I'm still female.

Here is the thing. It doesn't matter what sex you are, nobody likes being lied to. If that's the case then why are many other lies so easily brushed off, and why do individuals that are in love but not exclusive often still feel very sad, often angry, when the object of their love has sex with another? It seems to me that it's more about not liking that the object of their love has sex with another than anything else.

I think most don't. Despite places like this acting as if the entire world is absorbed and enveloped in their little gender problems and gendersphere discourse—the majority of the world hardly cares about it and doesn't consider it at all.

You will not find an answer to that, however, by asking a question on a specific subreddit. The average woman lives in China or India and is about 40 years old—I don't think you're getting many answers from that demographic here.

Okay, but what does that have to do with anything? You asked me what I would do and I answered.

Blood relationships and gender play no factor in what party I decide to help over any other. I don't believe in "loyalty" in general and decide on an issue per issue basis where I stand.

I suppose the vocal ones that are making topics are almost always making a topic about complaining about something, typically about how much everything sucks for them, and how awful females are. Even asking questions is often just a thinly veiled way to complain about something. It seems as if individuals that don't wish to complain aren't making topics here but mostly responding, so they're not as prominent.

These societies worked because only a small handful of those rich enough to have multiple wives engaged in polygamy If by that you mean pretty much all soldiers which in Sparta was every adult male citizen. and even then inbreeding eventually became an issue for a lot of them because of low generic diversity. Breeding is a problem with military paederasty now? And no, the entire point of the frequent Roman sex outside of wedlock was that it didn't involve breeding at all which is why females wer…

History has shown that monogamy has always worked best. What makes you say that? Many non-monogamous societies such as the Roman Repulic or the ancient Chinese and Indian civilizations seemed to thrive fairly wel. The most powerful militaries in the world were built upon non-monogamous military paederasty it seems: female spouse at home for breeding; male understudy in the army for pleasure.

If you want to get to know an individual that you don't already know; that means you're interested in an individual you don't know much about which is either based on looks, or based on some fake image of that individual you've constructed in your head. In either case I'm not a big fan. And if an individual "approaches" another individual without the former knowing the latter that's extra dubious.

The prison population thing might be due to the lax regulations. The problem with the Libertarian philosophy is that it treats the government as "special" as if it's the only powerful player around. If the government doesn't make rules on how big companies can operate, then big companies and other powerful players will effectively make the rules for the citizens rather than the democratically elected government.

OP isn't asking "how to be a man" OP is asking "how to be attractive to you", worded in a convoluted way.

Yes, but when asked different sources and individuals give a different list of what "alpha traits" are and all of them simply say that the others are wrong and "don't understand it" which is a quibble of semantics and deifnitions.

So what is it? Do men have high or low standards? What is it is that individual human beings have different individual opinions. I personally don't believe that any human beings "should" do anything and I don't care how high or low any individual's standards are, only that I like that inividual.

How would I know what others find acceptable because they share my genitals? I only know what I and those I spoke with about such matters find acceptable—and in my case I find anything acceptable and it's not my problem or concern whatever random individuals use to judge the "value" of other individuals in their head: do as you please; I don't care.

It is conjunctive for women Apparently not because most of your own examples miss at least two of the things from your list. the fact is, NO ONE ticks all these boxes! Yeah there is: Tony Stark ticks every single one of them and so does Loki, and yet blond Thor and Star-Lord still have fans, not to mention how popular short and blond Tom Holland seems to be these days with female fans.

Tall: Some are Dark: Some are Handsome: Most are Lean: Most are Rich: Check Smart: Most are Well hung: Some are Successful: Check Mysterious: Check Extroverted: Most are Dominant: Some are Talented: check "some", "some", "some"—your original implication was that the list was conjunctive, not disjunctive. To be fair it was never said that females find average males or ugly males hot. It's simply said that the idea that they all have the same type is wrong: one stil needs to be good looking within that type of course.

Banning it was really smart, wasn't it reddit. Thank god 4chan realizes how well "containment boards" work—especially because they want to circlejerk so they voluntarily corral themselves to it.

So what—it has absolutely nothing to do with that it's in no way related to suicide rates. If you categorically believe human beings should not have the autonomy to neuter themselves then so be it, but it's very strange to say that that autonomy is somehow related to the suicide rate of any particular group, especially when such neutering has been shown to reduce it.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/20 11:00 PM
2

What does that have to do with letting them do what they want to do? A group that is statistically more likely to commit suicide can't alter their body how they see fit? No more tattoos for males, soldiers, and poor individuals I gues—what even is this logic?

