Way to completely miss the point.

if this happened to me as a kid it would have been the best thing ever. Still wrong though completely. You say that but would you really? This woman, an adult and an authority figure to you sends you pictures of herself and you're not going to react like it's some anonymous stranger. And even if it was an anonymous stranger and not something you sought out you would react much differently that you assume you would have. People are barely hitting puberty at 11 and many not at all yet. You wouldn'…

What does this have to do with men?

Inevitable when posts are sorted by popularity and every group has their own walled garden. Reddit was made for sharing cat gif's not political discussion.

I honestly haven' seen a sub that wasn't. Some are just more toxic than others.

Yeah but that infringed on his right to abuse your mother. See how this sub works?

Yeah never heard of a football player raping someone and getting off for the exact same reason. Total double standard here....

"There's not enough human representation in the furry community. I'm very disappointed" Do you go to furry conventions? "Fuck no those people are freaks"

Then however you want to separate the physical and social elements of gender. Because they are not the same thing.

I think they might have been going for a genuine Yin-Yang which represents things like man and woman, day and night, peace and war. But with a Yin-Yang neither side is inherently negative as both sides are required and valuable. But then I saw things like "famine" and "dishonor" on the black side and realize these people are just sexist dumb-asses.

Better yet make a piece that represents how we feel as men and how shit like this wounds us and that yes we do in fact have feelings and complex thoughts and emotions. Encourage empathy instead of lashing out and creating more enemies. For every point you make with a negative message a hundred people will take it at face value.

Sure but unless I see any evidence otherwise why would I think otherwise? Yes the system is broken and thousands of woman suffer because of it. But you don't fix that by assuming every man accused of rape is guilty.

I'm saying you have zero more insight into this than I do and hypothesizing excuses for someone you don't know is exactly "assuming you know what's going on in someone's head, especially someone you don't know anything about." She could have been in the witness protection program and didn't want to blow her cover if you want to throw around theories. Maybe she was lying.

Withdrawing your claim is literally the equivalent of saying "he didn't rape me." Unless someone can provide any evidence that she was coerced into this it seems pretty obvious. I know there are many many woman that struggle with rape in secret because of the pain and perceived shame but why pull out when you've already gone so far? You can play devils advocate but that doesn't seem very constructive in this case.

strategic It kind of just happens. The GOP didn't decide it wanted bigger government but the Bush years created very particular circumstances and now you have "conservatives" standing behind people pushing for more Federal powers when it comes to "security".
