Yeah, I hate this kind of activism in such subjective areas. Are we supposed to nominate women directors just because they are women? Is she saying every single director on her jacket had an oscar worthy movie? Maybe hiring more women directors would provide more opportunities for women nominees.

Yes.. and people being upset IS what the comments are about, hence what I said... All you have done is call other people whiny bitches, call me slow minded, say I'm arguing like a feminist, not actually refute any comments in particular, offer no solutions and just (ironically) whine about all of this.