Their observations about the world are usually accurate. Most observations about the world being shit are accurate. The problem is the selective part in that they think it only applies to one group and such. If you say "Most females are selfish, superficial, judge on appearance" then you're correct, it's just that "females" can be changed to "males" with no loss of accuracy.

I have never been hurt and pretty much all I've been intimate with have all these "red flags" that are discussed on the internet—most of them are cynical, have a poor relationship with their parents, never compliment, insult me and others all the time and yet they've all never hit or hurt me and I enjoy their company. The game is South Korean, so at 175 cm he is average, just like another character who you forgot(he's 173). Considering we have like 6 love interests you can say that the winner is the average one, since there are exactly 3 characters taller(178, 182, 187). You can say that, which still goes against OP's claim that "all" women like "tall".. Yes, you tell me how well you'd get to know an individual when you have sex with that individual, and the sex is really good, but that's all you do. Do you honestly believe that that is a way to get to know anything about an individual at all except how good they are at sex?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/20 04:49 AM

That doesn't change that it has nothing to do with their personality.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/20 03:37 AM

I never said anything is good or bad. I said you didn't love a person but rather the feeling it gives you and the association with good times— such as an intimate connection. "good sex" is not exactly a personality trait; it's a good feeling.

>this shit that anal is painful. Anal is painful for the first time—like vaginal—if you just shove it in and nothing of that size has ever been in there before. One finger can never be painful, then you move to two, then to three, then to four if need be and then you're set. There is no way PIA will be painful if you do it like that. Of course whether it'll be pleasant seems to highly depend upon how one's neurons are wired and running down there—your milliage may vary apparently.

Perhaps but OP said that "women only have one type" and that that is "tall" not "average". Probably also my Dutch perspective but 175 seems fairly short to me and it's the second shortest. If OP's hypothesis were true then this character that in no way matches OP's description could never be the most popular one, and a 171 cm character could never have been included to begin with.

If it's "despite" then why would they design fictional characters that are 171 cm and this is hardly an isolated case? Why would they ever do this then? Surely they do this because their market research says they should? Do you believe they're just making a colossal blunder? I do not care about "red flags" whatsoever and any of the things commonly listed as "red flags". "red flags" are a crutch for "going on dates" with individuals one doesn't know with the purpose of trying to rush into "a committed relationship" before it's too late: I don't go on dates and I don't go into "committed relationships" where I'm stuck and there's no way out.

That's not really SATC as OP explained it but more like Twilight though. The claim made by OP does assume that: it is merely defined as the near universal tendency for women to mate across or upwards with respect to status hierarchies. Not "to wish to mate ..."; the phrasing implies success. All wish to mate as highly as possible anyway—that's not a gender thing.

Well, Hypergamy as a cultural universal is historically accurate across time and many cultures. That does not mean the degree of achieved Hypergamy has been equal at all times and in all cultures. How? Historically females didn't even have their own income—they had no "social status" independently of their male spouse; it doesn't make sense in that context. Their social status was whatever the status of their spouse was; they had no independent status and assets of their own.

Why do you think the most common dating question women have is how to get a guy to commit? Or that men are commitment phobic? Because it isn't? When and where do you even see those questions? Seems like some weird stereotype and not reality—for what it's worth: females that are single are less interested in becomining unsingle than males.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/20 01:03 PM

How incredibly rare is that? That's practically statistically neglible and certainly does not create a "universal" trend. One quick look at the polyamory community in any case tells you that the opposite happens far more often in any case.

I believe in sociology, it is merely defined as the near universal tendency for women to mate across or upwards with respect to status hierarchies. Surely this can't exist—statistically just as many would have to mate downwards as upwards. I don't understand where this thesis comes from; it makes no mathematical sense. I don't know where this supposed "universal" tendency comes from: most individuals mate within their own social class.

When was this ever a myth? Was it not usually part of the anti-homo propaganda that they're pretty slutty? I mean they're as slutty as males tend to be, probably not more or less. Not that I notice it myself, but I've seen the story repeated on Reddit countless times that for both sexes, those that go onto dating sites and have both males and females open tend to find it far easier to score males than females.

Men get conflicting advice from women about looks. Women are only going to speak on their experiences with feelings rather than what they actually go for. Or maybe they just have different individual tastes?

No. Not at all. Men cheat on the hottest women, why wouldn't they cheat on me? That's too volatile and arbitrary to be something that can bring me value. One can argue however that only those with poor judge of character are cheated upon, which doesn't have much to do with hotness.

