poor you' and no jealousy. I think it's because currently we tend to prioritize 'lover&soulmate' aspect of relationship rather than 'coparent&life partner'. If I were in a relationship that's morr cen…

Glad it works for you, the way you describe your current situation it's semi-deadbedroom to me and would honestly make me consider leaving. That's pretty depressing that it's presented as a 'best you can get' scenario.

Man fucking anyone I know generates a massive 'yuck' reaction for me, so I never dated anyone with an opinion of sleeping around. It's not a very logical reaction, but a strong one on a visceral level, so I don't see a point of fighting it. One guy I'm buddies with is a very successful player. Nearly each meeting he brings another girl, and has a neverending series of 1-3 month 'relationships'. Funny thing is, he claims (even not in the girl's presence) that it's serious, he loves her, wants to …

Passion / infatuation / intensity in a romantic, not only sexual sense. Friendship is way more stable and less dramatic. You don't spend time sharply missing a friend, their voice, etc. You don't browse their pictures smiling at their face with a silly grin. You don't perceive it as a total disaster if they leave a message on 'read'. You don't just feel good and secure and instantly happy the moment you see them. There's no jealously and sense of ownership. You don't think your friend is yours a…

30 in a few months, theory based on approaches/love declarations/navel gazing, as I'm in relationship now. Do you think your younger self could have "cashed in on her beauty" and landed a better man than your current older self can? You write 'Following TRP wall definition', so let's roll with it. I guess 'better man' then also means better in TRP sense, eg. more resourceful, high status, etc? If so, I have definitely more opportunities to LTR/marry such man than when I was 21. Not because I'm s…

It's fun and playful, it's flattering to both parties involved, and the usual plausible deniability of flirt/banter is a good testing ground for actual seduction without possible awkwardness and humiliation. If a social group is maintaining a general flirty vibe where women and men compliment each other and engage playfully it makes all opposite-sex interactions friendlier and smoother, so possible serious approaches come off naturally for people with decent social skills.

The employee/employer analogy is not about who's going to 'work' for whom or who will be the boss of the relationship. It's about the choosing process, and the fact that in traditional dating/pickup scenario (man approaching women) there is this alleged advantage women have, that they are free to accept/reject an already made offer. Man gets to choose if wants to make an offer, so he's got and advantage of the wider pool of options (he can try to pick up any girl he wants) but the woman has an a…

Plot very similar to Force Majeure movie (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2121382/) - it's about emotional fallout of a 'failure to protect' situation in family. Even if the story's fake, the situation is believable. All rational arguments aside, running away is generally perceived as cowardice, cowardice is perceived as extremely unmanly, and generally heterosexual women are turned off by unmanly men. Not fair maybe, but so is most of sexual attractiveness.

Treating sex like a chore is a best way to find yourself in a stable, loving relationship, a few kids maybe, and then finding out you're not 'truly happy', and mysteriously finding someone you feel a special connection to, and 'i've been good and nice all my life, I want something for myself!', and a eat-pray-love divorce a few years later :)

It doesn't have to mean clown as in peacock game. It means entertainer, stand-up comedian & performer. I don't know personally how popular it is, but /r/tinder is full of conversations starting with 'tell me something interesting/funny joke/a long pun with my name, otherwise neeeext!'. It's about the one-sidedness of 'entertain me' attitude of women who don't bring any value to meeting/conversation on their own and behave like bored and jaded judges on X-Factor.

Wrong wording on my part, they both agreed to it, wife seemed even more interested. By open, not poly I mean extramartial sex allowed, but none of that trendy multiple relationships stuff. Either way, not a best idea in my opinion, but we were discussing practicalities of that situation, not long-term effects or whatever.

It might be easier, depending on the location/social circle, but the main thing is, these are two different activities (looking for LTR/looking for FWB) and casual is not just a better outcome for the same actions that usually grant you a relationship. Don't present yourself as a possible boyfriend when meeting/dating women when you don't want to be a boyfriend. It's not an universal 'women access job interview' thing, when in the last step you can choose a fwb position. Don't do 'date' dates. D…

I second that, and a few women I've talked about the issue (including women who masturbate a lot). The level of intensity just cannot be matched, you cannot get freaky and absolutely overwhelmed with just yourself. It gives pleasure and relief, but rarely satiation that comes with sex.

Never worked for me, the more someone is similar to me, more likely I will feel connection to that person. It's also way easier to be considerate of one's needs when you can put yourself in their shoes (e.g. similar levels of intro/extroversion, anxiety, love language and all that stuff). However I see some of the 'opposites attract' dynamic going on for people with very stereotypical masculine/feminine traits, e.g. highly emotional, fragile women tend to attract and be attracted to dominant, st…

No, for me romantic love (as opposed to friendship/platonic love) is very much entwined with lust. Emotionally attracted, AKA 'in love/infatuated/having crush on' manifests in very physical needs, like thirst for being close, touching, smelling his clothes, licking his skin, and all the naughty stuff. And that kind-of obsessive desire happens only if I'm really smitten by a man, merely thinking he's hot won't do.

There is tons more advice for women in relationships than for men, as women are generally more interested in that topic. It's everywhere. Self-help books, love/relationship advice books, coaches, therapists specializing in relationship counseling, 'femininity/self growth/whatever' workshops, tons of style, makeup, fitness, beauty advice. Most of women-centric websites and magazines have this 'relationship advice letters' column, and plenty of articles about finding men/keeping men/staying attrac…

Woman here, hypothetical as I never did/don't intend to have casual sex, however can see situations when I could seek such an arrangement (heartbroken & single for a long time, not interested in LTRs in sort-of WGTOW way ; ): Nope. Yeah, kinda. There is a number, after which I think it's less of an red flag if the N-count goes into ONS than LTRs. Eg. 15N for both guys and gals seems less troubling if it's 5 LTRs, 10 casual, than 15 'LTRs'.

