No, you're wrong. Buying someone else a drink isn't illegal. Forcing someone to pay more than someone else specifically because they are a different gender/race/religion/orientation/etc is what we're talking about.

Look at any 24-hour workplace and you will see that the night shift is disproportionately men. yep. Right now, I'm literally working at graveyard shift at a hotel.
