Club I thought I’d never be inWhatever happens, I pray things don't get too bad for you. It will be rough for the first while, but don't let those hard days win! Better days will come. Just gotta stay strong, brother! | /r/Divorce_Men | 25/09/25 10:37 PM
Club I thought I’d never be inI got divorced in January 2021. I can't begin to tell you the hole I dug myself in. I got depressed and almost did things I didn't want to do. What I can tell you is this: Focus on yourself. YOU are your number 1 priority now. Build yourself up and make a better life for yourself. Find hobbies, meet new friends, anything that makes you happy and stick with them. When I started playing more golf and playing video games with friends, I got to a point where I'm no longer worried about my ex-wife. I… | /r/Divorce_Men | 22/09/25 05:05 PM
Butt kicked in courtFor real! I kind of want to do that, to be honest. | /r/Divorce_Men | 12/11/24 10:56 PM
Please tell me it gets betterI've been divorced now for 3 years, and it's still hard. I even went through the trouble to have my best friend move in with me, and I still feel lonely all the time. I cry at least once a week and struggle to get out of bed to go to work sometimes. All we can do is be grateful for the memories and then work on bettering ourselves and our future! It IS POSSIBLE! It's tough, but don't give up! Better days are coming. | /r/Divorce_Men | 03/03/24 12:42 AM
Am I Overreacting, Or Am I Justified To Feel This WayI didn't have a choice. I want to be a part of my son's life. I'm not just going to not be with my son just because my ex-wife and new partner are present. I refuse to be a deadbeat. | /r/Divorce_Men | 26/05/23 03:38 PM
Am I Overreacting, Or Am I Justified To Feel This WayI appreciate your advice. Thank you. | /r/Divorce_Men | 20/05/23 05:11 AM
Am I Overreacting, Or Am I Justified To Feel This WayThe child support really cuts into my available money for things like bills and food. I can afford the child support and my bills, but I have to be very strict about what I get for food and I have to make it last for 2 weeks so it's mainly like Ramen noodles and soup is all I can really afford. Also, no the divorce decree does not bind me to her house. I just chose to go there because it's a nicer area of town and it's easier to keep an eye on my son since my ADHD does tend to make me hyperfocus… | /r/Divorce_Men | 20/05/23 05:10 AM
How often does it end in suicide? This is just me, but if I knew where my friend lived and he wasn't answering any contact, I'd go to their place and see if they're okay in person. They may have turned off their phone. If you don't hear from them in a couple days, maybe do a wellness check, but use that as a last resort. | /r/Divorce_Men | 19/05/23 10:12 PM
Am I Overreacting, Or Am I Justified To Feel This WayI'll have to sit down and think of a few things. I've just been busy with overtime at work and haven't had much time to think about anything, but I will keep that in mind. Thank you. | /r/Divorce_Men | 19/05/23 10:08 PM

Am I Overreacting, Or Am I Justified To Feel This WayAfter child support, I barely have enough money to keep groceries in my apartment. Also, I don't know if she trusts me enough to take my son to a park or something because I have severe ADHD and she thinks that I may lose focus and then lose him or something. | /r/Divorce_Men | 19/05/23 10:05 PM
Am I Overreacting, Or Am I Justified To Feel This WayBelieve me, I could care less what they do. I just don't understand why they have to do all of that in front of me. If it would be disrespectful for me to do it in front of them, why doesn't work the other way around, ya know? Regardless, you're right. I shouldn't give a shit. | /r/Divorce_Men | 19/05/23 02:16 PM
Am I Overreacting, Or Am I Justified To Feel This WayWell, let me clear, they don't live together. I don't really have anywhere to take my son because I live in a sketchy area of town (not by choice due to lower income) | /r/Divorce_Men | 19/05/23 01:15 PM
Am I Overreacting, Or Am I Justified To Feel This WayWell they don't live together. The only reason why I visit at her house is because my apartment is in a sketchy area of town and I couldn't get another place due to my lower income. | /r/Divorce_Men | 19/05/23 01:13 PM
Am I Overreacting, Or Am I Justified To Feel This WayOh, I've moved on. There's no question. Not sure why I'm so pressed about it, but you're right. | /r/Divorce_Men | 19/05/23 01:12 PM
Am I Overreacting, Or Am I Justified To Feel This WayI don't want a 3 way, but that was funny. Definitely wasn't expecting that lmao | /r/Divorce_Men | 19/05/23 01:11 PM
Am I Overreacting, Or Am I Justified To Feel This WayI kind of don't have a choice. I don't get to take him a lot of places because I live in a pretty bad area. I also don't make a lot of money so I can't take home places that cost money | /r/Divorce_Men | 19/05/23 01:10 PM
Am I Overreacting, Or Am I Justified To Feel This WayBecause I was spending time with my son. Like a good father does. I don't bring him to my apartment because I don't live in a good area of town. Lots of crime in the area and I don't want to put his life in danger. And no, I didn't have a choice but to live there because it was the only place I could afford. | /r/Divorce_Men | 19/05/23 01:07 PM
