I agree with all of your points. I'm not at all suggesting that there are no reasonable people on this sub or in the Men's Rights movement. As a person who was initially repulsed by the MRM I'm proud to say that I am humble enough to admit when I'm wrong: I think that there is a lot wrong with the movement, some of its core ideas and in particular its de facto leaders and a lot of their followers, but looking into the movement has made me aware that on some issues, it generally makes extremely v…

This is MensRights, where the facts are made up and basic morality doesn't matter.

Well to be fair, it's not as though the linked conversation would give anyone any hope that you're capable of an adult conversation. I'm surprised you haven't banned yourself from speaking just out of politeness.

I wasn't defending her. Go back and read what I wrote. She's clearly a sack of shit, make no mistake. But it's absolutely not evidence of any kind of gender bias that she got an entirely appropriate sentence. I worked in the legal system for more than three years, and I saw much, much worse offenders than her get suspended sentences. It's extremely common around here that responses to comments that go against the delusional sexist grain don't actually address the comments made.

Suspended jail sentences are very common for first offences and are still serious. Gender aside, it would be extremely inappropriate for the sentence to have been more serious. But DUR HUR WMN (and economists and psychologists and sociologists and countless other disciplines) ARE WRONG ABOUT SOCIETY right?

If you didn't want your rejection of reality to affect your life, you shouldn't have rejected reality.

... You realise you're posting in a sub dedicated to reinforcing that artificial barrier, right?

I've been straining to fit my head around that position you describe and failing. The things they're saying are not consistent with it. They're just standard MensRights subscribers: Zero understanding of what's happening around them.

Then why does it happen so often? Why is it still an issue? Why the hell is everyone in this thread too stupid to work it out?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
