It depends on the context, but it doesn't seem like this has anything to do with mens rights... It looks kinda like his friend was harassing her and her friends didn't like it very much. The guy was guilty by association according to them, Either way, hope the guy recovers, that was a ruthless beating. Also, I think, OP's title is speculative at best, "white knights" doesn't seem very accurate given the video. 1	Misandry and the Marxism of the MRA. (Here's the reason why Misandry is a real thing AND the "Men's Right's Movement" is misguided. Yes, it's the same reason: The flawed concept that Misandry can only exist if men as a group is oppressed and women as a group is privileged.) Sadly, I'm quite sure that the writer was serious. And that the site owner felt honestly justified in giving him a platform. But yes, Poe's Law can be tricky at times. Whether the article was serious or not, the site owner wants pageviews, controversial articles will get that. We can't assume he agreed with the article itself.
