I'm only three episodes in and I already get that vibe. I still enjoy the show, it's weird. It paints the female characters as thinking that the men are responsible for everything bad, but it doesn't exactly paint the men as actually being responsible for everything bad.

There is a middle ground here. She's wrong that they should have gotten physically involved. She's right that they should have hit the emergency button when they got safely to the next car. It is worth noting that she was upset that they didn't do either of these two things, not that they didn't put themselves in danger.

Honestly, I did think the incident was kind of sexist with the adults seeming to assume that either the boys deserved the puck more or that it was being thrown to the boys. This is a situation where I think if it were a boy in the middle he wouldn't have had to throw 3 just to get one to the kid.

I don't have a problem with it in a profession like this where you need to bring in subscribers and readers. I think it's a dumb tactic that won't work, but if that's the way you want to run your business more power to you. When it comes to creating content, I don't have a concern. Now if they use the same hiring practices for the behind the scenes people not making the material for the public, I'd be concerned.

Considering he specifically said he was saving his first kiss for a relationship, I thought it was way offside. He made it very clear that he hadn't kissed a girl for a reason, and her jumping in like that seemed like a real violation of what he wanted. I don't think it was sexual assault like many are saying, but I do think it was a real dick move.

What's the problem here? If you were saying specific women weren't good at the job, maybe I'd understand, but they all seem pretty good. I don't know why they're only on the sideline, but I would think eventually we'll have more on the panel or in the booth. If they're good at it, why should we care?

I agree that it's not the government's job to fix all inequalities, but based on my point of view I'm more likely to vote for a government that tries to fix these things. I wouldn't vote that way based on tampons alone, but if a party shows that they're willing to put extra capital down for this level of issue in addition to broader issues, they'll get my vote. I'll disagree only because it's something necessary that doesn't have an equivalent for the other side. In the case of college, it is a luxury expense that is available for all people if they choose it. For tampons, it is a necessary item that only women need, so I would see it as a closer comparison to healthcare and welfare or any other public service - a necessary item to those who need it. If I were a woman, I would totally feel the same way, that I'd be paying an extra amount each year only…

He didn't drug women. He gave them drugs in exchange for sex. You can argue immorality but there doesn't seem to be an absence of consent in what he admitted to.

Posts like this are why people view this sub terribly. She has an opinion and she, like many other women, attended rallies to support it. Despite her profession she is a person with every right to march at this event. If you think her facts are wrong and her opinion misguided, say so and dispute that with sourced facts, but don't come here saying she can't march on her own time.

There was an issue last year where women not wearing heels were not allowed in. I think the issue of how many men and women direct is a lot deeper than her comments go, but the comment about heels has some merit considering last year's incident.

Maybe you should google it. He admitted giving women drugs in exchange for sex. He was accused of drugging women and having sex with them. These are not the same thing. If you think he said something different please provide the transcript otherwise enjoy your down votes.

Basically you are given a jail term, but it is "suspended" for x amount of time. If you don't get yourself in any more legal trouble for that amount of time, the suspended sentence just gets cancelled and you don't have to serve it.
