It might be a bit of both. The hotel owner is becoming somewhat renowned in Ireland for courting controversy on certain hot topic issues. I picked a marked example to illustrate the point. Perhaps a more believable example in this case would be a woman using an excuse of being intimidated by the guy on the bike to flee. For me there is no PPD here whatsoever as gender plays no role. It's a basic hit and run which men are just as commonly involved in. She doesn't use a pussy pass and it isn't denied. This makes more sense on r/justiceserved . The fact she is a woman is purely incidental.

No. It's when someone expects or tries to use the female gender (pussypass) to escape consequences. If she got out of the car and said "you can't arrest me, I'm a woman" for example.

3.8m is roughly 5% of the UK population. Yes, the law changed to be more equitable, granted at a short period of notice but such things happen all the time. My own projected retirement age is 3 years higher than theirs. The clincher for me is them drawing parallels with themselves and the suffragettes who campaigned for equality. It also suggests they feel they are being penalised for being female when precisely the opposite is true.
