I think you have the wrong outlook. If you're not enjoying yourself, go do something else. You're entering the parties frame instead of incorporating the party in your life. BUT don't leave before you do a few approaches and at least try to be social. If you want to leave because you are anxious, then STAY and face your anxiety. But, If you want to stay because you think "you might get laid." That attitude is needy, especially if in your heart you want to do something different with your time.

I agree. TRP is just a bunch of observations about human beings, apply it as you will and construct your own meaning. Perhaps "the truth can set you free" would be the ultimate takeaway IMO.

After realizing that this was a stranger I pulled her away without communicating to the other guy, but it was too late and she left to get a drink with him. I guess I was too late in my reaction or his SMV appeared higher than mine. In hindsight, I should have verbally called him out and shooed him away from the start.

Hmm, I'm a short guy with a nice guy face, but I'm very confident (apparently not enough in this surprise situation tho) and can charm my way into the pants of almost anyone.
