| 8 | "I was told it would ruin my brand" - Egard is back-ordered after their response video to Gillette went viralThat's a very good point. Thank you for the lengthy and detailed reply. That definitely puts things into another perspective for me. I just needed that nudge :) | /r/MensRights | 22/01/19 12:51 AM |
| -5 | "I was told it would ruin my brand" - Egard is back-ordered after their response video to Gillette went viralWell I think men as a whole are a much more approachable subject. I didn't really get the vibe that "men are horrible and need some work"... it was more of a "let's not get wrapped up in societal norms and be good to each other." idk. I seem to be the minority so if I stop replying to comments, you know why. Thank you for the input though. | /r/MensRights | 22/01/19 12:45 AM |
| -2 | "I was told it would ruin my brand" - Egard is back-ordered after their response video to Gillette went viralI mean, yeah? I don't think they're saying "you're all shitty so plz stop", I think it's more so "be kind to everyone and do the right thing." At least, that's how I'm interpreting it which seems to be a minority :( | /r/MensRights | 22/01/19 12:21 AM |
| -7 | "I was told it would ruin my brand" - Egard is back-ordered after their response video to Gillette went viralI can see that. I don't think they were trying to make men feel bad. I think they just wanted us to realize that it's okay to not blend in with the norm, the whole "boys will be boys" thing for example. I feel like this ad in response is excusing that behavior by saying "well we have it tough so... come buy our watches" lol idk I guess I'm just not seeing it the same way everyone else is. Thank you for reply, though. | /r/MensRights | 21/01/19 09:30 PM |
| -11 | "I was told it would ruin my brand" - Egard is back-ordered after their response video to Gillette went viralI'm sorry guys but I don't really see what's wrong with the Gillette ad. It seemed to me like they were just saying "don't be a shitty person". Was it because it was only about men and not women or something? I just want to understand. EDIT: as fun as it has been getting an inbox full of good and bad messages, I won't be replying to anymore messages. There's just too many. Thank you to those of you who were civil about it. I appreciate the input. Thank you. | /r/MensRights | 21/01/19 07:53 PM |
