Yea, whenever they separated us to ask her questions about abuse, I always wondered, "How come they aren't asking me if I'm being abused? What if I'm the victim of her abuse?" The truth is it's not because they don't believe there ever could be abuse towards the man. It's that they really don't care if there ever was.

I don't know if you have an attorney or not, but I'll give you a little piece of advice that mine gave me. If she accuses you of drug use, all you have to do is say you will submit to a drug test at her expense. If you pass, then she loses most of her credibility in the eyes of the court, and it takes the steam out of her engine entirely.

It's because they use the system to their advantage. My point is that attorney-client privilege is a far stronger privilege than doctor-patient privilege, and that if someone is causing you trouble and you need to talk to someone about it, a lawyer will give you better protection and options than a therapist will. Honestly, man to man, the best advice I can give you is to not talk to a therapist. They are mandated reporters and even the slightest suggestion of any kind of abuse or anything at all, and they are required by law to report it, even if you are 100% innocent, they will still report you at the slightest suspicion. People can tell lies about you right now on Facebook if they wanted to, or here on reddit, or on X or anywhere. I took a feminism class in college, and that is 100% not what it's about. It was actually all about cultural diversity, inclusion, and identity. They talked about ideals where everyone is included, where every identity is accepted as long as it was tolerant of other identites.

Yea, I plan to appeal because she also changed the story halfway through. The story changed from I hit my kids, to I thew something at him. So what really happened? Video evidence doesn't always work. In my case I had clear and cut video proof of my innocence in allegations and they literally chose to completely disregard the video because the fact that I wanted them to review the video so bad made me look guilty. You could have a huge list of lies, but all it takes is one of them to be kinda sort of true (but twisted in a way to make it look that way) and you get fucked completely sideways for it.
