You have a basic ignorance of how fertility works.

Your daughter's opinion Is quite odd considering her age, but she's probably influenced by her father and I'm sure she'll realise eventually how the one to blame here is her dad. I hope so. I don't know how to feel about her if she doesn't eventually get it. My trust in people is so impaired.

I would say that she's saying these things because she feels affected by the men you were with, which is understandable. In her mind keeping her father a good guy is her last refuge of comfort. Thank you, this sounds logical.

Thank you for this perspective. I love her so much and she I know she loves me. It just hurts a lot.

That makes sense, thank you for replying :-) Another reason I thought of is if your partner is a clinical narcissist, finding this could trigger dangerous rage.

This is the best advice. I was wondering, though, how is it dangerous to not hide it? You mean if your ex found it?

I think most women have always known this, it's just that the cultural and political environment has not often been condusive to women having the right to divorce or choose not to marry in the first place.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