I don't measure my "value as a woman" or my "value" or the "value" of other human beings—what's the need? it's not like human beings are traded on the market as property, and if they were a human being's "value" would almost certainly correspond to its ability to perform some kind of labour or at least whatever purpose it's sold for. The origin of marriage is pretty much a stopgap for the historical situation that females could not sign contracts independently from their male parent or male spouse. If they could then "marriage" would not exist and it would simply be a contract like any other between any other; it was a very specific template contract that females could sign that was essentially sex in exchange for support and childbirth. The thing with "common law marriage" is that it also humorously shows how it's defined that it's unworkable in the age of same-sex marriage. There's quite an interesting statistic out there that in the US childless adults are far happier on average than childed ones. Yet in the Netherlands this is in reverse and childed adults are happier than childless. I would assume that a big cause of this is that in the US one is socially expected to marry and reproduce and in the Netherlands not so much, so many individuals in the US that end up being childed really didn't want to. You're literally unconscious when you're sleeping; you're not missing anything by sleeping in separate rooms except getting a better night's rest. It has nothing to do with "intimacy"; it's just a case of "You should do this, because that's just what you do".

Right, so individuals with a sleep rhythm disorder or those that can't sleep during the sound of another human being breathing belong with no other and should be alone— That's exceptionally silly.

Yeah read about unhappy marriages. They all sleep separately, I would be able to be with someone who would sleep in bed with me. Yeah, no shit they do—this is like saying that lung cancer leads to smoking. My favourite thing is waking up next to my partner, most sex happens either in the morning or at night... guess where?.. in bed. And it wouldn't be if you're an individual that sleeps poorly in the same bed or room as others. Some individuals just require absolute silence to sleep and the soun…

And you have anything to base this on? Seems like a far-fetched thesis that sex has to dry up because sleeping happens in separate beds. What does being able to sleep well or not next to another person have to do with sexual desires?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/20 08:15 AM

Some human beings sleep very poorly if they are cuddling during sleep, or even sleep in the same bed as another.

And strings and intimacy require spending sleep in close proximity? Do they have to be asleep at the same time? How does this work for individuals with sleep rhythm disorders or individuals that don't sleep at all (they actually exist; it's fascinating).

The actual research doesn't come with those numbers put out against the same friendship. It only comes with the percentages of males and females that answered "yes" to a variety of questions; "there is a possibility of romance" being one of them—which is a fairly weak question to begin with that doesn't even mean that one currently sexually desires one's friend, simply that there is a possibility of romance. I think most males and individuals on the planet do not care about, nor feel this "dating crisis" that individuals on fora such as this one seem to experience. I wouldn't know about others, but I wouldn't be triggered by it any more than any other categorical preference like age, race, gender, income or whatever—I simply wouldn't be that interested in any individual that expresses such preferences I would guess. I'm not calling them hypoersexual because they're talking about sex. I'm calling them hypersexual because they claim they are constantly thinking about and that they would have sex with pretty much anything that comes their way. True hypersexual‘s are always finding ways to have sex. That's what "Redpill" message boards are about: finding ways to have sex.

What does that have to do with hypersexuality. I'm just saying that their clinical hypersexuals that convinced themselves that what amounts to clinical hypersexuality is a normal state of being male and are suffering due to it rather than obtaining medication to manage the symptoms.

To be fair though many seem to think they work differently than they do and that it changes a 100% transmission risk to a 0% transmission risk, that is not the case. Some women can't even figure out how to make themselves orgasm and just accept that as normal. Because this the real thing that's going on. A very simple thing for males to do to improve their prospects is simply to grow their hair out. Apparently about 50% of females prefers long haired males, but it's about the very small supply not the demand here. I'm sure some are, but your thesis is that males do so much excersize and females don't. If it truly improved your face so much, then females would be fat statistically far more often—which isn't true. Because it's not done to become fit; it's done to build muscle.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/20 05:17 PM

Then why don't females all have a fat-looking face if they don't do this exercise? It's not to loose fat; it's to build muscle.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/20 03:01 PM

Which doesn't matter, because it's about the OKCupid poll which was about pictures of faces anyway. The logic is that it's only to be expected that female faces get rated better than male faces when they put in more effort to make their face look good. It's also more meaningful to get a Ph.D.; doesn't make one's face look better and doesn't show up on a picture of one's face which was all that was rated.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/20 11:04 AM
3

The point is that they invest a lot of effort in something that doesn't actually make them more attractive or has very low returns for the effort, so the effort won't translate to a higher rating on OKCupid. Face >>>>>>> body.

