The educational system didn't teach me my beliefs I came upon them myself through observation of my male peers and through discussion and insight from my mom, sister, and girlfriend. Also being in the field of computer engineering it's pretty clear that women are hugely underrepresented in it. And it's absurd to think that a 80:20 men:women split in my 500 student class is normal or okay. 3	AskFeminists didn't like my question, I guess... I'm a white male middle-class computer engineering college student. It's not so hard for me to see and acknowledge that my sex puts me in an advantageous position in society. TwoX as a whole is more about talking about being a women etc. That sort of sub is important on Reddit considering how "boy's club" the main subs get, with the daily posts of jerk-off material to r/pics and r/funny. That sort of content is definitely alienating to female users, and TwoX works to counterbalance that. MensRights isn't about being a man. 2	TIL Illinois had a different drinking age for men and women till 1961 Well, sort of. The Federal govt wanted to raise the drinking age nationally, but it's a state issue. So they blackmailed the states with highway money so they'd all raise it. Blackmails the wrong word here though. There are bad women and bad men, but if you (and MensRights) looked around for a bit you'd realize that women are people like men and therefore not inherently anything.
