| 1 | Did any of you guys use anti depressants to get through the worst part of it?I’ve been on them for around five or six months. I agree with your doctor. Unless depression becomes chronic, I’d stay away from any meds. For me, starting a medication is more of a response to bettering myself in hard times, and not a response to sadness or depression. Another part of it was learning that once someone is checked out physically, emotionally, or both, it doesn’t matter to you anymore. It’s hard to embrace, but that person isn’t “yours” anymore. She came back in to get my card number and $1000 from me, just to run off to the west coast with her boy toy. Be careful, think clearly, and don’t mess around. Realize she lost something great. I understand how tough it can be as a very sexual person myself, but that helped a bit. Overall though, the most important thing is time.
