I did. She could never give a straight answer. Always a “maybe he’ll change” or “it wasn’t like this in the beginning”.

For sure. I have a notebook I use to write down random ideas and thoughts throughout the day. Nobody knows I have it. Figured that would be the best place to do it.

That’s the thing, nobody taught me how to stand up for myself. Was raised by a single mom and had no male influence in my life whatsoever until just a few years ago. So I honestly have no idea how to say no.

I can’t remember which law of power it is, but it’s something along those lines; don’t argue, show why you’re right. But even though I’m living a successful lifestyle, they don’t try at all to improve themselves. They’d much rather win an argument than improve anything.

I feel like I assert it behind the scenes instead of out in the open. Every single member of the group comes to me for advice, and they always follow through with it. If you were on the outside looking in, you’d think the two other guys were the alpha, when in reality I’m the one guiding the group. How can you assert yourself with someone who has to be right no matter what?

I like that reply. And yes I agree, I have cut back from hanging out with them by a lot to focus on the business, but the few occasions a month I do hang out with them, it’s more of a headache than a good time.

I bought them and then she sent me the money to cover hers. So I still have her money for the one ticket

Yep. Just have to get some meat on my bones.

I know I can push myself to go to the gym and get fit, but the only difference is they all take steroids (probably should have mentioned that in the post). So they are always going to be well above me, since I refuse to take them. But you’re right. I just need to push a little bit harder and be a little more consistent with the gym to at least get some meat on my bones

The real reason I’ve been hanging out with her so much is to actually test out RP theories to see if they work. Which they do. I’ve just never been caught in this situation and not sure how to bring it up next time I see her.

Should have mentioned that in the post, I’ve been hitting the gym 5 days a week

Basically everything I’ve been telling myself. I know I can do way better, thanks for the re-assurance!

Not really caring, just curious. He may be doing something that can help improve my game.

Not at all. I find myself always using situational humor, but I never cut myself down for a joke

At work definitely, but in my friend group I’m usually the most alpha since I’ve got so much going for me. I always make the decisions on where to go and rarely get roasted in a group setting. But at work with people much older than me, it is a hassle to be taken serious

Well I'm never surrounded, like I said all we really do now is text about current events and in rare cases hang out. I wouldn't outright drop them since they are my closest friends, but I do need to find new ones.

Probably confessing my love for the chick mentioned in the post. Once again I got put in the friend zone. And on the ride home that night it just hit me that enough is enough.

I couldn't agree more. I actually welcome the low times. Whenever life got rough I used to just think I was some pathetic loser and the world was punishing me. I now understand the low times are lessons we have to learn to be a stronger person. You don't go trough shit, you grow through it.

Been lifting for the past 3 months. Actually starting to see some results as well, but doesn't do me a whole lot of good sitting at home on a Friday night

Not outright quitting, failed some classes and in 2 years they are forgiven, so then I can come back to school and finish the degree.

I have to take a 2 year break in order to get into the Business program and get an actual degree. I'm not the best as school so I had some poor grades, and they are allowing me to come back and join the program once the failed classes are canceled out. It's a forgiveness policy by the university. Don't think I'm sitting around with my thumb up my ass. I'm constantly looking for new ideas and researching market trends daily. And look at all the new tech companies making it big these days, all by …

I've been taking care of myself for the past 2 years. End game is to take care of mom.

Right now I'm at the bottom, maybe a step above other people my age. I've got good growth going and instead of playing video games or whatever my friends are doing I'm focusing on my brand. However it's nowhere near enough to live off of. The end game is to make money of these businesses, invest that money into other things, then keep doing that as a side hustle, and use the large amount of income to found an entertainment conglomerate of some sorts.

I completely agree. I'm hungry to take action. I just don't know what the action is yet. That's why I watch vids

Sorry about that, like I said very new here I have a few eCommerce websites that are doing fairly well, but not well enough. Every morning I wake up and watch at least two hours of videos related to starting businesses, eCommerce, marketing, etc.

Started off the week great, had a fresh new mindset and was ready to take on the world. Woke up earlier, went to the gym, and was hustling hard on my side businesses. Also began pushing away girls that just wanted me for attention or food. However, received some pretty heavy news about my college career yesterday, so everything has kind of fallen off the rails since then. Big decisions to make soon, and it's internally killing me knowing this can affect my future.
