There is actually a ton of research in Computer Science it just isn't what people typically think of. For instance I'm working on a CS research project at my school where we use quantitative data to predict crop-yields using thermal imaging, weather patterns, soil moisture, and tons of other data. There is a ton of programming involved, our PI specializes in AI/ML, and every student researcher is a CS major. Research just isn't as evident in CS as other fields but it does exist.

Maybe it's because I graduated high school 3 years ago, but if anything we've swung past it being equal in push towards STEM. There are a myriad of programs pushing women into STEM starting freshman year of high school. Obviously this happened because it takes time to see results from those peograms, but I think within the next 10 years this will drastically swing in favor of women. I could be entirely wrong as most of what I'm saying is anecdotal, but it wouldn't surprise me if it did happen. H…

Most cases I've seen of someone famous suing civilly over stuff like this it is rarely bad PR. Almost everyone universally shits on the accuser for harming actual rape victims.

I'm starting to realize why people think we're idiots. They pay less in taxes and have better healthcare because it isn't privatized and used for profit. Even if we paid 0 taxes for healthcare your private healthcare still costs more than they pay in taxes every year. I've done multiple research papers on the issue and it is undeniable how expensive our healthcare is. If I didn't have healthcare it would be significantly cheaper for me to drive from Central California to Mexico and pay a doctor …

So many people think HR can get away with things and you can't do anything about it. I have family that is HR. Their job is to keep the company out of court and if they can't do that then they aren't good at their job. Playing favorites does the exact opposite of this and you should definitely sue if they do.

I see it on both sides (not that classical feminism and men's rights don't want the same thing) and I just have to tell myself we both have idiots and they don't represent the majority.

Yeah I feel like this sub only reads the headlines and runs with it. He skipped bail and it was his boat which he let her drive. He was charged with gross negligence manslaughter and would have probably gotten off with parole if he would've just gone to court.
