I know how you feel. And I'm not being a jerk or anything when i tell you to just get over it. And believe me, you will get over it. Do it for your kid. There is nothing you can do. Confronting your ex while your emotional will do more harm than good, especially since your co-parenting. Being on civil terms with your ex is night and day when it comes to your kid. She will be more receptive to favors you will ask in terms of your kids schedule (like asking to keep your kid an extra day or swappin…

In my case it was to accept that I was getting divorced. In yet another situation that I caught my ex lying to me, I confronted her and this was her actual answer. "Well I didn't know how you would react if I told you the truth. So it's all your fault that I lied".

My ex started dating less than a month after we separated. Two days before I found out she told me that she had no intentions of dating anytime soon. The way I found out was my son, who was 4 at the time, told me about him. After I confronted her, she told me he was her gay friend. My son told me they would have sleep overs at his house and she sleeps in his bed with him. It was like being punched in the nuts, guts and throat all at the same time. It will hurt like hell for a few days. But the g…

Who cares. It's over and YOU know the truth. There are those who care. Some people need that validation because they don't have a very strong self esteem. I have battled depression and around the time of my separation and divorce, I was borderline clinically depressed. I was blaming myself for not being strong enough for our family. And though I have mostly recovered, there was that thought in my head that it was my fault, my weakness that I was depressed. The validation helped me a lot.

I took it back, because it was a gift from my mom. And at the time, the ex was selling everything that meant something to me, just to spite me. I kept it to give to my son, when he finds that special girl.

Yes I have. But I did not get into a relationship until I knew I was fine being alone. Let me explain. I mentioned that I was not happy with my therapy but there was one thing I walked away with that really changed my outlook about getting into a new relationship. "The best relationship you can get into is with someone who does not need you and vice versa". It was the one piece of information that did not make me regret paying money for therapy. I met my girlfriend through one of the divorce sup…

I owe a lot of people who helped me get through my divorce and a lot of them were strangers giving me stories of hope and advice to help me survive what was one of the worst times of my life. Since then I wanted to give back and offer help and advice to men going through what I went through and letting them know that something good will come out of what they are currently going through.

It hurts because it is another nail in the coffin of your relationship. You're not human if you are not affected by it. When I found out that my ex was dating (she brought our son who was 4 then and he was the one who told me), it felt like I got punched in the gut. When I confronted her about it, she said he was the gay son of a friend. Though I knew she was lying, I chose to believe her, so I would not hurt as much. A couple of months later, she told me the truth and it hurt just as much. I to…

As it turns out, she tried to paint her husband as an abuser to her parents. This happened to me and later I learned that it is a very common occurrence. Women want to find a justification for wanting to leave their spouses even if it means that they will make shit up. My ex wife even went to the extent of calling my best friend's wife and telling her she was afraid i was going to kill her. Then she told her siblings that if she ever disappears that I should be the first suspect.

I went through the exact same thing. Here's a piece of advice, that will seem difficult at first, but very satisfying in the end. Do nothing. Sit back, relax and watch the whole thing blow up in her face (and believe me it will). Trying to convince everybody that she is the bad guy will put you in a negative light.

Honestly, I think that is just you being paranoid. A lot of times, assumptions are worse than reality. Most people don't care. My ex did the same thing (poisoning the well). She went as far as calling the wives of my friends and telling them that I was going to kill her. She told her family (and some of my mine) that if anything happened to her, that I should be the main suspect. Good thing most of them knew me better than that. You can never control what people do or think. As long as you know …

11 years ago, just like the stat pointed out, my wife initiated the divorce while she was going through a mid-life crisis and started cheating on me with her high school crush. You have to realize that when people initiate a separation, they have been planning it for weeks, months or even years. They know what they are doing and will be more level headed on what to do next. In the mean time, you will be confused not knowing what's going on or what to do. I know this sounds devious, but it's the …

My girlfriend's daughter said the exact same thing the man said, and she is now at our house in Florida to decompress. It is amazing how sympathetic people are to women when they say they are tired. In the mean time her husband is at home taking care of their kids while working 55 hours/ week. Their kids are picked up from the bus by his parents and keep them until he gets off work. He gets home, feeds the kids, clean them up and puts them to bed. In the morning he wakes them up, feeds them brea…

My ex-wife did something similar, but instead of burning my stuff, she sold them. She blind-sided me when we got divorced so I was in a daze when we were going through the process and she managed to one up on me a few times. My lawyer wanted to go after her and get all the money she got from selling my stuff. But I held him back thinking he was being too mean. I know big mistake. But my mindset back then was I still wanted to get her back.

