My local AMF seems to always have a groupon for half off every few months. Bowling for $18 really isn't too expensive and its a fun transition after a round or two at a different bar.

This video describing Wabi Sabi expands on this and this video is a great summation of Basho's life and haikus. Its a beautiful Japanese concept that really puts things into perspective.

I recently started using an app called Duolingo to start learning Spanish. The lessons are in little blocks that can be done in a few minutes.
