If you want a good PPL split go on YouTube and search “Athlean X ppl” and watch the three videos. One of the best routines I’ve seen.

I had a similar problem. Not so much the “please” and “thanks” issue, but just being too much of a nice guy in general. You really just need to stop giving a fuck about anyone but yourself. You basically have to bring out your inner asshole. Start lifting weights. It’s something you can do to directly benefit yourself only, and it helps train out some of the soyboy behaviors. Be more competitive. Stop kissing your coworker’s asses. You should walk into that place every damn day and say to yourse…

Nothing. I train for functional strength. The size comes along with it. Move like an athlete, and let your body form it’s own shape. You’ll look a hell of a lot better than 99% of dudes in the gym wasting time on nonsense. Also, since you asked about calves - For example doing squats engages the whole leg (including calves). Running uphill or sprinting works calves. I also do farmer carries on the treadmill (with a pretty steep incline) which hits my calves as well. Plus I do lots of cleans (cle…

Leg press is honestly kinda pointless if you’re doing heavy squats. I’m also not a huge fan of calf raises. But hey man, if you really enjoy doing all that shit and spending 2 hours in the gym, and it’s not impeding on your other priorities in life, then good for you. Fuck what everybody else thinks

Going to the gym every day is certainly not excessive. But if you are spending more than 1.5 hours there, you are probably doing a bunch of bullshit accessory exercises that you don’t need. Keep the PPL split, but stick to the basic compound lifts. Dudes spend 2 hours in the gym hopping from machine to machine, when really that’s just totally unnecessary. Make your workouts more efficient. I know this because I am you. I’ve had to correct myself on this. I can spend 3 hours in the gym like it’s …

Despite what the red pill might say, there are still good, high quality, wholesome girls out there who want a relationship. Don’t get too caught up on this “hypergamy” thing dude. The red pill way overestimates this shit. Sure, it’s a real thing but 90% of women don’t even have the confidence in themselves to leave their man for an even more successful man. You think your future girlfriend is gonna see a richer dude and think “Oh well looks like my current relationship is over!” Do you really th…

Bro I’ll be honest this whole red pill shit scares me about the possibility of gold diggers. Like I’m already pretty rich for my age and luckily I don’t have a flashy lifestyle. But damn, it definitely scares me sometimes because I’m on a very lucrative career path (CPA and taxes, plus I invest all my money) and I wonder, what’s the difference between regular hypergamy and straight up gold digger? How do you chase excellence and be able to spot the gold digger types? Not really a problem for me …

This is the right answer. You can’t have every single woman you see. It’s your crazy monkey brain convincing you that you need to fuck every one of them for survival purposes. Don’t worry about it. Keep doing what you’re doing and channel that sex drive towards the gym. Plus, once you do get a girl, you will realize they are an extra distraction in your life. A girl will add a new layer of complexity to your life. So make sure that you get yourself up to par first so you don’t let them derail yo…

Yeah and it’s also important to have a mindset of abundance like so many red pillers preach. I’m halfway through rational male and that’s helped me a lot. I’d love to get to rollo’s most recent book on religion too.

Hello again 😂 like I explained in the other reply, there is a pretty low chance that I actually save my virginity until marriage. I’ve already had sexual experiences although my anxiety prevented me from going all the way and getting totally hard. So yeah I was already prepared to break the “no sex” rule haha. That’s why you saw me on the no fap forum, because I was scared that my masturbation was causing ED. It was most likely just “first time anxiety” but it seriously freaked me out a lot. Now…

Oh hey man you’re back haha. It’s got nothing to do with my parents, I could easily just be like “nah I don’t feel like going to church this week” but I honestly enjoy it because my faith was a major part of my self development journey. It’s amazing how many fears you can get over when you feel like you have the “power of god” on your side. Makes me feel like i can conquer the world. I’m not gonna leave my faith but I probably will violate the “no sex before marriage” rule. I’m definitely not go…

I’m studying accounting to someday start my own tax practice and work with successful business owners. It’s a highly demanded field with a shortage of people entering. The old guard will be retiring soon and someone needs to keep servicing the clients. That’s where I plan to come in and seize the opportunity.

Well you’re not completely wrong but I’m still gonna keep getting jacked and rich for myself. Also, the reason that the average woman at the club/bar isn’t hooking up with an alpha chad bodybuilder type is because most guys aren’t capable of being that person. They make up like 1% of the population. The pool of options for women has become pathetic. Look at the average male in public. If jacked alpha chad walked in the room, you don’t think women would go after him instead?