No, they were just asked to rate pictures from 0 to 5 with no claim that 3 should represent "average". Females rated 80% of males 3 or lower and males rated about 50% of females 3 or lower—that's it.

So unique that it's codified exactly like that in the law of virtually any jurisdiction. Just because you're completely wrong about what marriage is because you deluded yourself into think it's something it's not doesn't make me "unique".

The law is what you call "edgy" in this case—that's what marriage is, and has always been.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/20 08:43 PM

The point you invented you mean—marriage is and has always been a property situation; it's business, and very unwise business. If the "point" is monogamy then one can do that without a rather strange property and accountability situation.

While both are OBVIOUSLY terrible Really? I do not care one bit about cheating but I'm opposed to physical violence so it's an easy decision for me, in fact: in marriage I consider actually getting married more foolish than the act of cheating in marriage. Pretty easy choice for me: I wouldn't get married and consider it foolish, and I have no desire to control another individual's life and what party that individual has sex with, but I don't enjoy getting hit.

Seems a bit weird and unlikely; I'm almost certainly infertile and I never as much as had a friend that wanted to reproduce so it'd be somewhat strange to find out that one is thinking about reproduction.

They also only happen in places where men are segregated. And that is what OP is doing by stopping males from having female friends. As the article indicates, they're also not as rare as you might think.

Surely you heard about all the brojobs in the military and similar stuff? Military, prisons, gyms, a single-sex environment turns sexual very quickly.

Clearly you have never witnessed how homoerotic male lockers can get. For all your guarding of the "female best friend" you leave a blind spot and they'll just cheat with their male best friend.

Obviously it doesn’t guarantee it. But I can already appreciate the logic that these women are trying to use it as a vetting method. An average pump&dump-er would obviously try to minimise the cost it takes to get a women in bed. Ah yes, the incredibly self-serving logic that free dinner can be used as a vetting machine. There are better vetting machines that don't produce free dinner, but then you don't get free dinner. Let's be honest that it's just about free dinner. I agree. I have seen a fe…

Look, I get the logic that if you make the man pay for dates during courtship & STR, then it shows that he is willing to commit and not pump&dump you. That’s a fair assumption. No it isn't. If one can pay 100 EUR for a prostitute, one can pay 40 for dinner and sex. But why would any man be willing to pay 100% for their LTR or wife? Why would any “HVM” accept to basically saddle themselves with deadweight for the foreseeable future? Makes no sense to me. Indeed, it doesn't—that's why it's done by…

I have no idea, but I hear US culture really prioritizes "heritage" and holds individuals intimately linked to a country they never set foot in in their lives because they had a grandparent that was born there.

I honestly don't really care about it; it's legal where I live and during a big heatwave a couple of years back I had to deliver something heavy somewhere and I actually did so completely naked; this is legal and It didn't cause problems. I didn't get weird stares when I arrived there and they didn't remark upon it. I'm sure they thought "Well, you don't see that everyday" when I delivered it and possibly talked about it afterwards with their colleagues, but they looked me in the eye as normal. …

No, I consider individuals that care about foolish traditions and social labels to be the opposite of attractive. Is it because of the changes I've made to myself, or is it because married/engaged men are more attractive? Maybe both, maybe one, maybe neither and some other factor?

Whether I like the particular clothes in question is far more important to me than whether others randomly decided of them that it's “for males” or “for females”, and you will also find that those others don't uniformly agree on what does and does not constitute "crossdressing". I will say though that I'll probably not enjoy spending too much time socially with any individual that cares about "crossdressing" and wondering what clothes are "for males" and what "for females" before trying them on.…

I would probably not even notice, I pay famously poor attention to others when I'm outside—some of my friends told me that I often get stares and leave an impression. So I don't really care. When you see the Korean male skincare and plastic surgery regimen... definitely not born with it, all Maybelline and platic surgery Just google image search “Korean male” vs “American male”, it's a hilarious difference how the former all have perfect skin and also know how to pose above all else. If you even look at famous American male actors... their skin is very bad in comparison; they put up some weird smile in front of the camera and that's it. Korean male actors on the converse have perfec…

