What are the base requirements for marriage?Relevant username? I think a lot of people are excited about and look forward to their wedding day without it taking over their lives. Getting married, in front of friends and family, celebrating your commitment to each other, having a wonderful time with everyone, cake...what's not to love? It's not about whether the flowers are exact shade of lilac you ordered, if no one is on time, or if it pours rain on your outdoor reception. | /r/RedPillWomen | 27/11/16 05:25 PM
More men want to be fathers than women want to be fathers. That's also how I interpreted the malapropism.... And I agreed! | /r/RedPillWomen | 07/09/16 01:40 AM
How do you working women balance the longer parts of your self-care routines with your schedule? If I'm straightening my hair, I usually do it at night, before I go to bed. In the morning, it's still straight, just needs a quick brush and I'm on to skin care and out the door. Maybe talk to your stylist about some nourishing treatments for your hair? Have you ever been able to let it air dry and look good, or do you have too much texture for that? | /r/RedPillWomen | 29/03/16 05:33 PM
Intro and please teach me how to be a morning person!OH yes. We had that talk, too! Finally, he just got over that I'm not very coherent until my first cup of coffee, plus twenty minutes. And he realized, after my third cold, that I really physically cannot "just sleep less!" And so, I stay up, but tend to initiate before dinner, just to cover all my bases! | /r/RedPillWomen | 21/01/16 12:30 AM
Intro and please teach me how to be a morning person!I've tried this, and I just can't do it. Waking up before him means that at nine, I'm ready for bed and he wants to stay up until eleven. He doesn't like it when I go to bed early but I'm miserable without a solid eight hours of sleep. I'm less calm, tolerant, or cheerful. Ymmv. | /r/RedPillWomen | 20/01/16 11:37 PM
Housekeeping tips...I downloaded the Cosi app so I can just look at what the mission is for the day and where they are in the cycle. When I'm in the groove, though, I'm all about my routine. While I wait for my coffee in the morning, empty the dishwasher. Shower's warming up, time to tidy the bathroom. One thing that's really helped me is extra baskets. So stuff out of place gets picked up and dumped in each room's collecting location. When I move on to tidy that room, first, empty the collection location. | 1 | Help me win the stuff war?So yesterday I walked around, reclaimed all my laundry baskets that were holding "stuff", all the boxes and bags and tools and thingies and bits and pieces.... And put them all in a relatively humongous pile in one of his hobby rooms. Then I did laundry with a laundry basket for the first time in weeks and it was heaven to not drop socks everywhere. I cleared up all the landing zones and added them to the pile of Mt. Stuff. With the surfaces cleared of "not my problem" I scoured the house, polis… | /r/RedPillWomen | 07/10/15 11:07 PM
Help me win the stuff war?Aw... That's so cute! I misspoke in my post. When I said "five tool boxes" I mean five of these: http://www.homedepot.com/p/Extreme-Tools-RX-Series-56-in-7-Drawer-Top-Chest-and-11-Drawer-Roller-Cabinet-Combo-Blue-RXE5618COMBOBL/205178477 He's also got at least a dozen smaller ones... Maybe 12x12x24? I'm contemplating putting bagging up all the various tools and parts and just leaving them on top of his precious table saw. Is there a way to trigger his internal urge to think "Hey, I should put th… | /r/RedPillWomen | 06/10/15 02:28 PM
