feminism, by its first definition, was to foster gender equality, and since women were oppressed, that would be done by fostering women’s rights. However, the reason it was made was for equality. Now, that’s being ignored, with things like this. Feminism, by definition, is not women’s rights. It’s equal rights across genders.

They were correcting grammar. When you say a plural word (in this case, “men”) and you have to pick from “are” or “is” afterwards, the proper way to say it is “are”. So instead of “men is” it would be “men are” However, on the flip side, if you say “is” the word before that should be singular, so “man is” instead of “men is” And on the third flip side, it’s Reddit, who really cares lmao 😂

Jail exists for two reasons; the first is for isolation so they’re not dangerous; the second is to change the people by punishing them.