Hey man this was very refreshing to read. I struggle with choosing the same two different paths. On the one hand, I want to spend the rest of my 20s (I am currently 21) being single, building my social life, traveling, dating around, etc. Then around 28-30 years old I will start looking for a wife to get married and have kids. Basically the red pill way. But the problem with this approach is the difficulty of maintaining sexual abstinence. On the other hand, I sometimes think to myself “Listen b…

Since I was scared as shit from the ages of 16-18, what I would tell him is this: “Son, do not let fear hold you back. Do not live in your comfort zone. Obviously don’t do anything stupid like drugs or getting plastered every weekend, but please do not spend these years of your life sitting on your ass. You will miss out on a lot of memories. Try as many activities as you can, talk to as many people as possible, lift weights, study hard, and be focused. Do not be lazy - complacency kills. Do not…

You are talking about going backwards in life to be a loser again. You are desperate for women and other people’s validation. I got news for you, all those party types are lonely and looking for validation too. This is the exact opposite of what the red pill teaches. The red pill is about self sufficiency. Being excellent in life is a lonely process. Forget the escorts. You need to learn to love being alone. Even when you have other people around, you are still “alone” in this world. Bulldog min…

I know a couple men who do this and it’s usually because they are actually happily married with kids. The ones who are not happily married are the guys saying “My wife won’t let me get away for a couple hours, marriage is for the birds” or something. I suppose some men could be doing it because they are miserable in marriage and wanna suck other guys down with them, but that hasn’t been my personal experience.

I already elaborated know chase excellence not women. There’s not much else you need to know. Pretty self explanatory. If you wanna hear more watch “chase excellence not women” on YouTube by Entrepreneurs in cars. Here is “frame” in a nutshell. In any conversation, relationship, or negotiation, there is always one person who has more power over the other. The person with the most power is the one who needs the other person the least. In other words, who can walk away from the transaction and be …

Chase excellence not women. I can’t even begin to explain the magnitude of this statement and what it’s done for me. The concept of frame and genuine desire blew my mind too. But the real life changer was “chase excellence, not women” because I never realized how much of our decisions are based on what will “impress the girls” - and ironically not worrying about this is what actually impresses the girls

I definitely think our plans will work! At the end of the day, when you look at the state of most “men” nowadays, guys like us will stand out big time. It’s just hard to see the vision when everyone else around you is doing dumb shit, but we gotta keep the faith.

Well some of the rules of Catholicism are in obvious contradiction to the red pill, such as no sex before marriage. I don’t plan on getting married until my late 20s / early 30s, and not having sex until then seems impossible. There’s really no way you can spin plates as a Catholic, because every woman you see needs to have the potential for marriage. So that’s obviously a point of confusion for me. The second thing holding me back is how difficult it is to build a social network within the Cath…

I know you’re coming from a good place and I appreciate you trying to help, but I’m not doubting my belief in god or a higher power. I just think some people are overly dogmatic and I wanna figure out how to blend the red pill with my faith, without going overboard analyzing every word.

I also started getting more positive attention from people, especially girls. More casual flirting here and there, and guys will respect you more. I have yet to get free stuff though. My SMV is not quite there yet lol. Once you start standing out and bettering yourself, you will inevitably get more attention as your SMV climbs. It’s just bound to happen. Her…

No that’s definitely how I am looking at things too. I’m only 21 years old so therefore I’m not even close to being ready. Girls are just a massive distraction at this point. I need another 5 years minimum until I start considering dating seriously. For now my objective is geared towards accelerating my career, buying real estate, and getting my social life in order. This will help broaden my chances of finding a suitable wife someday. My goal is to follow this plan for the next 5 years and aim …

Oh ok I see what you’re saying. I respect your decision and I’ll probably follow the same path. I almost lost my virginity but I couldn’t bring myself to do it. I am willing to wait for the right person, although she won’t be easy to find. I think it’s important to realize there is no one “soulmate” but there are women who share our values and will support our mission. So is your plan right now basically no sex until marriage? Are you a virgin? You don’t have to answer but I’m just curious. And as far as finding a suitable partner, wouldn’t you need to “spin plates” in a sense? Because in order to find the best match, you gotta sift through a lot of options. You can’t just buy the first car you test drive. I agree about dating with intention and finding the right partner, but that doesn’t really allow much room for casual flings.

Most atheists I know spend considerably more time thinking about the “universe” and the “meaning of life” than the religious people I know lol. They also just come off as overly studious, emotionless dorks.

No I’m definitely not gonna downvote you. I can handle a different opinion. That being said, I don’t subscribe to every single story either. My days aren’t spent sitting around and reading the Bible. And I do some things that the Bible wouldn’t approve of, but not many. I don’t wanna be perfect or chain myself to a billion rules. I just think that life has meaning and purpose, and that we’re here for more than just to eat, sleep, and die.