The last month my ex-wife and I were together (she was cheating on me at the time and I did not know it), she asked me when I get my inheritance from my parents, if we could use it to get her a boob job. I said no and she got mad at me for it. Then when we were getting divorced, she threatened to claim "her share" of my inheritance which only our son and I was a part of. She also took the very last present my mother gave me before she died, a laptop. She used that laptop to cheat on me.

First advice, do your research. It does not necessarily have to be the man who gets screwed, but the person who is less informed and prepared will be the one who will be. Know your rights. Read on your state's law regarding property distribution, child support and alimony. If you can afford it, lawyer up and get the best lawyer you can afford. If you can't afford a lawyer, find one that gives free consultation. Find a male/dad advocate lawyer. Second, your soon to be ex wife is no longer your fr…

Even the song they used as a background, glorifies female vandalism. I used to refer to that song as the "Psycho Ex- Girlfriend Song". Females like to point out that it was the guy's fault because he cheated. Then I point out that the fact that she not only brags but sings about the crime she committed, makes me understand why he cheated instead of breaking up with her.

This story was discussed by my circle of friends (we are all Filipino) and somethings have come out since the story broke. All the men attending the party were gay. The whole rape thing was attributed to the presence of semen found in the woman's vagina. Her best friend (one of the guys in the party) told the investigators that the woman had a sexual encounter the night before the party. The mom of the victim is somewhat politically connected, thus the "speedy" investigation results. They didn't…

10 years ago when I was getting divorced, my ex was getting paid more that I was and she was ordered to pay child support to me for $300/ month. When our incomes became the same, we petitioned the court to drop the CS payments and she thought I was doing her a favor. But it was mainly because I was getting ready to take a job that paid a lot more but she did not know about it.

I'd try to talk to her and explain that you've been busy making breakfast and that she's not "doing everything around the house". Chances are she won't change though. Do what you want with this information I'm just being honest. I was a with a girl for 3 years who did this to me and when we broke up she went around saying that it was because "she was doing everything around the house". Just to clear things up since in fairness, I never said anything about my relationship conditions. Girlfriend and I have been together for almost 10 years and have lived together for over 8 years. We are not married, because we choose not to be. We both got out of long term marriages and messy divorces (and no we did not cheat with each other, we met at a divorce support group). Western society's view on parenting is never equal and somehow favors the mother. Bad father and bad mother = mother is the better parent. Good Father and Good Mother = mother is the better parent. Good father and bad mother = mother is the better parent. I got divorced when my son was 4, he is 14 now. Every since he can remember he was always a daddy's boy. Thank you. Karma bit her hard and continues to bite her to this day. We have been divorced going on 10 years this May and she has been in a live in relationship with 4 guys (one after the other), each one was worse than the other. Just yesterday, guy number 4 (that's 4 after me) moved out. I have been with a wonderful woman for 10 years this coming December. This is going to make you fall off your rocker. A few months ago, we were at a children's party and a boy about 3 years old was jumping on the couch, fell off and hit his head on the coffee table. He was visibly shook but got up and brushed it off. His mom grabbed him, checked him over and asked if he was okay. The boy said he was fine. Privilege means an advantage or it can mean an immunity to a situation Privilege has a broad definition even just basing it on the two examples you said. I know she used the word correctly in the context she was pointing out. And if we are using that definition of "immunity to a situation" then a part of male "privilege" can be eliminated by women by simply not being petty to each other.

Boys get knocked down we are told to get up and keep going. Don't forget, that is considered toxic masculinity now. As a modern society we have to let boys stay down and cry. SMH.

SMH. Has nothing to do with what "your definition" of "privilege" means. When women criticize other women for wearing the same thing twice. That is a woman issue. My question to you is why bring men into it? We have nothing to do with it. So if you are watching a group of men let's say opposing football fans get into a fight, is it female privilege that they are not affected by that physical altercation? It's not even ideology or anything, it's pettiness of one group towards it's own and another…

Given the statistics shown on the video, feminist will read it as: 20% of all suicide victims are women. 3% of all battlefield casualties are women. 7% of all work place casualties are women. 21% of all homicide victims are women. Almost 50% of single mothers raise their children with nothing but financial support from the father. This is infuriating.

