As a female, if I got a text message saying, "Drinks tomorrow," period, no question mark, I'd feel like I'm being given an order. That can work sometimes, but it runs the risk of sounding douchey. All people have their own levels of comfort. That said, as a female who generally dislikes being casually touched, I probably would've gotten a little uncomfortable, too.