Yeah but let’s be honest, neither of us are actually trying to get better lol. Otherwise we wouldn’t have sex. That’s the mental struggle for me. I don’t actually want to be celibate. I definitely don’t wanna be promiscuous, but total celibacy is not possible. That’s why the church created marriage, so people could have sex within the boundaries of god. But no one gets married anymore at 22 anymore. If that were the case, I could wait until marriage. But I don’t plan on getting married until lat…

In terms of red pill and Catholicism directly going together - When it comes to dating for example, do you mean spinning plates but not having sex with them? As for the rest of Catholicism, I can totally see how the red pill would fit in. The church is a strong promoter of masculine/feminine, family values, and the man as head of household. The problem is that I’m not quite ready to get married yet and I still want to date. And yeah I’ve seen a couple of videos from Elliot hulse, he’s really goo…

How can you be redpilled and Catholic when having sex before marriage is considered a sin of the flesh? An act of evil against your own body and the sexual exploitation of another person. Is the answer to just spin plates, do masculine shit, and not have sex until marriage?

I’m one year younger than you. Bro I’ll be honest, the majority of people’s “social life” isn’t really a social life at all. These people just hang around a bunch of strangers, get drunk, and take videos for social media to make you jealous. It’s all just a bunch of fake friendships and stupid behavior masked as “fun.” What I’ve realized is that - even though most people look more interesting than you - they are extremely basic and boring once you get to know them. I would have just said “It’s ok, I’m not sick” or something like that. But kids like that have probably been brainwashed by their parents and teachers. Shit dude. I used to eat food off the cafeteria floor as a kid, and these days, the kids are afraid of a virus which they aren’t even affected by. These kids are screwed. They’re gonna live in fear and be easily controlled their entire lives. God help us all. Geez, I’m starting to sound like an old man now and I’m only in my early 20s.

Upvote for making me laugh with the title. As for the food: Eggs, lean meat, lots of milk, yogurt, high protein cheese (provolone, Swiss, cottage), seafood (canned tuna, salmon), beans, legumes, nuts, whole grains, rice, sweet potatoes, vegetables, healthy fats (olive oil, avocado, etc). That’s my whole diet right there. Basically just eat lots of protein and carbs. Don’t eliminate anything, you need it all to bulk up. Eat vegetables as much as possible, too. Fats will fall into place naturally.…

I went to an all boys high school. The cons are exactly as you mentioned. It was weird even seeing girls because it never happened on a day to day basis. Looking back now, I can see how damaging that is. I didn’t realize at the time. I had to make up for it later. The pros are that I wasn’t distracted by girls. Lifted weights every day after school. Kicked it with the fellas, hella cursing, lots of roasts. We didn’t have to soften ourselves to appease the girls or impress them.

The part about “having less trust for women” is where I take issue with TRP. In theory, all of this stuff makes sense. You shouldn’t let anyone become your “everything.” You should always put yourself first. You should always maintain frame. You should always be masculine. You should always chase excellence. But it just seems to me like this whole ideology is built on a foundation of fear. (Fear of girl leaving you, fear of hypergamy, fear of female nature, etc.) It seems to me like most guys in…

That’s my struggle right now man. I don’t have much experience with girls at all but I’m trying to become better. I guess I just don’t know where to take it from here without letting the emotions run too high, and I have no other girls to compare this one to. I would like to become more red pilled, but I guess the logistics confuse me. /r/askTRP06/04/21 12:33 AM

That’s true, but I’m new to the whole “plate” thing and I don’t know how to manage it. The way I was raised, you are either single or in a relationship. Is a plate just a friend with benefits? And what do you do when you genuinely like the girl, but you’re too young for an LTR?

I fucked her twice. But yeah the distance is a problem, and I’m still talking to her because I do like her a lot. Obviously don’t want LTR though. That’s where I get confused with plate spinning.

I’m 21 and doing the same thing man. I’m still young and have yet to start my own business. But I can use my dad as an example, and I have the same entrepreneurial drive as him. My dad is in his early 60s. At first it was a lot of work, but as he got into his 30s and 40s, he had a lot more freedom to spend time with me, my sister, his family, and just do whatever the fuck he wanted. Most guys who have real shit going on in their lives are quiet. It means you got business to take care of, and you don’t want to waste energy on small talk bullshit. It’s due to a lack of men stepping out of their comfort zones. Lack of struggle. Everything has become too easy and accessible (porn, social media, etc). The role of men in society is essentially nonexistent. This is why every time a man rises up, it’s because he faced some demon, fear, insecurity, etc. As Tyler Durden said “We’re the middle children of history. We have no Great War, no Great Depression. Or Great War is a spiritual way. Our Great Depression is our lives” As for women, their role…

After she said “sounds like a plan” you should have stopped right there and said “Great! Looking forward to it” or something like that.
