I can’t say I’m surprised. I’ve heard of men that work with him and around him on movie sets that have questioned their sexuality because of him.

So because he’s an older man there’s something wrong with him? No, implying because he’s an older man we should “hate him” is no different than assuming a woman of a certain age is past their “prime”. He’s obviously very attractive and a good person, as discussed by several others here. Does it also occur to you that maybe there are women 40-50+ years old in FDS? Or you can acknowledge someone’s attractiveness regardless of age? Plz.

The earth is 4.5 billion years old and we so happen to exist at the same time as Mads. I think we could consider that some sort of divine intervention.

God me too. But to be quite honest I love him in all forms. I definitely like ruggedness, especially with regards to his performance in Polar, he even changed my mind on the mustache a little bit. His ability to go from “classy cannibal” as an actor, to wearing track suits and being a goofball and not even realizing he was in a Star Wars movie, or who Rihanna was, is absolutely thrilling. You sound like you’d like this gif. Mmm, it does something else for me.

Yes!! Hannibal is what got me hooked on him! I called him duck lips the first watch around, but then for some reason the second time you watch the show is when he gets you. Also, deep love and appreciation for Hugh Dancy as well

Lol! This reminds me of a meme I saw once that went like: “But how are you a lesbian if you simp for this guy?” The guy: Insert Mads Mikkelsen Several others have mentioned Hannibal. Hugh Dancy anyone???

I couldn’t make up my mind on which pictures I wanted to post! I could post hundreds of them and I feel like it still wouldn’t totally capture how amazing he is. Mmm, Danes.

He is beautiful in an unusual way! I feel like he’s very in touch with his femininity and you can tell he’s very confident in himself. A wonderful actor and dancer, and a lovely, loyal family man, who’s wonderful to his wife and children. I wasn’t attracted to him for a while but somehow he grows on you, strongly. He is irresistible. I’m glad other people appreciate him. I simply can’t get enough.

Oh well the cream cheese wasn’t for the sandwich (lol what a strange combo, might be good), just the fried bread! But yes, it was all delicious. Make yourself a bathtub meal!

Having patience was the worst part, but it’s worth it having my own space, free from opposing ideals and unfulfilling people. You’ll be there one day and never look back.

Everything was super simple! I’m on a tight budget (you don’t gotta be rich to treat yourself), and it was a dollar for a loaf of French bread from Kroger, simply fried in butter, a hot ham and cheese fried in a little butter and mayo, frozen strawberries with sugar sprinkled on it, and the wine is locally made and is absolutely the only alcoholic drink I like since I usually don’t have the stomach for it, lost the stomach when I started smoking weed, but I won’t smoke inside, so wine it is 🥰😋 t…

Thank you! He likes to badger on me all the time how college has “brainwashed me”, but the funny thing is, I’m a biology major, so I’m in a STEM field. I haven’t taken any kind of sociology or women’s study classes (just didn’t have room, really), so I’m curious to know what kind of “radical” idea’s he thinks I’m being exposed to lol. It’s from my own personal reading and innate empathy that I am the way I am, because that’s how you should be. Maybe the scrotes are right about FDS! It turns us i…

I’m glad there’s people that speak my language somewhere in the world. I just wish I could find them in person!

Basically! Like, if you don’t wanna be called racist, don’t be racist. If you are racist, finding a like minded individual is the easiest way to avoid facing your hatred. Thankfully, that mindset is slowly dwindling. It’s so easy to NOT be a horrible human.

Always! It’s ride or die. I’m blessed to know them in a genuine manner and know their intentions. Most women aren’t so lucky.

Of course! There is a resounding “Men aint shit” culture that I live by. Men can and will use any avenue they think of to appeal to a women just to get with them, and it is a very unfortunate thing. I don’t mean to come off as naive when I talk about them, but they really are genuine. I’ve been in the position with most of them that their actions could’ve meant they only wanted sex from me, and while I’m still cautious, they are the kind of people to hold open the door for you simply because the…

Funnily enough, my friend group is full of men who chug respect women juice. I know this subreddit often discredits platonic M/F relationships and talks about how men are usually only your friends because of an ulterior motive, but I have a very healthy friendship with multiple men (and women!) and I’m very close to them. I’m 21 so it’s probably a generational thing, but they do exist! Younger people give me hope.

Thank you. I’ve distanced myself from him as much as possible while trying to maintain a relationship. I don’t live with them (I go to school and stay with my Granny during breaks) and I’m getting my own place for my senior year of undergrad. This subreddit gives me so many pick me ups and validates me. I’m not an active poster but I read here frequently because it reminds me I’m a HVW and I don’t need validation from external sources. This, in combination of therapy and the occasional psilocybe…

Oh and that’s just the issue. He’s a textbook racist, sexist asshole, but he feels like he’s the harbinger of justice. Of course not all white males are the reason for everyone’s problems, because there’s plenty of men out there who aren’t racist or sexist, and if you aren’t racist or sexist then you won’t get called out for it. He can’t fathom that you can treat people like fluid human beings. He can’t handle accountability or responsibility because that would mean admitting you’re WRONG.

Willful ignorance! It’s better to ignore facts than face your own issues and admit to being a hateful person.
