Yeah, we'll never know what their intention was. My guess is since rape is viewed as always the mans fault, that they jumped on it and tried everything to prove I did it, even if it was unethical and unconstitutional procedure. This is kinda what I was hinting at before. The main issue with Campus security handling things is that men do not have the right to due process. I was never read any rights, had my living space invaded early in the morning by campus security, and also never had an attorn…

I thought you could get charged with filing a false report/perjury? Even if there is no criminal penalty, it should deter these kind of things.

I'm not saying what they did was right by any means. But to an 18 year old freshman in college it sounded right. If I didn't have it then there's no way I could have raped her. Either way, not much I can do about it now. Even if there was, this was over 10 years ago and I wouldn't be interested in pursuing it.

They said that I could submit to an STD test to prove my innocence. Basically, if I didnt have simplex 1, then I'm not guilty. I said yes because at the time I did not think I had any STD's. Well I tested positive which caused the case to draw out longer. I had not had an STD test prior to that. I was dating the girl f…

As a victim of a false rape accusation, this is huge for me. I would never wish what happened to me would happen to anyone else. After the accusation, I had my room searched. This wasn't a quick look around either. Campus security tore my room apart looking for the date rape drugs I supposedly had. It was also 6AM. This was a pain but when they told me that they picked the time so no one else would get curious, I was understanding. Unfortunately, I had a huge test that day, which I didn't do wel…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
