I completely agree on your first point; what I was trying to say was that there must be some other factor at play other than cultural expectation and rules, so I was interested in what people here thought might be that factor. I think it's to do with the way men and women tend to connect to their friends, because my understanding is that broadly, men tend to have friends because of a shared interest, something they do together, but women tend to have much closer emotional relationships with their friends, so a single guy is usually not only going without sex, but also without intimacy and without someone they can deeply confide in. Ultimately I think men need other men, we need to be open to having closer relationship…

I know having a drunk and wild life can be fun, but I'd highly recommend just staying away from sex that has alcohol involved, or sex with someone you didn't know previously. Pursue a long term meaningful relationship and you'll get all the sex you want from someone you genuinely love rather than someone you just met cuz it's exiting.
