To clarify for anyone who doesn’t feel like going into the link: John Leslie Stott went to court multiple times for sexual assault claims, and was declared not guilty by a jury every single time, to the point where he had multiple celebrity friends actively supporting him, talking about the effects it was having on him mentally and just as a person, having to go to court all the time for shit he didn’t do. Even the judge made a statement on it the second time he was cleared by a jury

I totally agree. It’s a really hard line to walk, between making our points well and making sure we don’t give them ammo to use against us. The line is so much thinner than one would expect. I’d just personally rather be on the safer side. Sacrifice some impact for the sake of making sure I don’t add fuel to this massive fucking fire

The charges for rape should be the same as the charges for a false accusation. As for proving their lying: if it can be PROVEN that there was no rape, the accuser get charged. If it can be PROVEN that there was a rape, the accused gets charged. If there is no proof either way and it’s up in the air, no charges

Proof is everything. “Innocent until proven guilty.” Show me some hard solid evidence and PROVE to me that she killed the child. She claims she is innocent because it was stillborn.
