Fuck the Salvation Army. They're homophobic, transphobic bigots.

Dude, if she says no, she means no. Persisting until a girl to gives in is just shitty. The fact that you even go so far as to warn about "emergency stops" is a true testament to your douchebaggery.

Hopefully you'll have made her life a little less shitty by treating her like a normal human being - including the part where you dump her like one. Said perfectly.

He's being nice to her because he feels like he has to. He doesn't genuinely like her. It's like he's being nice to her because he thinks he has to. That was what I was getting at. And yes, you hit the nail on the head that the kinder option is to be honest and upfront even if it isn't what she wants to hear.

Dude, seriously, fucking stop it. You don't have to be a jerk, but it's not your job to be nice to her either. Especially if she's getting clingy. She's probably had plenty of dudes take the same route and try to "let her down gently" and it's only exacerbated the situation. She needs honestly, so give her that. It's not your responsibility to coddle her and tell her what she wants to hear, so have a little respect for the girl and kick her to the curb. Edit: This is coming from someone who 1. C…

If this isn't something you can talk about with your partner then there's bigger issues than whether she wants to be spanked. You can be dominant without worrying whether you're crossing a boundary with one novel relationship tool: communication.

I just wish they would say this instead. "Sorry, but you'll have to move because you're a legal and monetary liability in this seat" is at least a response I can logistically understand.

Regardless of the mod's personal views or shitty things s/he said, you did break the sub's rules...

Don't be an asshole to her and there's no reason to feel guilty. Girls hook up without strings attached, too. As long as you aren't leading her on or lying to her, why does it matter? Usually I'll make it clear that I'm not looking for anything serious before I get too physical with a girl, but depending on the context you might not even feel obligated to do that. If she's sleeping with you because she thinks you want to date her, you're an asshole. Either be okay with being an asshole, or don't…

That's absolutely fucking awful. Hopefully as we move away from circumcision in the U.S. this will be a far less likely event for anyone to have to go through.

I don't condone using violence in a situation like this but between the desire to protect one's children and the fact that this is an issue that involves fighting a lot of discrimination (i.e. I'd be surprised if a doctor was actually reprimanded for this), I'd probably just go ahead and clock him myself.

Probably during a check up with a doctor that had no idea what the fuck he was doing.

That's terrible. If I ever have a son I have no intention of getting him circumcised, but since me, my brothers, and my father all are, it would be nice to at least be able to trust the knowledge of medical professionals when it comes to his health. So much for that, I guess.

She's totally into you and you're totally handling it well. Just don't bite off more than you can chew.

She was actually going to come back to my place to split a bottle of wine, but changed her mind last minute saying "I'm sorry, I just get really shy on first dates" and opted to buy me a drink at a different bar instead. We met online, and one of her profile questions noted she moves slower with guys she's actually into. Go figure.

There's just as many plaques like that directed at women for men to put around their home bars. Yes, it could be argued that this sort of thing just puts a wider divide between the sexes and is harmful for everyone, but it could also be argued that you need to chill out and recognize a joke when you see it.

I've done this quite a few times. Works great. I've had too many situations where I'm waiting for the right moment (a break in between venues, a pause in conversation, etc.) and it's just taking too long to come (or even doesn't come at all), so I just started being like, hey, it's the right moment when I say it's the right moment.

I'm sorry, what's the problem with this image? It doesn't say anything about those falsely accused. It uses the word rapist. Not potential rapist. Not person accused of rape. Not Person wrongly convicted of rape. Rapist. A person who committed rape. This is the sort of post that makes people hate MRAs.

Thank you for laying that all out in an easy-to-understand, to-the-point, calm, logical way.

I think you totally understood the point I was making and just got hung up on the word "pro-male" for no reason.
/r/MensRights23/01/13 10:22 PM

Uh, right. What does that have to do with being anti-female?
/r/MensRights23/01/13 09:46 PM

Not to ignore your post, but I wish as a female you could post here without fear of being downvoted just for being female. This subreddit is supposed to be pro-male, but not anti-female.

Eh, I don't really see how this movie is misandrist. Looks like she's getting revenge on a rapist... it's not like they're saying all men are rapists. And by the looks of it the character that does anything to innocent men is portrayed as fucking nuts.

This is excellent news! I agree with this campaign but I have a big problem with the bigoted way it's communicated. I'm glad it's taking a step in the right direction.

This is true, but totally ignores the point of the campaign.

I've actually been in this exact situation and basically, you're right. It definitely does give her rational mind a chance to come through, and if it works it's just because she was already going to sleep with you, in my opinion.

Much more offensive in my opinion: Real men don't rape.

A girl I was really into asked me my number of partners shortly after we slept together for the first time. I knew she was really conservative and that she hadn't been with many people and was excited because she had chosen to be with me. I stupidly was honest with her in my answer and it turns out my number was nearly ten times what her's was. She just looked really upset and told me she was going to go take a shower, and ended up dumping me within the week. This was the first time I was made t…

I understand the point that you're trying to make, but the two aren't really comparable, and that's not just a result of the emotional charge. I don't think it's right to pierce a young girl's ears, but honestly I don't think that's really anywhere as intense as cutting off part of the genitals of a baby who's just experienced the trauma of birth. From an objective standpoint it's a deplorable act, but no one seems to have a problem with it just because it's what we're used to. Another reason th…

That would be a better comparison if young girls' earlobes 1. Served a function and 2. Were completely cut off.

I can't see why anyone would justify circumcision after seeing this video. I had decided awhile back that I wouldn't want my son to be circumcised but thought that outlawing it was a little much. After seeing this and considering the real reasons for or against it, however, I don't think making it against the law is all that unreasonable.

No, man, you know you really need to stop trying to put me in some sort of a box, man. You can have your opinions but I just need you to chill.

There are a lot of terrible women people out there. You're lucky 1. Not to be one of them, and 2. Not to have dated any of them. Like, really, really lucky.
