For the record, on the Friends of Journalism and Journalist Excellence Worldwide pages, the running joke is to always agree with what they say, npc style. They frame their polls in a way that says “agree with us or explain why you’re sexist,” and the comments are all the same. So long story short, we can take solace in knowing that those yeses are probably ironic too.

This actually kind of makes sense, although urinals aren’t strictly necessary for a (genetic) man to pee.

Exactly, it’s the same issue with gender “equality”. We should be more concerned with intellectual diversity than ethnic diversity. A good group is built with people who have had different life experiences, where each member can compliment another’s weaknesses. Most importantly, make sure that people are hired because they’re the best person for the job, not because they fill a diversity quota.

This is an absolutely phenomenal study published by Stanford that uses objective data and statistics to bust the seemingly perpetual myth that is the gender gap. It is such an untouchable subject for many. In an ordinary setting, if you were to bring up that men work more hours, gain more experience, or anything like that, you’d be labeled a first degree generalizer and misogynist. This is well constructed, well executed, and well interpreted. And most of all: irrefutable, and I love it for that…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
