Not disagreeing with you and I only read the article since I dont have time to parse the study at work, but this seems to indicate faces were taken into account on some level: "Dr Sell said while the women in their study preferred the strongest bodies, there was a sizeable dataset across many cultures that showed women did not always prefer the strongest looking faces."

Haha, yeah i absolutely gave 0 fucks about them saying it. It was a personal choice to be healthier, live longer, and look better naked. I was 235 at 6'4. Decided to get my diet together and started climbing 3 times a week. Got down to 210 in a few months and had more then a few women make comments like "oh you're so skinny now" or "i like my men to have a little cushion". I was still fiveish lbs overweight by bmi and to a lot of these girls that was abnormal. The GF did the same and got similar results but i mostly chalk that up to female jealousy. Just (anecdotally) goes to show how normalized obesity is in America.

Indeed. I was (still am really) a moderate libertarian but with the gop nonsense in the last decade or so i find myself aligning more closely with moderate democrats. I also preach a number of redpill values and happen to be in a stable long term relationship. We don't all have to check off all the boxes all the time to believe in the same ideals.

Anecdotal as it may be, I've found "k" to be the text equivalent of a woman's "I'm fine". Basically a very passive aggressive I'm mad at you. I'm not trying to discount your point. Terminology and meaning can vary wildly from person to person and in different places. Always feel out the situation. As a side note I've always found going with my gut in a situation like this works out well.

Isn't developing interesting hobbies and interests part of becoming a bigger fish?