Truth, I: It's frown upon because it's a public sphere, and RPW is a very pink community. All girls are nice, wholesome and graceful. All keen on improving themselves by makeup and cooking skills. All looking up to RP and internally screaming please, please, pick me. It's frown upon, because apart of truly, solely feminine communities (and even then, not always), women act always thinking, caring, taking into account that they are presenting themselves and being judged. We tend to cast a bro…

He was a member of the same hobby-related group as I. Began as hanging out in larger groups and meeting at events, then moved to a 4 people clique when we met and talked and drank and did hobby-stuff together and became closer friends, then lots of 1-1 beer/talking/doing the hobby thing, lots of conversations until pubs closed at 3 AM, after a year or so of pretty intense friendship we couldn't no longer pretend we weren't madly in love with each other.

Regarding rawness/PH balance/infection stuff: Ignoring edge cases that are obvious to cause some damage (eg. 8h daily prostitution workday), I and many of women I talked about that issue are more prone to discomfort / UTIs when having sex after a dry-spell (e.g. sickness, time apart due external factors) than when it's done on regular (even daily or twice-daily) basis. It especially came in context of LDR, when seeing someone after a month or so, the first few days could cause some discomfort du…

After thinking about past objects of lust, yes, I guess I'm type two. It's kinda weird. Why weird? I generally have high libido/sex drive. I desperately wanted to have sex with men when I was a virgin, crazy amount of masturbation, thinking of just entering chatroom and fucking a stranger, generally sex-starved. But it wasn't very person oriented, I found many guys attractive and thought they 'would do', but not lusting much after specific ones. More like hunger, not obsession with particular …

I've been reading / talking about relationship dynamics, human mating behavior or general 'how people interact with each other/ gender wars' for some time before RP community emerged, and I've followed some early pickup artist communities, so there was no definite 'coming to terms with red pill' moment of discovery or confrontation with previously held beliefs. I also have way more interest in abstract and general rules / theories than self-help books, so it was more of debating The Grand Theory…

Are you asking why women want relationships? Companionship, feeling loved, not feeling lonely, having someone who you know and care about, etc. Random ONS or FWB arrangements don't fulfill that need at all. It's like asking why people bother having friends and hanging out with them when they could just go wasted on a rave party with strangers.

Firstly, I would be amazed by contents of the folder proving his virginity. Are these complete, 24/7 recordings of last 20 years of his life, or just Incels International membership card? Then I would troll the hell out of him, saying one of his ex-lovers contacted me via facebook seeing that we were together, because there's an ongoing HIV scare in his old bdsm scene or something. Lastly, it would not be a deal breaker, but he would get mocked relentlessly for the rest of his days. Do you want to have children? If so, do you want to have children out of wedlock? It's a potential & very reasonable dealbreaker. Also, it may be the case he's not looking for someone to start a family (with our without children) yet. High likelihood of getting along fine for next 5-6 years, then just 'growing apart' & breakup (bye bye, starterpack-serious -girlfriend), and then magically 1-2 years later, he meets someone and marries with kids within two years.

Nope. If I weren't into him that much, then there's little sense to engage in so much possible drama. If I were seriously into him, then the idea of sharing would fill me with disgust and rage. If he broke up with her, poked her eyes out and brought me as a proof of his feelings, that would be ok though ;))))

Because it's seen as pathetic and whiney for men to voice their expectations for women. It's ingrained in our culture for the man to be the pursuer and the women to bu pursued. If a man lectures women collectively to please be nice, feminine and slim it's seen as weakness and inability to obtain quality mate. Instinctive response to lamentations about obese, lazy and unfeminine women is to understand it as sad complaint that that's all he can get. Which brings contempt, riddicule and little symp…

Now I see you what you meant - that those feelings are not requiring exclusivity. I rather disagree. Lust - ok, maybe - but even then only the casual, skin-deep version of it. Infatuation breeds possessiveness, we're wired that way so all the pair-bonding magic can happen. Acting against it, especially when aiming at LTR seems to be taking the hardest and most unintuitive way. Being "in love" is usually prerequisite for "loving". "FWB" is prerequisite for... dunno, married with benefits? Sounds …

Could you explain in more detail? For me "getting horny without a man" is called high libido. Lust is directed toward a person, which does not mean it's initiated by that person / a response to his actions. A women may (and very often do) lust and sexually obsess over a man without him 'talking her into' sex, or even reciprocating her desires.

True, but it's still easier for men to compensate for physical shortcomings. I know a few shorter (below 5'6'') men who are very successful with beautiful women and 0 obese women with attractive men smitten by them.

Inaccurate. Since most women are attracted to more ephemeral and fuzzy qualities than men are (think charisma vs good looks) being attractive as a man can manifest in more ways. So for women, it's quite diverse: - Some love the big, ugly, manly brute types, with raw testosterone and over-the-top machismo - Some are drawn to broody tortured-artists, who are unfortunately too spiritual to stay with one girl at a time ;) - Bodybuilders usually have a fair share of women interested in them - Highs…

Agreed. I think it prevents any sort of attachment, intensity and romance that's supposed to be essential in early stages of relationship, as well as emotional investment. And I don't mean the comfort-seeking/future-planning/boring aspects of emotional investment, but the actual fun part of dating. Lust. Limerence. I do care. Or at least by default I have lots of feelings and insecurities regarding that issue. They get mostly overwritten by more rational parts of the mind, but there is definitely a potential for really intense craziness regarding past sexual partners.
