Why not a fitness class style gym membership where you are doing the same workout w/ a large group of people? I know, hard to get huge doing that, but good way to interact w/ a group of the same new people on a regular basis

Dude. Thank you for the well thought out feedback. Want to clarify on one point- do you fall in to the school of thought of 'it doesn't matter if she brings up her boyfriend, just plow through'? In your experience have you won over people who didn't seem interested initially? Right now I'm in the mindset of not thinking an easy out is a bad thing. If she sees me in person and isn't interested and wants to lie about having a boyfriend, that's her making sure neither of us wastes our time.

I feel like a line I use at the beach a fair amount would be classified by you as high intent- 'Hey, this is super random but I was checking you out as a ran by and figured I should stop and say hello. Are you single?' I have done ok w/ the above. Did some brainstorming and here's a little more premise, let me know what you think folks 'Hey, this is super random but it looked like you were waiting for a man to come over and chat you up, and here I am'

I thought the podcast they did together was awesome, and that destiny is the perfect example of someone who’s wisdom and values let’s him “take what he wants and leave the rest” from RP and when talking with F&F

One or two hours a day learning programming? There was recently a post in this very subreddit about the difference between being in the fast and slow lane. One or two hours a day learning a difficult skill that one day you hope to be paid to do is the SLOW lane. Get on the grind my man!

When you said “tools and tricks” I immediately thought that yes a good LTR requires lots of tools. Good communication, paying attention to your own needs, paying attention to your partners needs, etc. Those are valuable tools, and I bet mark would support them. As we drift from tools to tricks, I think it’s important to think about the motivation behind your actions. Continuing to lift like you’re single when in an LTR could be viewed as either “dread game” or could be you living out your values…

I think that was a fantastic text to send to polarize her. Either she’s down, or she’s not, and it’s your job to find out as soon as you can and act accordingly

Call her out on it (but a better solution would be to walk away completely and fill your life with better people)

You also don’t have to take ten steps forward all at once. You can pay someone a genuine compliment (“I like your outfit”) and just keep walking. Get used to that as a first step

I became more successful by adding captions to my pictures in order to show (not tell) my sarcastic sense of humor. I then became significantly more successful by getting a good photo of myself with my shirt off. You like you’re in shape, so advertise that in a way that doesn’t include mirror selfies

What is a romantic relationship you look up to/want to emulate and why?

It’s not about picking or finding the right person. That is the blue pill Disney lie. It’s about BECOMING the right person. That’s what the red pill is about. Focusing on your mission and pursuing the things that are important to you. Once you feel yourself with less drive for the breadth and want to settle down you will be someone capable of maintaining attraction in a long term relationship because you’ve spent most of your life actively bettering yourself.

If you’re worried about passion, don’t be, and read “so good they can’t ignore you” by cal newport
