I volunteer at a homeless shelter 2 nights per week. The shelter commonly holds 20-22 men and 2-4 women. No one there has ever mentioned how disproportional this seems. I can only imagine people would be talking about it if women outnumbered men 8 or 10 to 1 in the homeless population