I live with my girlfriend and her sister. Every night when we talk about how our day went, they talk about all the back talking, in fighting and cattiness of the women they work with. I work in an office where it's 90% men. When we have problems with each other, we call it out and sometimes it can get heated but at the end of the day we shake hands. I have never brought home a problem I have with a co-worker. And males are the toxic ones?

Yes you are horrible. As a father you should dress your little boys in pink tutu's and have them do feminine stuff. Something that modern society approves of and we all know as men that is what we crave... society's approval. /s

Rather than just focusing on consent, how about mutual respect? I agree. I think this whole "Kavanaugh" episode was made to be "not believing the victim". Though I am a Democrat, I disagreed about 100% believing Dr. Ford and blindly accepting that Brett Kavanaugh is 100% guilty based on he said, she said and her word has more gravitas because she is a woman.

I am just reading her story and not taking it at face value. There are three versions of a story... her side, his side and the truth.

Why should women need to "act like one of the guys" to be able to participate fully in their job? "Act like on of the guys" is a generic term for blending in. The same can be said for any situation where the odd man out chooses to blend in with his/her colleagues. In most cases people choose to do this out of their own free will. How much are you prepared to fake your own beliefs to act like one of the women? If I were the lone guy in a group of women, be it socially or in a work environment to …

Also the comment about men, going to a strip club on a Friday for lunch. I don't know if I want to laugh or what.

Isn't it awesome how she was able to find happiness again? Also in such a short time. And with his brother!!! Sometimes the universe just aligns perfectly for some people. And God bless her friends for praising her for finding happiness again!!! In case some people don't get it... I'm being sarcastic.

I am done with this. You are not seeing any point beyond what is in your mind. My examples are given as analogies to illustrate a point and not to be taken literally. As far as not kicking him when he is down. So he comes home from a 16 hour shift and you think he is in the mood to argue? Let's see you being extremely exhausted and your SO comes in to argue with you because the the 100th time you left the toilet seat up. Let's see how well that argument goes for you.

Please point out where I blame the death of the man on the argument? I didn't. If I pointed out anything it was how poorly he was treated by his wife. As far as the insulin thing, not really apples for apples. If your grandfather was within his full faculties it is not the same. The timing of the argument is what is lost on you. Say you're grandfather went into sugar shock and your grandmother yelled at him for forgetting to take his insulin while having his episode instead of tending to him. It…

The point of me sharing this article as a "men's right" is the way a man is treated after he is giving so much for the family. He comes home from a 16 hour shift and the wife chooses argue with him, because she was concerned? Really? Arguments between couples happen yes. But not when you see the other is in an extreme disadvantage (in this case exhaustion). Not to make light of the situation, but watch Chris Rock's shtick called "The big piece of chicken".

I didn't say it did. But the point I was making was the way a man is treated.

I'm sorry but I disagree. I have been in a similar situation. I work from home and there are times that I get so busy that I end up working 10-12 hours a day. Just last week, me and the girlfriend were going away for the weekend so I decided to work a few more hours so we would have some extra money for our get away. I took on more work than I expected and Thursday and Friday I was swamped. I worked 13 hours on Thursday. Girlfriend got home from work and got upset that I haven't prepared anythin…

Another case of a man trying to do his family right but his wife is just all about herself. The guy comes home and his wife notices that he looks more exhausted than she has ever seen him and then chooses to argue with him. What a piece of work she is.

We all have reasons for being offended. This hits home for me because my ex-wife was a horrible mother who neglected our son and yet believed and bragged to the world that she was an awesome mom. What does this have to do with my original post? The recognition that fathers get. Society has started to treat fathers as "baby sitters, coaches, drivers, comic relief" but decline to point out that we are PARENTS too. Most women want two things, days when they are treated special and days when they ar…

FWB I had a few years ago was strict that it was no strings attached when I tried to start a relationship with her. But when she was short on money she would give me a sob story and shit. I would take her to dinner when she would say she had nothing in her fridge. But when she started to try to hit me up for a few hundred bucks and I refused, I was the biggest asshole in the world.

Somebody who says something like "You thought that was adorable? You didn't think about the pillaging of the like, continent of Hawaii?" should never be allowed to be a founder of any organization.
