I used to be pretty libertarian until I realized that capitalism isn't really the absolute most efficient way to allocate reasources... The fact that there are guys that will sink huge sums of money into camgirls only reinforces this imo

I understand that what you do is work that demands effort but in what way can you not justify people donating to you as suckers? The transaction is completely one sided. Being a card dealer at a casino is also legitimate work, but that doesn't stop those that gamble all their money away from being suckers, right?

he means for 50% of women to find his appearance immediately attractive. which does require the gym for most dudes. you can still end up in a relationship with someone you don't immediately find physically attractive. i think.

then why isn't the onus of correcting 'toxic masculinity' on women instead of men? could it not be a possibility that men act violently because women don't favor wimps? that men desire sex because women like men that are desired by other women? there never seems to be discussion on what women can do about 'toxic masculinity' (i am framing this discussion in a world where testosterone doesn't exist)

"women are expected to live up to unrealistic beauty standards". this one gets me. How can this be true if women are, on average, rated higher by men than men by women consistently on dating sites? shouldn't that suggest the opposite? If men realistically believe that women are more attractive than women believe that men are, what expectations are women being expected to uphold to?
