3	Why we need feminism I know that this has been said in a needlessly inflammatory way but there is some truth to it. There are plenty of women who are perfectly fine with being treated like a child and being patronized if it helps them. But when it doesn't, they flip if you treat them like that. However, they are either going to be treated like an adult or like a child, they can't choose whichever they prefer depending on the situation. I have just taken to saying 'Are you serious?