Without giving vague and unhelpful answers like, “misogyny and toxic masculinity”, why is it when men say, “you’re choosing assholes”, it seems like it goes in one ear and right out the other? It didn't even go into an ear, because I've never been told that. When we say the words, “responsibility and accountability”, does some cable TV movie expletive “beep” play in women’s heads and they simply don’t hear the word? Slightly preferring to be the opposite sex indicates a level of gender dysphoria imo. You can say so, but it doesn't in the sense of the psychiatric definition, and no psychiatrist will diagnose an individual with "a level of gender dysphoria" out of a slight preference. The diagnostics criteria clearly say "strong desire". You're aware that this is a medical term, right? It indicates that you are distressed in your own body even if you haven’t squared with that. No it doesn't? Why would it indi…

Yes, you can have mild gender dysphoria. It’s a spectrum. That's an oxymoron, at least in the psychiatric sense. A slight preference does not qualify as "gender dysphoria" in the medical sense of it, and no specialist would recommend a transition to deal with a slight preference, nor would it be covered by the healthcare service.

This logic. There's such a thing as preferring a chance without being super sad about that it currently isn't the case, you know. You see this logic a lot nowadays, in particular with regards to sex that if you say “Yeah, I would rather be the opposite sex” that that must mean that you currently suffer from gender dysphoria and must be super sad about being your current sex. The world isn't black and white; there's such a thing as mild preferences for everything.

Depends on what it would look like? Do I get to see in advance what changes would happen? This thing many seem to believe to exist as in the "opposite sex version of yourself” just seems like a very good case of expectations vs reality to me—there's no such thing.

I'd do nothing, what cares about "burdens"—there are many "burdens" that this sub and other "gendersphere" places insist are on me; and I've seen a lot of literature that argues that in the Netherlands where I live, it are females and not males that are socially expected to "take the lead" in courtship, whatever that means. if it was incumbent on you to charm, impress or otherwise get the attention of a man you were interested in how would you do it? You’re seriously asking “Why is it advantageous to have a brain that is, by and large, able to operate efficiently without your conscious awareness”? I'm denying that it's efficient, that was the first argument. You argue that a brain that was efficient in an environment 20 000 years ago that has completely changed is automatically efficient now? Of course not. Human beings are afraid of sharks, not of toasters—one is far more likely to be killed by a toaster than by a shark. Toasters did not ex…

Would this make me a shitty person? Why would it? You pay? You commission a service from a service provider on a price both of you can agree upon. You don't need the justification—do what you want. I don't think that. I think these "power imbalance” arguments are ridiculous, especially because many that are opposed to them are perfectly fine with breadwinner/homemaker type situations, or the dependence that children have on their parents. I agree with your argument, and with the usual arguments that can be used to pierce through most of such rationalizations of emotions—because that's all it is, and you can pretty much always very easily point out the inconsistencies when individuals try t…

The dynamic probably exists, but the arrow of implication goes in reverse. The "bottoms" are bottoms because they want to be "submissive" and "society" has arbitrarily dictated that being penetrated is "submissive"; it's not because they like the feeling more most of the time I think. There are also what they call "power bottoms" Humans like their weird arbitrary social conventions including dividing things into "dominant" and "submissive".

As late as the 1800s in Victorian England it was still pretty common for the wealthy to have marriages for business with pretty much official mistresses and the lot. In fact, at that time it was mostly the wealthy that were less violent more stable and had a better life that did not practice monogamy. Everything knew the king and consort probably couldn't stand each other, it was a purely political marriage, they had sex a couple of times to produce an heir and then both spend time with their ma…

There is no such thing as "female sexuality", and the constant thing one sees of females being more turned on by pictures of females in "western" society is because "western" society hardly ever produces pictures of beautiful males; they did it in the boyband era however where the males where actually meant to be "beautiful" and the response was obvious. It doesn't seem to be a problem in East-Asian societies; male pop stars and the lot are actually selected for their beauty. Most male "western"…

I know that women are very attracted to self-confidence. Only insofar "self-confidence" is just a word for "suaveness" or "smooth talker" that's purposefully and deceptively rebranded into a different word to make it seem like it's less superficial. A very easy way to appear really creepy is to be anything but suave, but very confident about yourself. So my question is, can you sense self-confidence from a stranger? No, again, when individuals say "self-confidence" they mean suaveness; smooth in…

playing hard-to-get makes no sense to me because you're actively selecting for men who ignore signals of disinterest I don't know much about this "playing hard to get" stuff that famously doesn't occur where I live, but it recently occurred to me that at least in fiction it's often quite clear what the difference between "playing hard to get" and "disinterest" is, as in the idea is sort of letting it shine through and putting up a bad act of disinterest or something.
